We recently stayed at this hotel and I was shocked by the condition of the hotel. There was under siding falling off the roof, exposed wiring, and sidewalks that had not been shoveled or salted after a recent snow fall. We were there for 2 nights / 3 days and they had not cleared a path to an outside door. The customer service was fair, when you could […] find an employee. There were out of towels one night for the pool and rooms. It appeared that only one staff was working and she was surfing the internet when I asked for towels. "FRONT DESK STAFF & MANAGER UNQUALIFIED & LAZY"
Had the front desk staff or AT LEAST the manager, Krusty, been AT ALL inviting or knowledgeable, our staff would've been decent. Maybe the manager, Krusty, should set her pack of cigarettes down A MINUTE, and do her job.....IF SHE EVEN KNOWS HOW!!! Hotel seems to be run by a bunch of tv trailer-park partying people, whom all have their hands in the […] cookie jar! I noticed Krusty, the manager, putting another guests check-in money, DIRECTLY IN HER OWN POCKET while pretending to enter it into her system BUT NEVER LEFT THE SAME COMPUTER SCREEN! "Nice hotel"
I wasn't sure which hotel to book when going to visit family in Rice Lake and really liked this place. It was a very good price with friendly staff and the room was very modern and updated with a flat screen and nice beds. No bed bugs either. I also liked that the shower curtain isn't the kind that sticks to you when your in the shower! It was pretty […] quiet too except in the later part of the morning you could hear people closing the doors to their rooms sometimes if you were standing by the bathroom at the front of the room but definitely not loud enough to not stay here.
