room had odor, sofa sleeper broken, receptionist not very friendly.;

The size of the room was great, and I love having the fridge and microwave. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool, although it was small. The beds were too soft, but otherwise our stay was comfortable.

Our family stayed here to visit and hang out with our son who attends college at Union in Barbourville. Beds are better than most overnight hotels and room was clean. Desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. Gave us a late check-out so we could spend more time with our son. We got 2 rooms with 2 queen beds each and wanted them to connect. When […] arrived we found out that only the rooms with smaller beds connect. We could have probably just used one of these rooms since they also each had a sofa bed. Either that or get two smaller bed rooms that connect. We now know for next time. Only negative is a couple of rooms on our floor (3rd) had very young children and their parents allowed them to run the halls screaming and yelling at 6am and again at 8am. Our family of five had a great night here in Corbin. The indoor pool and spa were nice. The workout room was small as was the breakfast room which was our only complaint. The tables were small and there were not enough seats for everyone to eat. The food offerings were good and well stocked and the restaurant next door (Sonny's BarbQ was great!) Breakfast was cold even on the hot plate.

The staff was rude and not accommodating at all. They made us feel like a hassle at check-in and when we asked for help with a room problem we were told that there was "nothing they could do" This was after we had to wait for the employee to finish a personal call before she would help us. When we asked for a district manager's number the next morning, […] we were told that it was an independently owned hotel. The manager never asked what the problem was or if he could be of service. We were directed to a number that connects to foreign call center. The rooms were not well maintained and had peeling wallpaper and dirty carpet. Breakfast was marginal at best. We will never stay here again, especially since it surrounded by much nicer hotels. Lisez la suite

Check-in and check-out was fast. Hotel was clean and quiet. We stayed just one night and most of the time were away. Still, place looked clean. Breakfast and Internet were good. Little pricey for the area, but then we booked it because it had microwave and micro fridge in the room. Overall, good experience.

The hotel room was very clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. There was alot of variety and it was very good. The only issue was that when we arrived the hot tub was not fully filled and was cold.

The lady working the front desk was superb, very friendly and outgoing. Even warned us that there was a wedding party in the building, and if they were too noisy to let her know and she'd take care of it. Two thumbs way up! :) Room was very nice, clean and well worth the price.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms are nice and a larger than an ordinary hotel room. The free breakfast was quite good. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the breakfast bar. We ate a little later than most, and the floor was sticky near juice machine and the tables needed cleaning. The breakfast choices were good. They need to staff […] the breakfast bar better. This hotel room was large and over all clean, but the hotel linens were very dingy. The bed linens were yellowed and the bath clothes were a very dingy gray. WHile they appeared to have been laundered , they looked like they were in much need of bleaching.

We stayed for three nights. After are first night there we did not get any towels or wash clothes. They ran out. They were going to bring us some. In the morning I went to the front desk. They said they were sorry and only had pool towels to offer. The second day, they did not even make the bed. The comfort was through on the loveseat. When I talked […] to the owner about it, he said he was sorry about what had happen and he would talk to the person cleaning the rooms. No way would he give me a discount or refund. Lisez la suite

It says it is six miles from Pine Mountain State park. It is not! Try 46 miles.

The room was nice and mostly clean. The pool leaves something to be desired and the area surrounding it definitely hasn't been cleaned in a while. Breakfast has been better at this hotel. On this stay they were out of several things and the waffle iron was broken. The desk manager in the evening could be more helpful. Also more luggage racks would help […] as well. Comfort Suites in Corbin had very comfortable beds, the hotel staff was friendly, and the breakfast was a great start to a very busy day. The pool was very small, as well as the fitness room, but there are plenty of parks and mountains for hiking and biking close by. My only real complaint is the low water pressure in the shower and the air conditioning. […] It was either hot or freezing. We could not find a happy medium in temperature. Overall though, great stay! Oh, and Sonny's had the best BBQ pork! Lisez la suite

I was very dissappointed with this hotel. The pool was green, the hot tub was out of order and though the clerk acted as though it had just went out a review from a hotels.com customer from 2 weeks prior had complained about the same thing. The pool area had hairballs under the chairs, broken tiles surrounding the pool and the ladder at the deep end […] was broken making it impossible to exit at that end. The beds looked as though someone had taken a siesta on them and the couch in the room was stained and had crumbs etc. in it and on it. My children and I went to get a midnight snack from the vending machine and witnessed the attendant filling the cereal containers for breakfast with his hands. Needless to say we went out for breakfast. This was definitely not the Comfort Suites I am accustomed to paying for. 2 THUMBS DOWN !! Lisez la suite

For the price of the room we were really happy. We wish it had an outdoor pool. Had trouble with the hot tub. Staff was nice. The lady at breakfast was not overly friendly. Overall, we still considered it a very good decision.

Stayed here enroute to Tennessee from Indiana. We got a great rate on a room through hotels.com. Very happy with the room and the hotel itself. Good breakfast. We were very happy with our stay here. One note: oddly enough, the indoor pool was VERY warm (not a bad thing), but the indoor hot tub was lukewarm...sort of the opposite of the way it should […] be. But this was not a dealbreaker for us. Nothing stands out, decent room. Beds were older and sagging.

For the price, this hotel is not up to par. The rooms smell and look like they have not had a thorough cleaning in a very long time. Our bathtub faucet had a serious leak and the incessant dripping kept us up at night. The whirlpool was not working and cordoned of with construction tape and broken chairs. The pool area itself was filthy. We saw the […] same giant hair balls under the (disgusting) lounge chairs night after night, leading us to believe the area has never cleaned. i really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the rooms were very comfortable and clean. the pool and spa area were also very clean and nice. overall me and my wife both enjoyed our stay at the comfort suites corbin.
