Westayed for two nights this past weekend. Hotel staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Room was one of the smaller ones we've been to. Neither of us slept very well since the beds are so hard. Breakfast is good, but it does get crowded after 8am. The hotel is 2.5 miles from the boardwalk and family kingdom. Great place to stay! Great location and very clean and comfortable

It's a Best Western not a the Ritz. The rooms were a pleasant surprise. Oven with range cooktop, almost full fridge/freezer, and sink. The bed was nice and everything in the room was really clean. The beach is just across the street, I had absolutely no problems and was really happy with my stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room including the stove and frig. No bugs were seen anywhere during our visit! The multi story, water front building where we stayed had an elevator - thank you!! Very comfortable beds with lots of clean fluffy pillows, loved it! Our "Do not disturb" sign was actually honored. Not usually the case at other hotels. […] Two pools, well maintained. EV friendly hotel: 110v/20 amp outlet around back on maintenance office. Ensure you ask before plugging in! Breakfast was included, 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Fresh waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, muffins, juice, milk, etc. Get there early. I was in Myrtle Beach to attend a workshop, but the hotel for the conference was not on the beach. My husband and I decided to stay here and are so glad we did. We stayed in the portion across the street from the beach but it was super easy to get to the beach and the indoor pool in the other portion of the hotel. The staff was fantastic. They were […] friendly and courteous and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. There were waffles, biscuits with gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, pastries, juice, basically something for everyone. You could tell the building was older, but it was well maintained and very clean. The bed and pillows were all comfortable. Parking was okay, but could get crowded. The hotel is surrounded by some nice and not so nice hotels, but it felt safe. My husband never leaves comments or reviews, but he did on their comment card saying how nice it was. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the continental breakfast is very satisfying. I would suggest others to stay as I plan to go back next year.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach side of the hotel. You're just steps away from the beach which you can enjoy viewing, if you prefer, from your own porch or simply walk the short distance to the beach itself. We also very much enjoyed the quiet that the beach side gave us.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It appears to have been recently remodeled. The staff was friendly and helpful at every turn. The free continental breakfast was a little crowded, but the servers were extremely pleasant and efficient.

I literally had to kick the door to get into the room. Very little parking and the hotel taxes where ridiculous. The room was OK once we managed to get inside but I would not stay there again. For that price I could have stay somewhere much much nicer.

Hotel very clean, great location for hanging out on the beach, and an awesome staff that made the trip more convenient then I could of hoped. Checked in by a friendly gentleman, and checked out by the most beautiful smile in Myrtle Beach. Thank You Stacey.

Absolutely great if you have kids with you. Rooms have a little salt water stress on them if you know what that means but it is clean. Don't expect 4 or 5 stars but if you have kids the convenience is great. Very good service too.

Close to beach and many attractions. You do have to cross the street to get to beach. Had a comfortable stay and breakfast staff was excellent.

My wife and I liked the location - away from the busiest part of town, but easy to drive to Broadway at the Beach, etc. Continental breakfast was good, easy access to beach and pool was nice. Hotel employees were friendly, room was clean. We would definitely stay there again.

its downtown, too much noise, and people r up till 4 am. so, if this is ur thing, then I would recommend the hotel. if you like to sleep at midnight, then u will hate it.

I found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. Great amenities: indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, parking, internet, cable, AND breakfast! The staff was courteous and friendly. While the street you need to cross to get to the beach can sometimes have lots of traffic, I didn't find this particularly inconvenient but I guess it could get annoying […] if you are coming and going from your hotel a lot. although the section of the hotel I stayed in was not on the ocean the friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room more than made up for it. I will stay there again and will recommend it to anyone who asks.

I rarely take the time to right a review, but since I chose the Best Western in Myrtle Beach because of other reviews, I feel compelled to write one myself. After driving 8 hours to get to Myrtle Beach, I was quite happy to be greated by a very friendly desk attendant, Jack. After quickly checking me in, Jack quickly ran down the list of ammenities […] of the Hotel. Jack explained where the indoor and outdoor pools were located on a map, where the luggage carts where and the easiest route to the elevator. How to log on to their free wifi, and the short list of lose rules of the hotel such as no bottles in the pool area. though out the week, Jack stoped us in passing to find out how our stay was going, provided suggestions on where to eat. In short, everyone was very friendly. The room was very clean with working appliances that included cable TV, microwave, mid-size refridgerator, coffee pot and hair dryer. The beds were comfortable, sheets replaced daily as well as towels and washcloths if left on the floor of the bathroom. I did have alittle trouble working the thermostadt, but as the weather was quite comfortable, I just turned the ac off when it got too cool. The pool was well maintained and not over clorinated. The hot tub was "Hot!", and the lazy river was very relaxing. I did not use the indoor pool or hot tub on the beach front property and it appeared while walking though, that not too many people did. The free continental breakfast was outstanding. Every morning,from 6-9:30 am, a full time attendant for set the breakfast up and break it down. My favorite item was the hot, self-serve waffle maker. In two minutes, Hot breakfast! They also provided, orange, able and tomato juice. Hot coffee, hot water for tea, Milk for a variety of cereal, oatmeal, muffins and pastries, as well as fresh fruit. Arrived alone, sons to meet me following day, I was instructed to park on the side or around back. It was dark and only one other car parked. I did not feel safe alone. This was remedied the following day after speaking to the manager. Then the room was not cleaned the second day, this was brought to housekeeper twice during the day and to front desk […] clerk in the evening upon return. Not even a follow up phone call. The room was nice and clean. It seemed to have been recently updated. However, I did not sleep at all the one night I stayed. The air conditioning unit in room 1128 certainly was missed in the upgrading. It was like a Mack truck coming through, on off all night. Parking seemed a bit tight, but adeqate.

All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We were not expecting a hot breakfast, but the waffles were great. We would staff here again.

I make the reservation online and went by the pixs on the website, a little deceptive.One building is oceanfront the others are across the street. For the price I paid, it was great though. Only a short walk across the street to the beach and in a very quiet section of Ocean Blvd. The room was adequate, it was clean. The gentlemen at the front desk […] in the morning were very helpful and lively. The ladies in the evening/night were less than hospitable, and after a 4 hour drive...that's the last thing I wanted to deal with. but maybe they had a long day like I did.
