Hôtel accueillant et chaleureux, propre et confortable, petit déjeuner très copieux, situé à proximité des transports en commun et de certains monuments. Aucune hésitation à avoir.

Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.

"Déçue pour un quatre étoiles."
Chambre sous les toits juste un velux pas de vue sur l'extérieur très mal insonorisée, chaude (velux qui ne tient pas ouvert) En ce qui concerne les petits déjeuners ne pas y aller en fin de service (9h30-10h00) car il ne reste plus que du pain dur. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter Rome si l'on vient dans la capitale en voiture. Parking et proximité de métro (5 minutes à pied). Les chambres ne sont pas très nettes (téléphone collant, poussière sur les abats-jours, traces dans et autour de la douche). Par rapport aux autres commentaires déjà postés: effectivement la douche coule et l'hôtel […] est très bruyant ! ( bruits dans les couloirs incessants et si vous êtes au rdc, nous avions même un bruit sourd chaque fois que l'ascenseur se mettait en route) Petit-déjeuner correct mais café à la machine EPOUVANTABLE ! "Great Location - in need of a refurb though!.."
Although the room was clean everything is in desperate need of a refurb there, great location being just 3/4 stops from the centre of Rome and the whole reasonably comfertable and clean. "Great Hotel at a very competitive price."
This Hotel is not in the center of Rome but one stop from the End of Line A metro. It only takes about 6 min to walk from the Cornelia Metro station and is easily commuted from Termini station, where your coach terminates from the Airport. It is used for conferences as well as a Hotel. Classed as a 4 Star Hotel which my wife and I consider to be correct. […] certainly our room was clean tidy and well kept by Hotel staff. We found the beds very comfortable and the room was very Quiet even with the windows open. We only ate in the Restaurant once but what we had was very nice and not a problem for the hotel staff even at 9.30 pm. The breakfast was fabulous, with just about everything imaginable to eat. Fresh breads, cheese, ham, fruit, bacon eggs, smoked sausage, tomatoes, yogurt, jams, fresh fruit juice and Dow Egberts coffee from the machine. "Beautiful Setting"
We had a wonderful time at the Domus Mariae and would stay again. The setting is beautiful with parks all around and a very peaceful environment. The restaurant served delicious meals although selection is limited. "Lovely quiet hotel"
We went for honeymoon. It was a lovely hotel, very quiet and pleasing to the eye. Breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of veriety. We went out at 3pm before and when we returned the housekeppers had still done our room which we were impressed with. Only criticism was there wasnt much to do in the hotel if you wanted a quiet day in, maybe some evening […] enterrainment needed. Also was hoping for a few more benefits of being on honeymoon as we were told we would get bathrobes and flowers. Although we did get 20% off the resturant and a welcome drink, unsure of whether this was a honeymoon treat, but thankyou for it! Would definitely recommend, lovely location. Had a lovely stay at this hotel - we were lucky and had one of the larger size twin bed rooms which was spacious, clean and had nice modern decor. (However the aircon had to be kept on full all the time as it was not very effective). The room was situated well away from the lift and stairs so we were not distubed by any noise. Fantastic choice for the […] buffet breakfast in a lovely bright, high ceilinged dining room. This historical old building is in its own lovely grounds - really nice to come back to after the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It is not in the centre of Rome however the metro station is just 5-10 minutes walk so travel is not a problem. There are a few local restaurants and shops nearby which was handy. "A Conference Hotel but good for family"
As it was my daughter's 14th birthday, I was a little disappointed with our initial room. Being a twin room I hoped it would be larger, spoke to the Reception staff. They were extremely helpful and understood. Although overrun with a conference, they still took time to take me to another room, although unsuitable. They changed my room the following […] day. The standard rooms are not the best but they are very comfortable. They could do with supplying a top sheet as well as a duvet as so hot at night. The air conditioning worked well and the marble type floor was cooling. I feel the room was above standard. It is not a new hotel, so this needs to be taken into account when booking, as rooms are not large, but the hotel itself is very large and impressive. All staff I met, from the Terrace cafeteria, reception, and even the cleaners were all very friendly, all smiled and all spoke to me and made me feel welcome. Shame there were no tea making facilities in the room but the staff were happy to supply me with a jug of hot water so I could make my own tea. The choice for breakfast was good, catering for most tastes. Perhaps the addition of some cooked tomatoes or mushrooms would have been good. The breakfast, on some mornings, was cold as only had candles underneath to keep food warm but, on the whole, good value. I was pleased and would recommend this hotel. "Rome Hotel - Decent Value and Location"
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. We found the beds to be extremely firm and the lift was often unavailable (especially in the mornings as it appeared that housekeeping uses the same elevators). The breakfast had a very nice variety; however, we found the "hot" food temperature to be warm at best. Having to go to the lobby […] for wifi was not very relaxing to say the least. We had an issue with one of our original rooms not having A/C the day we arrived and the staff did a great job in moving things around so that we at least had A/C for that first night although we were in a downgraded room. This hotel is fantastic, very clean, very friendly. Just around the corner from the Metro, so easy to get to the center of Rome and all the sites (6 stops away from the Trevi Fountain, 4 from Vatican City). The hotel was clean, comfortable, affordable and not too far from the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. The hotel was very accommodating and providing us with a wheelchair for my in-laws during our stay, at no charge. We had a wonderful stay at Domus!! Few minute walk to the Metro and few stops away from It all:) We arrived at 9:30am room wasn't ready, But we knew check in time was at 2pm. After a 9hr Flight from New York.. We kinda...Wanted to freshen up? But we were able to leave our bags and started our Adventures in Rome!! Only Negative comment is.. Even though […] we were one of the first to Check in They placed us in a room with a view of the garbage dumpster. Let's just say we never looked out. Other than that.. Close to a metro station - Cornelia on Line A - this line closes at 9pm (sun-fri) as they creating new line. First room was dirty and was close to a lift...lots of noise throughout the night. "Good value for money"
Pleasant hotel situated about a 30-35 minute walk from the Vatican, out of town along the Via Aurelia. It is on both the bus route & metro (line A). Although the hotel details give Cornelia as the nearest metro station, the twice we got off there (including on arrival, complete with cases) we got hopelessly lost! We found it far easier to get off at […] the previous stop, Baldo degli Ubaldi, as all 4 exits come out onto Via Aurelia so as long as you know to walk uphill (downhill is into town) the hotel is on the same road, the other side of the traffic lights at the main junction (on the left, past the shops and snack bar, then down a long driveway) - about a 12 minute walk. The hotel itself is set well back from the road, surrounded by gardens, so it is nice and quiet after the noise and bustle of the city. It is also a conference centre, although we only saw conferences there at the weekend (we stayed 6 days). The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate and clean. No coffee making facility in the room. We did have a problem with the aircon one night, but it was fixed by the time we came back the following evening (despite it being a Sunday). We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is self service with a very good range to choose from - cereals, continental or bacon and scrambled egg. This hotel had a good location (close to the metro) and nice rooms. However, the service was terrible! The people working the reception desk wouldn't help you and were downright mean! The servers in the restaurant didn't want to serve you food... it was too much trouble. They only wanted to serve you drinks... And, asking for seperate checks (I was […] on business) was like the world was coming to an end. The servers actually argued with me and lied to me... Only when I refused to pay the check did I get a seperate check. I also had a group of 22 people with me. The others were treated no better... This is a lovely hotel. The rooms and breakfast are excellent. However I did run into problems with some of the service. There was a problem with the phone system and although I was assured that any messages would be delivered to my room, a friend was unable to contact me in spite of several attempts. "Good and Bad"
We arrived at the hotel with our tour group. We stayed 2 nights with the tour group, and then booked through Expedia for the rest of our stay (another 3 nights) Many in our group could not get into the room as the keys didn't work. The staff did nothing to help them except kept giving them more keys to try. We got into our room and it smelled like smoke […] and had an ashtray. When we asked to change rooms they said all they rooms were non-smoking, but ours clearly wasn't! We did get to change rooms after much complaining. The desk staff was not very nice, but the staff in the restaurant and other areas were very nice. There is a definite difference in rooms in this hotel. Some are very nice and spacious, others are smelly and cramped. We liked the rooms on the 4th floor the best. The location is out of Rome beyond Vatican city. You can't really walk anywhere significant, but there is a Metro station just a very short, convenient walk from the hotel. Taking the metro, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go. Also the hotel is in a park-like setting so after a busy day in downtown Rome, it is nice to come back to some green space. Also the food at the hotel was good and reasonably priced. The Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna is a beautiful hotel. The staff are polite and friendly, and the continental breakfast is great! The downfall? The hotel is not in walking distance of any historical sites, HOWEVER, the train is literally down the street. My husband and I paid 8 euro for an all day train pass. It was the easiest way to get around Italy! […] The trains are not like here in the U.S., they arrive at your stop every 10 -15 minutes in Rome. You never miss your stop! Hemos pasado 3 días en este palacio antiguo, la verdad q lo q es lo q esperábamos!reformafo recientemente sin grandes calidades pero con buena presencia, el desayuno excelente, los empleados muy amables excepto xa coger un taxi x la noche q se les notó mucho q iban a comisión x pedir la compañía con la q tenían contratada. (primero querian cobrar 65 […] euros, luego 55 euros) Julio el botones muy simpatico!!! a unos 7 minutos de la parada del metro y a 3 del centro. Lo dicho, calidad/precio estamos muy contentos! Ottimo hotel per passare un fine settimana con la famiglia. Tranquillo, con un ampio parco e degli spazi comuni interni ampi. La posizione non è centralissima ma la stazione della metropolitana è davvero a due passi. Per chi non fa tardi la sera è ottimo. Altrimenti meglio optare per un hotel più centrale. Io sono spesso a Roma per lavoro e alloggio […] in altri hotel molto centrali ma gli spazi a disposizione per le famiglie sono davvero limitati. A cominciare dalle camere: spesso si è obbligati a prenotare due camere separate con tutte le limitazioni del caso. Qui abbiamo alloggiato in una suite che aveva il salotto attrezzato a divano letto (ampio e comodo) per i bambini che avevano tra l'altro la loro televisione. O Hotel surpreendeu pela hospitalidade de seus atendentes, tanto da recepção quanto do café da manhã. A qualidade de seus jardins foi uma bela lembrança. A Capela no interior do hotel é de "cair o queixo". Parabéns a todos do hotel.Avis véridique Hotels.com

ambiente sereno, pur nel via vai di turisti. Servizio colazione ottimo. Il ristorante è di livello medio-alto. La vicinanza con la stazione Cornelia della metropolitana rende facili tutti gli spostamenti verso il Vaticano e il Centro Città.Avis véridique Expedia
