Rien à redire sur cet hotel. Très bon accueil du gérant (souriant, prend le temps de nous répondre, explique bien). L'hotel n'est pas très "design" mais il est propre et accueillant. Les chambre sont de tailles raisonnables et propres. Un petit encas est offert (une bouteille d'eau et un mini gateau). L'hotel est situé près de l'aéroport (avec navettes je crois) et de la highway donc un peu bruyant d'extérieur mais une fois la porte fermée, pas de soucis. Et enfin, le petit déjeuner est classique (whafles, pain, beure, confitures, céréales, jus de fruits, café, thé) avec un petit plus : des fruits frais (pommes et oranges, assez rares aux EU). Pour nous, ce n'était qu'une étape avec San Francisco mais nous aurions pu y séjourner d'autres nuits.

accueil très satisfaisant : toujours quelqu'un pour nous accueillir et régler les problèmes et avec le sourire. Un petit regret que les lits ne soient pas faits tous les jours et peu de fruits au déjeuner mais compte tenu du tarif c'est compréhensible et il y a une bon restaurant en self, à quelques minutes : le home...buffet

The staff was nice & welcoming. Great surrounding neighborhood! The hotel smelled bad in the hallways, the elevator was filthy and our room looked like it had barely been attended to since the last customer. There are other details about the room that I'd rather not go into. The so-called breakfast was horrible and nothing was replenished regularly […] so many went without. Clean,but web site said 13 miles from airport, but actually 26 miles. Breakfast was bad because they did not refill food when asked and closed it down early.

Great hotel on the road to Lake Tahoe, good location. Continental breakfast included in Hotel. Great experience. Stayed one night. Will go there again next time.

We enjoyed our stay in El Dorado Hills . We attended a family wedding and the hotel was close to every where we needed to be. Staff was courtious and friendly. Bed was great.

"dirty rooms, bad customer service"
THE GOOD: room was spacious, with a couch and extra seating which was nice, and the hotel in general looked clean and in good updated condition, THE BAD: my room was DIRTY! There was hair in one of the towels, and it looked like the bedding hadn't been washed as there were mutiple nasty stains on it. Another thing about the hotel was the horrible customer […] service, when we arrived we had to wait a good 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to help us, and the same thing happened in the morning when we were trying to check out. Also the complimentary breakfast wasn't very good at all. The hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon were soggy and the muffins were just gross. Lisez la suite

"Hawthorn Rancho Cordova"
Great price ,Great Breakfast, large room, hard to find.
First off, I liked the fact that you do get suite. Not like some places that call themselves "Inn and Suites" and you get a broom closet for a room. Hawthorn Suites give you a nice size room with couch and arm chair and coffee table. The bed is large and comfortable with lots of pillows. Plus, you get a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, two burner stove, […] dish washer. and even a kitchen sink. The also offer breakfast and free in room WiFi. Breakfast was pretty good. Lots of choices. I had biscuits and gravy and boiled eggs and another day scrambled eggs and bacon. They also have waffles. Juice, coffee, and milk are available. Pasteries and cereal are also on menu. The WiFi worked pretty well. There is a Quiznos Subs, Taco Bell, and McDonalds very close by. A very nice park with lake is across the freeway. Freeway access is about 1/2 mile away. All in all a very nice comfortable stay and I will be staying here again. Lisez la suite

The room was great. It had lots of room and very clean. Location wasn't so hard to find. But it was kind of hidden. I also liked the fact the it wasn't so far from shopping areas. I would go back. More like, "I can't wait till my next chance to stay there".
"Location Makes it Worth it"
The rooms are not suites (i.e.- two rooms) but are big, extended stay type rooms. The hotel is kept very clean. The Hawthorn's positives include the _excellent_ location, down the street from the Nimbus Dam Park, and the free hot breakfast they serve. However, I did find some negatives that previous reviewers have complained about. The wireless internet […] does not work, at all, in the west wing of the hotel. I walked the halls with my Thinkpad, mapping reception, and all the Wifi transmitters are in the extreme east end of the hotel. If you are planning on using their free wifi, don't count on it. I finally gave up and used the free wifi at Starbucks. The hotel is very clean, but showing minor signs that management is not keeping up on maintanence. I'm talking about things like worn sheets, stained (or missing) furniture and burned out lights. Also, the parking situation can be tight. Normally not a problem, but if you arrive late on a busy night in an SUV, parking may be trouble. Would I stay here again? If I got a great deal again, yes I would. Lisez la suite
Went for a three night stay for a seminar, good complementry breakfast ,one night had yummy fried chicken dinner free also, the bed was very comfortable, small kithchen with a few odd dishes, had to buy frying pan and some paper plates and utensils. Near Nimbus fish hatchery which we enjoyed so much
"Very good value"
Staff was very courteous. Location was good for my purposes and in quiet, semi-rural area, but close enough to Sacramento and retail malls. Only complaint is that in two days, I went through five new door card keys, because they apparently kept getting demagnitized. Overall good experience, which I would recommend to others.

The front desk staff was so AWESOME!! great place especially for the price my husband and I plan a trip back. Hopefully, by then they will have improved on the housekeeping. The buffet is good our first morning was great the staff was very friendly and accomodating however, the second morning was not so pleasant one woman could not even speak english […] and the one that could not even smile she acted liked we were imposing on her. Stayed here for a one night stay between visiting with relatives and heading up to the Sierras. Nothing outstanding but convenient location and decent rates. It's your typical chain hotel amongst the suburban business/shopping areas. Didn't see much of the exterior as we wete here during "torrential rains". We were VERY pleased with this facility. It's close to the freeway, yet set on a quiet side street. The room was really nice, with a complete kitchenette. In the morning, there was a complimentary breakfast buffet, complete with "make your own waffles". The whole place had a quiet and relaxed feel. "Bad Experience, Don't stay here."
Terrible bad mood staff. I opened the door to a "Non Smoking" room and it smelled like someone blew cigarrette smoke in my face. Dingy towels. No black out curtains and woke up at night to neon lights at the furniture store right next door. Dirty carpet. No tv channels, couldn't watch game 3 or 4 of the world series. The maid didnt clean the room after […] the front desk called me to ask me and I said yes please clean up my room. The keys didnt work the 2nd day. At breakfast the staff watched you eat like guard dogs. I did not feel comfortable with my stay at this hotel so I recommend that you stay at one of the other nicer hotels in the area. "Great bargain."
This was a great hotel. Very comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was great, much better than I had anticipated for the price that we paid. We will definitely stay there again.

I only have two complaints about this hotel. The first being that we were placed in a room right next to the stairs,and the second being that their internet service was the worst that I had ever experienced. The speed was worst than dial-up. Hotel was very close to Folsom Factory Outlets and mall. Literally right off I-50. Very good location. Rooms were clean and tidy. Not many parking spots. The only complaint is the towels are extremely rough. Usually hotel towels are a little rough, but these were like sand paper. I won't need to exfoliate for a while. "hawthorne suites Rancho Cordova CA"
This was to be a NO-SMOKING room. It was not! I could smell the cigarette smoke in the room. Room was hot, about 78 degrees, took a hour to cool it down. Breakfast was OK, not outstanding Service was good
