This was our second visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We love the pool deck that is right on the beach. When you walk down the steps, you are literally on the beach. Our family loved sitting by the firepits on the pool deck in the evening. The beach was not overly crowded--even for Spring Break. The room was very comfortable for our […] family of four. We had one room for five people. Two queensize beds and one roll-a-way bed. Our stay was comfortable. The outlook from the balcony was directly to the beach and the sea. And the hotel was a bit outside of the center (5min with a taxi). But that was our best decision. We were there a the Daytona Bike Week 2012. Here's the thing about Daytona Beach hotels in general -- they're old, dated, run-down, etc. The town has been perpetually flooded by college kids and bikers, so nothing is pristine, least of all the surrounding neighborhood. I occasionally have to travel to Daytona for business, and I found the Holiday Inn to be a perfectly acceptable overnight stopping […] point. The staff was friendly, there was food on the premises (including free breakfast), and the room was clean and looked recently renovated. Still not an amazing area at night, but you need a keep to get into the room area from the parking lot, so I felt reasonably safe. Lisez la suite

The hotel is a couple of miles from Main Street. If you don't want to walk or cab it (cab was $5.00), then I would stay closer to Main. Main is the hot spot where the bars and restaurants are. The view is beautiful with a great balcony, the room is updated and large, the pool is nice, we liked the lighted theme, hot tub could have been a little hotter […] for me, but it worked. The fire pit's are the best part. You can sit around the pit's and have a cocktail at night enjoy the atmosphere. As for our room, we stayed on a ground floor, you can hear people coming and going as the room is right at the front of the walkway and staircase. At times with kids running and playing it was annoying, but after 9p.m. it is very quiet.The bar/wait staff were ok, they could have been a little more upbeat, but the hotel offers two complimentary drinks and you can sit outside to enjoy them! There is no complimentary breakfast and it did state that on Hotels.com. The front desk staff was friendly, made sure we had a King Bed. The maintenance staff was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed meeting and talking with Bubba, he actually walked with my boyfriend to show him where the ice machine was, a wonderful person, truly kind hearted and cares about the customer. Me and my best friend took a fall getaway to Daytona and loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort. We got checked in fast, the room was very nice (amazing view of beach) and they gave us complimentary drinks! This is the best hotel for the value! stay there!

The Holiday Inn was above the average hotel. They were on the beautiful beach which you can walk for miles and miles. You can drive your car on the beach. They have an excellent dinning room that has reasonable rates. You can't go wrong staying at this Holiday Inn.

They gave me a GREAT upgrade with a beautiful view of the pool, beach, and sunrise. Too bad I hate Daytona Beach : (

The staff was amazing! Our room was perfect and service in the restaurant was awesome! The manager Randi, and Jose in the restaurant made our stay one of the best we have ever had. We will only stay here whenever we visit Daytona Beach!

This Hotel was almost perfect and i would have given it a perfect rating except that the computers that were allowed to use by guests need to be better monitered children allowed to be on there while parents were not around should not be accepted and 2 front desk employees standing there and not saying anything Like i said for that 1 fault i would still […] recomended to anyone a little pricy but well worth it Lisez la suite

Had a great stay. Lots of restaurants close by, comedy club close, Nice pool and lounge.Rooms were super modern and great beds and pillows.

We only stayed one night. The hotel is right on the beach with great access. The room was beautiful and very clean. My only complaint is that the bed was not that comfortable to me, but I am used to a totally foam TempurPedic-type mattress. The pool was nice and the on-site restaurant was very good too.

Location is away from the busy section of Daytona Beach...which was nice for us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Steve at the front desk who helped us locate the hotel when we were arriving very late...literally talked us to the hotel...Thank you! This is a great "resort" style hotel but it's not within walking distance to the Boardwalk. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel with good food and fair prices. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It has a large pool and everything appears that it's just been renovated. There is a resort fee of $6 per day that's not part of the Hotels.com […] rate. We were able to check in early when we arrived. Had a momentary blip when at first my reservation could not be found. Got that straightened out shortly and then found out that we were upgraded to an oceanview room for no extra charge. Room was large and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Great beach and great balcony reviews

Went to Daytona for the Coke Zero 400 and the hotel was great. Staff was friendly. Room was clean with extremely comfy beds! Definitely look forward to staying there next year!

The hotel is about 1.5 miles from the Boardwalk. It used to be called 'Inn at the Beach' which was not a very nice place, but they have dramatically improved the rooms. They are comfortable, well laid out and have an excellent view of the beach. The pool is both large and deep plus they have an excellent children's area so it's very family friendly! There […] were firepits as well in the pool area and they had games throughout the morning for both adults and children. The only issue we had was the parking area. If you don't have a small car, I would suggest going around to the back of the building where there is normally ample parking and you can see your car if you have an oceanfront room... I wish we had more than one night to stay! Our room was clean, comfortable and modern. Desk staff was welcoming and informative. Restaurant staff was out standing and personable, both morning and evening wait staff made us feel like we were long time friends. Beach access was clean and convenient. I was worried that staying in Daytona would be touristy, […] but it was the most relaxing, most pleasant place to be, mostly because of this hotel and staff. The Room was very clean the new rennovations were excellent. I would diffintely go back to the this hotel. Oceanview was perfect. The only thing that I did not like that instead of holding ccard info they acutally charge an additional nite on your ccard. This was a holiday weekend and I am still waiting for the credit to come through for the extra night […] stay also I paid the extra $10.00 for a full breakfast and the staff at night told me that they did not see full breakfast on my reservation. This hotel was excellent. My room was very clean and looked new. The Hotel was very quiet and I enjoyed my stay. My room faced the ocean. I wish I couls post a picture of the sunrise from my balcony. It was spectacular.

We got the room with the Ocean/City view. Other than the empty, unkempt lot (as soon as you opened the sliding door) the view was nice. To the left-the beach, to the right-the town. Beds were comfy. There was an odd smell where the mini fridge was, like burning wires or something. The bathroom was a nice size, but there were silverfish bugs in it. I'm […] thinking since there is an empty lot, with lots of trash and boxes, that could've been the cause for the silverfish (as they're attracted to cardboard and glue). Pool was great, activities were very family oriented, DJ on the pool deck kept the vibe up, and the fact the beach was just a few steps away. It's unfortunate that we only stayed one night! We were able to check in a few hours early, which was very accommodating of the hotel. I was a little nervous about the hotel because of the outdoor corridors. However, once we stepped into our room, I couldn't help but smile. It was very clean (dare I say immaculate), very up-to-date, roomy, and comfortable. […] The flat panel TV looked brand new. We have a family of four. Our room with 2 Queen beds was perfect! The carpet looked new. The beds were comortable with different pillows to choose from (soft or firm). The bathroom was SOOOO clean. We had an "ocean view" room on the side of the building. Our right "wall" was a sliding glass door allowing access to our balcony. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. There was a vacant lot next to our hotel, so the ocean view was completely unobstructed. We were on the 3rd floor, so we were able to relax on the bed and look out at the ocean. The pool area was very nice. My younger child enjoyed the children's area on the pool deck. It had a tall fountain of water and a bucket that fills up & dumps water. The hotel is right on the beach. Although it was "Spring Break", it was not crowded on the beach. We used the Wi-Fi in our room. It worked well. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMED THIS HOTEL and will stay here on all future visits to Daytona Beach!!! Lisez la suite

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very nice and helpful. The pool area was awesome, great kid area, beautiful pool, nice fire pits. The pool was not heated so the water was freezing, but still a lot of fun. The room and hotel were very nice, great view. I was in town for the 24 Hours of Daytona race. Was greated by friendly staff, Nice clean room with soft beds and towels. The cont. breakfast was week - just donuts, fruit. Overall a great room for the price.

Hotel ist an super Lage, dierekt am Strand. Wir waren im Monat April hier und der Strand war überhaupt nicht überloffen. Das Zimmer war gross mit einem grosszügigen Bad. Leider im Kühlschrankfach Käfer entdeckt, welche jedoch nach Bekanntgabe sofort entfernt wurden. Ebenfalls wurde uns auch dierekt ein neues Zimmer angeboten. Der Pool wird richtig sauber […] gehalten und die ganze Anlage macht hat sauberen und profesionellen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Fitnessstudio hat keine Kraftgeräte.
