"Our stay at the Econolodge"
The rooms could have definitely been cleaned better. The continental breakfast and the free wifi were great conveniences. Staff was courteous and friendly.

"Filthy"
The room was absolutely horrible. The door was nasty iwth stains and chiiped paint. The carpet was just as filthy with missing patches and filled with a stell mold, smoky order. The toilet didnt look as if it had been cleaned. It actually had some sort of liquid substance still standing on the seat. The shower curtain was ripped and looked as if it […] had been there as far back as the 60's. The heater didnt work and we had to wait about an hour for one of the hotel staff to come and fix it. The temperature that night wa around 45 degrees. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends or enemies. The only types of people this place attracts is seedy and shady ladies of the night and their customers...ironically one of them was checking in with cash ahead of me...disheiveld hair, smelling of narcotics and all. This place is the absolute worse. I would have went elsewhere but it was 30 minutes outsside of Greenville NC and we arrived after ten pm and my kids were exhausted. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Dont let the cheap price fool you into thinking you are getting a great deal. Matter of fact, even after we showered the next morning, we still felt dirty and grimmy ... the room was just that horrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lisez la suite
"Room Condition"
The rooms need to be updated badly. The tile is coming loose in the bathrooms the overall rooms need to be updated and painted the door locks work poorly almost couldn't get out of the room. "nasty"
Probably the worst place I have ever stayed. Room was nasty dirty, big stains on carpet, bathroom vanity darn near falling off wall and dust and dirt in corners and seams along the walls.
"4th of July holiday"
Me and my kids went down and had a great time. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly, didnt have any issues with the room.
"Never stay here"
Ok, so we checked in, went in our room and noticed that it was a little outdated, but it was just for one night and we were not expecting a 5 star stay anyway. Once we settled in, I had to kick the bathroom door in to let out my wife because the door was far off-hinged it trapped her inside the bath room, the carpet had weird white stains that looked […] like paint, there were pubic hairs in the shower, the toilet seat was broken, all the outlets in the room except for the one the TV was plugged in were not working. When we addressed the concerns to the front desk, they refused to put us in another room. We ended up leaving and going to a hotel across the street. Never ever, ever, ever stay at this rat hole. You would be better off staying in your car. Hotels.com, I have used you guys for years, please for the sake of your customers, remove this hotel from your list. Lisez la suite
