Super 8 Joppa - Joppa

Needed a bed to sleep in for the night before a seatrial for the purchase of a boat. Drove up to the Super 8 which had an attractive pond in front of the building. The lodgings were comfortable and clean, and the bathroom fixtures were relatively new and of good quality. The bed was medium soft (the way I like it), the room had a microwave and refrigerator, […] the TV and AC/Heat both worked well. The only thing that could have been better would be a new bedspread (a little worn and dated). Overall, a great place to stay and would stay there again if I had business in the area. Lisez la suite

Cool location and nice service. Breakfast was great.

The bed was broken and the room was unkempt when we arrived. Every 30 minutes or so a very loud noise like a chainsaw would go off, keeping us from getting a good nights sleep.

Don't stay at this hotel. Indifferent staff. Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Carpeting is 10 years past replacement date. Bathroom sink breaking away from the wall. A/C unit noisy (it rattled and whistled all night long). Continental breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about.. I was very disappointed and will not stay here again.

If you're expecting a 5 star hotel...keep driving. For the money I thought it was great. Rooms are older, but housekeeping kept them clean. Not the worst continental breakfast I've had..but with the money you save you can afford to go out if you're not happy with it.

We were traveling with our 7 month old son. We requested a non smoking room, and were told that our room had "recently been converted into non-smoking" (read: had formerly been a smoking room). It reeked of stale smoke, and still had an ashtray in it. We asked to be moved to a room that had always been smoke-free (I have asthma), and all they could […] give us was a room with two double beds. The girl at the front desk seemed annoyed by our request. The carpet in our room was FILTHY! Our son spit up a little on the floor, and when I went to wipe it up, the rag came back black. I refused to let our baby crawl around on it, so he had to spend the evening confined to his pack-n-play. We didn't eat at the buffett breakfast, but it looked pretty unappetizing (and I am not, by any means, a food snob). If you just need a place to lay your head for the night, this hotel would suffice, but don't expect much more than that. Lisez la suite

great place i woulden lie to you i dont even know you

It was a Super8. We selected it for the price for a single overnight stay. It met our needs, but there are other hotels in better shape and in better neighborhoods for the same or close to price. For my next stay in the Baltimore area, we picked another hotel in Timonioum, just north of the city. I won't stay at this property again.

I lied the rom and liked the fact it had a duck pond there. The ducks were very fun to feed.I am planing on going back. The room suprised me for the money I did not think it would be that nice.

While I wasn't expecting anything wonderful from a cheap room intended for a 6 hour stop, this hotel fell short of even my low expectations. Two things stood out. The bed was very uncomfortable and the small refridgerator was unplugged (to save energy costs) so was useless unless you plan to stay for several days. Additionally, the blanket on the bed […] was uncomfortable and old. While the room was cheap, it should at least be moderately comfortable and the bedding somewhat newer and comfortable. Surprisingly, the room I spend the weekend in, in Boston, was a full suite, cheaper, and far beyond the level of upkeep of this small basic hotel off the interstate. Lisez la suite

A nice and very silent locality.... I found it too silent for my liking ...(maybe coz I'm a city guy) It was clean and the staff were responsible and helpful ... Good for the money I spent

My husband and I stay at this motel often, because it is such a homey, down to earth place. We love to feed the geese at the lake. The rooms are clean, service is excellent, and it is quiet. I felt like this mattress was simply 2 box springs put together. It was not a queen as they said. The hotel was dirty, the safe didnt work, the lights were almost nonexistent, The curtain was falling off the wall and it was DIRTY. We had prepaid through hotels.com but they tried to charge us again as we checked out.
