Pleasant stay. Decent room at a good price.

Very satisfied with our stay at Bellmawr Howard Johnson's. Staff is polite, courteous, helpful. Continental breakfast was more than just danish and coffee. Muffins, bagels, bread, cereal and even a waffle maker in addition to coffee and juice. I believe telling customers theris continental breakfast in the morning is very misleading. They should say "SNACK"!

The only thing about this hotel that was nice was the bed. My fiance and I slept really well in the bed, but as far as the hotel and the room, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We could not pinpoint the smell, other than it was a mixture between mildew, overly pungent airfreshener, and wet towels. The room was supposed to have a desk, there […] was no desk in the room... The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, and the maid did not clean the room. The maid left empty water bottles, empty cups, did not leave an extra roll of toilet paper, and did not change the bed linens as we had requested. Also, there was peeling wallpaper, cracked tiles in the bathroom, the water faucet in the shower was hanging out of the wall unsafely, and the sink wouldn't drain. When we asked for a plunger, or for someone to come and take a look, the front desk told us we had to come and get the plunger ourselves! Lisez la suite

Worth your payment, but don't expect too much.

i would give it a 2.5 but there is no provision for t hat right off the turnpike, cant miss it.. its old only 21 channels on tv but i was there to sleep heat worked, continental breakfast is raisin bran, frosted flakes, toast or bagels and juice no complaints would stay there again

Room was big enough for family of 4. Beds and linen were good. We had to change to another room after dicovering that the toilet was blocked. Two tiny outside windows, the big window was next to the door in the corridor which made the room dark and if you leave the curtains open - other hotel guest passing by can look inside. room was clean and clerk at front desk was friendly.

I have stayed here a few times. Its very convenient, right off the highway. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the rooms are a good size. 2 Queens rather than fulls. The breakfast is free but not great. The staff is so-so. Some are nice some are rude. Its a decent hotel for the money if all your doing is sleeping there.

This hotel was very dirty and need of a major overhaul. I had to request a new blanket because the one I had was stained. The walls and doors had black dirt as well as the shower curtain. The doors in the dining area were filthy and falling apart. In the room, the picture frame had black stains or dirt on them. I booked my room online and was very happy […] with the rate I received. However, my room mate told me "You get what you pay for". Evidently this is true. I remember a time when Howard Johnson was one of the best hotels in the country. Apparently this is no longer true. I picked this hotel for its location convenience and good rate. The rooms were old but clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great wifi speed!

For the price it was ok but had mold on ceiling in shower and in grout. Bed spread had stians on them and the back of the chair was missing screws and couldn't lean back on them.only had 24 channels to watch on television.

Neighborhood, I felt a little bit insecure. Paper cups, plastic bags, and many other trash were thrown every where in the area. Isnt that nomal in the States, is it? Since i didnt have a car, i took bus from Philly. It cost me $4 each way, and like 40 to 50 minutes. That had been no problem if bus drivers were nice enough to stop by when i raise my […] hand saying "stop please" at just right in front of the bus stop. Hotel service was ok for money. The staff were friendly, the hotel clean. But the walls and ceilings must be made of cardboard. We could hear conversations from upstairs, then music, the constant vibration of a cell phone...then I think they were playing Kinect or wii and I was half expecting them to come through the floor onto our beds! This hotel is very convenient. Its just off the highway. The price is usually good. They have two queen beds rather than doubles so that is nice. The beds are very comfortable that is the biggest plus to this hotel. They have free continental breakfast but it is not very good.

Okay for the price, but nothing to write home about.

I was disappointed with the TV service as they did not have some major sports networks and I like to watch the bowl games.

I needed a place to stay and this was very a very convenient lopcation. No problem checking in, but the room was not very clean... the coffee pot was dirty, there was an awful draft and the heater didn't work very well. The bathtub didn't drain properly (clogged). The hotel itself was great. Aside from our noisy neighbors. They were very loud, sounded like a herd of elephants. It's not the hotels fault

Very clean & great location not far from Philly

nice place to stay. breakfast could have been better

tv channels a little lacking sportswise.plenty of hbo channels. room was big enough with mini fridge, and microwave. 8-9 miles from downtown philadelphia and chinatown. might work well for families and cost conscious travelers.

The hotel is not perfect, it could use some revamping. But it was comfortable and clean.

This hotel and it's staff is nice. The staff will make you feel at home. I would and will stay there again.

Well considering I had booked this room like 10 hrs b4 I needed it and it wuz REALLY last minute due to my evacuation bc of the hurricane, i wasn't expecting the best but i was shocked! It was a VERY nice hotel, room was clean and comfy. I would most DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Difficult to get into parking lot - entrance not obvious and occurs right after another road merges. Staff was nice - while I was checking in the desk clerk was doing an admirable job helping a group of foreign visitors with car trouble. The lobby was surreal - reminded me of a psych unit with no personality at all. The breakfast area was small, with […] little offered. But the room was truly pathetic. Altho it looked clean, it hadn't been renovated since the last century - I'm not sure which part of the century. The bathroom was teeny tiny with a broken toilet seat - which was replaced after I complained. The rug was burned with several profiles of an iron, even though an ironing board was available. you can't get a much better location when going to Philadelphia.

This hotel is a little dated but was a great value for the price. Convient to Camden aquarium and also many restaurants and stores close by.

my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the Howard FJohnson Hotel, we enjoyed the comfortable beds, housekeeping did a good job keeping our beds and bathroom cleaned the 4 days we stayed. We Thank You.

It exceeded my expectations taking into consideration I paid $46 per night. Very convenient location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay here next time I go to Philadelphia.

Spending there only one night we were satisfied. Affordable price and with closeness to Philadelphia it has great location for our next morning trip there.
