I would recommended this hotel to anyone the only flaw it has was that our room did not get cold when the air conditioner was on. It was almost like it was blowing warm air out. Other than that everything was good

This was my second stay at this property in 2011. In February, the hotel was installing a new TV system. During the change over, the service was spotty and the staff uncertain how to address the problems. In addition, the lock on my room wouldn't consistently operate. I was told that the hotel was waiting for a new supply of key cards. Although they […] weren't able to fix the problems consistently, the staff tried to be helpful and replaced our repeatedly demagnetized cards. The second stay. just completed, was a similar experience. Sadly, the TV problems remain. I was told that although the system change over is complete, the hotel has more than one brand of TV in use and that the remote controls work well with some and not with others. Some TV's require two remotes. In my room, I was supplied with one only. Although it would change the channel and volume, it could not turn the TV on and off. No second remote was provided, despite my requests. My room had very poor wireless access and although the staff couldn't explain or fix the problem, they cheerfully moved us to a new room. Other minor issues arose with the emptying of waste cans in the room and noise from an adjacent room. The printer in the business center (a closet with a computer, printer, and copier), was low on toner. The staff looked, but could not locate a replacement. Overall, my wife and i felt that the staff was well-meaning and personable, but they didn't have real solutions. Each time we contacted them, the staff responded with care, but without solutions. I suspect that the management of the hotel isn't providing it's staff with what they need to do their jobs as well as they'd like to do them. That said, for the right price I would return to the hotel again, if for no other reason than to find out if these small problems will be overcome. Lisez la suite

We have to travel monthly to the TJH for cancer treatments for my husband. It was a convenient ride to the hospital which is located in downtown Philly. The price was also very reasonable. We would choose this hotel again.

Great hotel, great staff. Met the manager while I was there, very friendly, helpful.

Upon first entering the room, the heater was running and set on 80 degrees! (Matching the temperature outside!) Tile floor in bathroom was cracked in several places. Couldn't close drain on tub to hold water.

First visit to Philadelphia, and while we only stayed one night, the hotel was very comfortable and only a short drive to the city. Very nice room and a good breakfast as well. We would stay again if visiting the area in the future.

The first room they gave us reeked of cigarettes though they claim that the entire facility is smoke free. We immediately went downstairs to complain and were given a new room which was clean, comfortable and great. Aside from the first smoking room issue we had a nice stay. We inquired about a nice local place for dinner and were pointed to the Olive […] Garden right down the road, not at all what we were looking for when we said "nice local place" so we found our own and had an amazing Italian meal. The room was clean and nice. The wifi was free which is a plus. They also serve a good breakfast that is included. Overall a good choice. Not far from Philly also. Bcause I drive a motor coach I wish the parking lot was bigger but it still accommodated the coach.

It was a nice hotel with plenty of amenities. The place was clean, attractive and had easy access to the wireless internet. The complimentary breakfast was a bargain. My only complaint was that a maid came in from the street and stuck her bare hand in the bread/bagel container without using the provided utensils. Problem from the start was we had reservation for three people, and there was only one bed. Took a while and more money to get roll away bed. Never had towels for three people. We stayed four nights, and had to ask for more towels and go get them every time. Food was what you expect, it was fine. The gentleman in the next room asked us for help communicating […] with house keeping that he had no blankets or pillows--it got quit amusing--she spoke not English and we spoke no Spanish. Convenient to hi-speed line to Phila. Nearby eateries. Excellent breakfast in hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Got sick and staff helped me find a walk in clinic easy to drive to, gave directions, etc. Went beyond call of duty. Excellent hotel, would stay again.

One expects a clean safe hotel with hot water when taking a morning shower. On August 01, 2011 the hotel hot water supply failed. Not a great way to start a busy first day of medicatal school for my daughter. Other than that issue your hotel is fine. No notice of the problem was provided.

Everyday we had to get new room keys at least two or three times. We came back to our room on the night of the 10th and it wasn't cleaned. The night manager gave us clean towels and toliet paper. When you enter and leave nobody says hello or goodby.

We stayed there for two nights while going to Clementon Park. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. My clean was clean, but the refrigerator was never cleaned out from the previous guest. The pool was a comfortable temperature, but there were WAY too many chemicals in it. All our bathing suits were bleached to several shades lighter than they […] had been. (not sure if maybe the pool had just been treated, but then perhaps, maybe a sign should have been hung...) The breakfast was good, but the attendant was reluctant to get more food out at 9:30 when my family arrived. Although i was only there one night the gentleman at the front desk and staff could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable and easy on my legs. The handicapped accesable room was perfect and easy to get around.

The hotel was older and things were a little worn as far as fixtures etc....but my room had a big king bed, and it had a frig / microwave / tv / two phones and great air conditioning as well as a super hot shower so it was good value for the money.

We were very impressed and pleased with this hotel. Phill the manager was especially helpful. We were there for three nights. Good location for other amenities - restaurants, shopping etc. Very clean - pleasant and helpful staff.

Maybe I expect too much from a hotel, but I was not satisfied with this hotel. For starters, the people working at the front counter were brisque -- when I was checking in, the female employee was texting on her phone...I had to wait a minute or two while she finished her personal business. They also didn't even give me a receipt when I checked out! […] The area where the ice machine was located was disgusting -- the floor was sticky for the entire 24 hours we were there. (It looked like someone spilled something and no one cleaned it up.) Our trashcans in the room were also full with trash when we checked in. The hotel room itself was okay. The bed was decent to sleep on, but the room was quite small. We had two adults, one teenager, and a toddler staying in the same room and it was difficult to maneuver the room -- the location of the desk and chair made it impossible. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza the next night and had plenty of room...and paid less money! The surrounding area is nice, but it is not as close to shopping as other places are. Lisez la suite

I stayed here while attending a 3-day convention at the Pennsylvania Convention Center because I got a rate less than half of any available rooms downtown. This hotel is 1 1/2 miles from the Lindenwald Station on the PATCO high speed line, which got me to Philadelphia within 5 blocks of the Convention Center in 30 minutes for a round-trip train fare […] of less than half of what it would have cost to park a car in the city for 12 hours. Parking is free at the Lindenwald station. Pro's of the hotel: 1) The front desk staff were competent and attentive; 2) The room was clean and well-maintained; 3) A fast-start breakfast buffet is available; 4) Access to Phila via the PATCO high-speed line was very convenient and money-saving. Con's: 1) The walls are paper thin. Every flush, every TV, every conversation in every direction intrudes into your room and your sleep; 2) The windows don't open, and the room was a little stale which couldn't be overcome; 3) The door keys would not open the outside doors. I would reccomend this hotel and would stay in it again. Clean rooms, good service, basic but good breakfast. Good rates. I would reccomend and will stay at the hotel next year same time.

We have been here before, but this has been under unusual circumstances. With a death in the family while we where here, the manager Phil has been very professional, sympatheic, and compassionate. My wife also had an encounter with a female feront desk employee(we can't remember her name) during the morning that handle us extending our stay due to the […] funeral so well, that my wife turned to me and stated that they will always get our business. The hotel was ok and the general atmosphere was pleasant. It is somewhat far from the main highway and at nights the road could be frightening if you are not familar with the area. More hotel directional signs will be helpful.

Very nice hotel great price, clean, very friendly staff, kid friendly, would stay at this facility again if in the area. Restaurants and shopping close by, 20 minutes to get into Philadelphia.

This hotel was a great place to stay. I found the employees friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. You are close to all activities and shopping. A great place to stay.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice to enjoy after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast had good choices and the food was good. It was a little bit of a drive to the sights at Philadelphia, but not bad. The quality of the place coupled with the great price made it well worth it.

great location with lots of restaurants nearby, clean room, clean and spacious lobby and breakfast area, free parking, friendly staff. They could make the breakfast spread better by serving a couple of types of fresh fruit.

We stayed at Wingate for 4 nights. The 1st night we noticed brown markings on comforter. Told person at desk about it the next moring and all our bedding was replaced. The free breakfast each morning was always stocked with complete line of foods offered. Bed was comfprtable, room clean, service good.
