Très bon rapport qualité prix.Le parking est juste en bas et surveillé. Une supérette également juste en bas, super pratique pour faire ses courses. Ce n'est pas un standing supérieur mais à mon sens tout y est et c'est propre. Métro à 3 minutes à pieds.

Propre, calme et confortable. Un bémol : le service petit-déjeuner qui ne démarre qu'à 7h. Pas suffisamment tôt pour un séjour professionnel.

Salle Petit Déjeuner - Cette salle entièrement rénovée, est comme elle l'était en 1850. Les éléments historiques incluent un haut plafond avec des arches, des cages d'escaliers en pierre avec des rampes en fer, des chaises aux dos élevés, et des piliers et du plancher en marbre. Les murs sont décorés avec des mosaïques en style 19ème siècle importées d'Angleterre. Un petit-déjeuner buffet y est servi tous les jours (moyennant un supplément). La réservation est obligatoire.
Le Brisa del Mar sert des tapas et des plats cuits au barbecue sur sa terrasse ouverte en été. Vous pourrez faire votre choix parmi un grand choix de cocktails et profiter d'une vue sur le port tout en savourant une boisson.
Restaurant La Duquesa - Concerts tous les vendredi et samedi soirs à partir d'Octobre 2010. Ouvert du mercredi au samedi.
Durant l'été, le trio de jazz The Piano Has Been Drinking se produit de 20 h 30 à 22 h 30 tous les lundis.Il est possible de dîner pendant le concert.

Séjour début avril 2011. accueil très professionnel et francophone. Chambre de taille moyenne avec vue sur cour intérieure. On entrevoit le ciel en se penchant. Petit déjeuner bon mais cher . Il y a des bars tout autour pour se sustenter. Hôtel calme. Terrasse sur le toit ouverte, mais service bar et piscine pas encore en fonction car trop tôt dans […] la saison. Si vous venez en voiture, garez vous sur le trottoir devant le garage mitoyen de l'hôtel, le temps de décharger, puis mettez votre voiture au parking de la gare proche du métro arc de triomf . Très bien placé entre le quartier médiéval piétonnier (commerce, monuments, musées, restaurants) et le port très animé (centre commercial, restaurants, aquarium, promenade). The hotel staff were excellent. They were helpful, but not overbearing the way some staff are in higher end hotels. The staff at the reception desk communicated well in English for those guests who are not Spanish speakers. The hotel location is right across from the port. Our room overlooked the port which is also right above the fairly busy Passeig […] de Colom. Although we were right above (5th floor) this main street, it was not loud at all. The photo on the website depicts the Terrace bar perfectly. It was a great place to have a cocktail either during the day or at night. Behind the hotel is the old Barri Gotic district and across Colom is the port area. So, it's a great mix of environments where you can get breakfast at a port-side cafe and then lunch/cocktails/dinner at one (or more) of the small bar/restaurants in the Barri Gotic district. I've just returned from four nights with my ten year old daughter. Location of hotel was great - a ten minute walk to the bottom of La Rambla, and really near the Port Vell, where we tended to eat out in the evenings. Room was fine and very clean, if a little on the dark side as it overlooked a fairly gloomy courtyard. However, for the deal we got I […] wasn't expecting sea views, and in fact we spent very little time in the room during the day. "Zero view & zero daylight !"
Fab location near the port. However on check in which took 30 minutes we were told we could not use the roof top terrace/bar as there was a wedding. If we had known this when we booked - 2 weeks prior to arrival we would have changed hotel as I was looking forward to the view etc. It was rather irritating when the guy on reception told me all guests […] had been informed by email re the terrace. I know I hadn't received an email so please don't lie to me. Our room was small & had no window - just a door that lead out to a gloomy small internal yard on the 1st floor. If you opened the net curtain you were overlooked by the communal areas. This we were stuck with a small gloomy room with no natural light. The noise from the wedding party went on until the early hours. Not good. Next time I will book a hotel with a bar I can use & check the window situation better. Very disappointing. The hotel is smart and attractive from the road, and very conveniently located, in easy walking distance of the main attractions, but away from the busiest late night haunts. Checking in was efficient and friendly, and all the receptionists spoke good English. The room was well presented, with good views from the balcony over the harbour. With the windows […] shut, there was no appreciable traffic noise except for the odd siren, and we were not disturbed by noise from other guests. The bed was very clean and comfortable, there was adequate storage, the safe and TV worked well, there were plenty of sockets for charging phones etc. Wifi was free and fast. The bathroom was clean and roomy. We reported that the basin pop-up waste tended to leak and they were pleased to be advised. Only two criticisms, the shower was not thermostatic and there was no non-slip bath mat. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice from the buffet, and very helpful waitresses. "Highly impressed"
We were very impressed the moment we walked into the lobby. Most of the staff spoke english and were very helpful with directions to the local sites of intrest. It was a bit of a walk from the metro station but very easy to find. We had a room on the harbor side and the window had a secondary window that controled the noise from the street below. Hotel is very clean and very convenient. Literally a two minute walk to the base of Las Ramblas, and a manned ticket location for the Hop-on-Hop-off. We would definitely stay at this location again when in Barcelona. I really splurged for a night at this hotel for my sister and I because of all the glowing reviews. I didn't expect a large room in a city hotel, but ours was tiny. And being on the interior court of the builiding, it was also very, very dark. Given that we had to get up early in the morning to return to the US, we thought we'd be fine with that expecting […] a quiet night away from the street. Unfortunately the music from the bar on the roof-top terrace echoed down the interior shaft of the building until 3 or so in the morning (our wake-up call was for 5:30) There was also heavy bass coming from a disco or a party in the building next door, so no sleep was to be had. The Hotel gives a really good impression at the entrance and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Our room was OK just there are signs of deterioration, dust and dirt. The proof is that I sneeze and cough every time I was inside the room. Our bed was extremely hard. Me and my partner couldn't sleep without noticing it. "pricey but no problems"
The hotel was ideally located for us. We like the old city center and quickly found a great pastry shop near the St Mercy Church nearby for breakfast. The standard tourist areas are nearby like La Rambla, Cathedral, and the many shops in the Gothic Quarter. We also liked going over to El Born that was more local in flavor. We even walked to the Gaudi […] Basilica. Beyond that I recommend a taxi. The beach is a 20 min walk. The Hotel itself was quiet and a nice retreat from activities during the day. We didn't eat at the hotel - found it expensive but there is a nice view of the port from the 6th floor terrace. There is a small pool also on the 6th floor - about right for one family at a time.
