This was the first stay at the Oxford Suites. My room was wonderful, comfortable, and quiet. Was worried about street noise from Division St, but heard absolutely nothing. Hotel Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I will be staying here when traveling to Spokane WA for either Business or Leisure.

The room was great and the bed and linens very comfortable. The pool, sauna and steam room and gym were also very nice and we took full advantage of these amenities. The only thing we were disappointed with was the poor quality of the evening appetizers and breakfast. The appetizers weren't even appetizers. I'm sorry but soup from a can or bag or what […] ever frozen container it comes in, and pasta salad ARE NOT appetizers. As for breakfast, I think McDonald's would have been a better option and I detest McDonald's. Other than that, our stay was good. Lisez la suite

this was a wonderful place to stay. the food was yummy, and view from our room was beautiful picture of the river.

Everything was excellent! Going to stay there every time we visit Spokane!

We have stayed at the Oxford Suites in downtown Spokane before and it is our favorite place to stay in Spokane. It has wonderful rooms, a nice pool/jacuzi, sauna area, evening reception, with complementary drinks and snacks, and includes a hot breakfast. The staff is exceptionalbly personable and really go out of their way to make your stay totally […] enjoyable. Each room has a view of the river. There is easily access by foot bridge to Riverfront Park, downtown shopping, the Opera House, etc. The Centienniel Trail goes by the hotel, so we can take a walk in the morning along the river. Our visit was for three nights. We enjoyed our stay very much. Every person that works there is super friendly and very helpful. Great service!! The free breakfast was cafeteria style so you could choose what you wanted. The service, location and hospitality is a great asset to the Spokane Area businesses. It is conveniently located close to shopping, […] restaurants, the convention center, River Front Park and Spokane Arena. The Oxford also offers shuttle service to events. The room was OK but rather noisy. I could clearly hear other guests on the floors above, and below and anyone walking down the hall sounded as if they were in our room. The breakfast was so-so, nothing to write home about. Overall, not a great value for the cost of the room. Should be about 20% less.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are so helpful, the rooms are beautiful. It is a perfect place to stay whether you are visiting Spokane or using the airport. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food and beverages.

Rooms were a little dated but very spacious, great to have free parking, breakfast and wifi. Handy to riverfront park and downtown area.

I enjoyed a weekend stay at the Oxford Suites in downtown Spokane. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a free shuttle to downtown. Just remember on a Saturday night when there are events going on all over you may have to wait for the shuttle, so don't be rude to the desk staff or the driver like one guest I observed. Good free breakfast, […] but at night the restaurant is utilitarian and geared to room service, so walk or drive across the river to one of the dozens of nearby eateries. This is a nice hotel located in easy walking distance from the convention center. The free breakfast is outstanding. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The lobby and exercise rooms are nice. My room overlooking the river and changing foliage offered great views of the changing foliage. The Oxford's complimentary Happy Hour (2 drinks) and on site restaurant make for a very enjoyable and convenient stay in Spokane.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Service desk helpful and friendly. Free continental breakfast was actually guite good and more than enough to start the day. Location of the hotel is perfect and free parking too! I would defiately stay here again.

If you view the web page, the Bistro is noted to be overlooking the "scenic Spokane River", which is one of the reasons I selected this hotel (prefer the convenience of food and drink without driving). In reality, the Bistro is in a windowless basement, and offers all the ambiance and sophistication of a high school cafeteria. We travel to Spokane once or twice a year and usually stay at another hotel in the Spokane Valley. This time we wanted a more central location and based on reviews, decided to try the Oxford Suites Downtown Spokane. The hotel is definitely convenient, across the river from Riverfront Park and downtown shopping. The hotel is spotless! We were impressed […] with the hotel lobby area which had an upscale look. Checkin was a breeze and the clerk was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel has a daily "evening reception" for guests who are each provided with a ticket for one free drink (beer, wine or a soft drink). There is a full bar available for those wishing a cocktail, however, there is a cost. A full breakfast is provided each morning in the downstairs breakfast room. There was the usual scrambled eggs with sausages or ham, toast, cereal, fresh fruit and cinnamon buns along with fruit juice, milk or coffee. Our room was comfortable and again, spotless. Some guests have commented on the room layout which is a bit awkward with the sink outside the bathroom however this wasn't an issue for us. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. If there was a negative, it was the location of the hotel beside Division Street which can be a bit noisy. During the first morning of our stay a delivery truck arrived at about 7 a.m. and we could hear the usual "beep, beep, beep" as the driver was backing his rig into position for unloading. Not a big deal as we are early risers but could be more bothersome for others. Overall we were impressed with the Oxford Suites Downtown Spokane and will definitely return there when visiting Spokane in the future. Lisez la suite

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel - comfortable, clean rooms, very friendly staff and location to Downtown and Riverfront Park. This was the first time that I stayed here when visiting Spokane and now I will not stay anywhere else.

We were going to just stay 2 nights at this hotel but we were so satisfied and they offered us an even better deal so we stayed another night. This Hotel reminded us a lot of the Emb. Suites, except the suite didn't have a separate bedroom, which would have been a little better. They also have the free breakfast, and manager reception but limit you […] at 2 drinks (which is fine but less then E.S.) The ONLY complaint we had was with an employee rushing us to get out of the restaurant by "closing" even though it was an hr till closing and asked if we could take our food to go to our room. The location was nice because parking was free and it's about a 10 or so min walk maybe to downtown. We walked downtown everyday for lunch and went for morning runs on the great paved path next to the hotel on the Spokane river. We will definitely stay at this and other Oxford Suites again! Good location! This was our 2nd pleasure trip stay, and it's always great to be able to just walk to Riverfront park. Parking can be a bit of a challenge and it's unsecured (as is most in this area). The service was good. The housekeeping service though did not observe the do not disturb sign (cleaned room anyway) but not a huge deal. The breakfast […] was ok but the "omelet" and sausage are things to avoid. The "omelet" was just an egg folded with some liquid american cheese (velveeta?) and tasted bad. The sausage seemed steamed and was not good either. The coffee was really good though! The bed is stiff and not extremely comfortable. Does the job though but after 2 nights it was enough. All in all a good place to stay and was cheaper then any other decent hotel. One thing hotels.com needs to be aware of is that when you add children to the booking it omits this room (because they don't have two queen beds). But they DO allow kids:). Lisez la suite

Great hotel for the price. Staff was very helpful. I woke up early on a Sunday morning and wanted to know if I could get some coffee about 20 minutes before the breakfast buffet was open. Staff was very accommodating, opening the doors for me to get coffee. Easy access to the Riverwalk and downtown restaurants and shopping.

We were so comfortable in this hotel! Between receiving 2 drink tickets for each of us every night, a great breakfast and a great location we couldn't have asked for anything better for what we paid! We will definitely stay here again during our next stay to Spokane.

Stayed in the Oxford Suites in downtown Spokane on the riverwalk. It was a lovely location and the hotel is nicely appointed and very clean and well run. This location is perfect for a Spokane visit as the downtown park along the river and the trials that follow on both sides of the river passing through the Gonzaga University Campus are absolutely […] wonderful. From the location (downtown but close to interstate) to the staff, to the overall quality of the hotel...everything was perfect. We have never stayed at an Oxford Suites, but it was right down town and on the river. I was looking for free wireless, free parking, swim pool and breakfast. This place delivered in all areas. The river is amazing to run along, very scenic. The pool area was clean and refreshing after my runs. Breakfast was basic, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits, […] juice, cereal, yogurt, coffee. Nothing fancy but filled the bill. Staff was very friendly. Luggage cart was available. Oh and my favorite thing was the big orange/mandarine soap, shampoo and shower gel dispenser in the shower. Wonderful smell. The only part of the experience that was less than ideal was the room had a strange layout (knew this from other reviews). You walk in the front door, and the bed is right there, the toilet & shower are the only thing in the bathroom, and the big door swings into the bed?! Then past the bed, is the couch, desk, and another tv. It's just awkward in the dressing/make up department. ALSO the tv's were really, really old, but we weren't there to watch TV. Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. Unfortunately this hotel does not have a restaurant and their shuttle service was not available.

Stayed here for a show at the INB performance center. This hotel is right next to a great walking path that leads into Riverfront park. Great location close to everything. It was nice to be able to walk to the event and Riverfront park is always fun. Pros: Nice decor in entryway and rooms look nice. Condition of the hotel is good. Great amenities like […] indoor pool/spa/sauna, Full hot breakfast, free drinks in the evening. Cons: Parking is tight and spaces are somewhat limited. What a lovely area to walk your small pets. The walking paths along the river were very convenient.

I was very pleased with the hotel. What did upset me was the description of what room I was booking was lacking. I thought I was getting one type of room and I got another. I was disappointed slightly with the room when I first stepped into it. I was expecting a larger bathroom, and a better view. We had taken our son to EWU to moce into his dorm. We left home at 3am and got to Cheney at noon. We unloaded him and then helped him get settled. What a treat when we arrived at our hotel, King bed and a tub for 2. How they knew that every muscle and joint ached was beyond us, but we can't say enough good bout the experience. For whatever reason, the power went out in our room, late in the evening. Maintenance person couldn't fix the problem, so the solution provided was for us to change rooms...which wasn't communicated clearly or quickly and took an hour to be worked out while the front desk person sold snacks, answered the phone, and did whatever else instead. With 2 […] small kids and pitch black (what, no emergency flashlights?), moving rooms at 11:00pm wasn't pleasant. Staff response? Indifference. Here's your key. Knock yourself out. Other requests (Like one for sheets for the pull out bed) were filled, but took a long, long time and only after I promised I'd looked in the closet. My guess: Management trying to keep costs down by having a very limited and probably under-trained staff...staff that is not focused on customers' needs. Lisez la suite

The bed and pillows were very comfortable! We told them it was our 10th Anniversary and they brought up sparkling cider and chocolate covered strawberries. I thought that was very considerate. It was very quiet and there was a nice walkway around the river.

We really enjoyed our stay (we had a mini-suite with a great view of the river!!). The hotel is within walking distance of downtown and the price includes 2 drinks and various food items at an evening reception as well as a breakfast buffet. Definately worth the extra few $$ to be so close to downtown. We walked everywhere and did not get in our car […] during our stay (1 night). Lisez la suite
