"The Ridges Resort and Marina"
came for an anniversary getaway. One night was perfect, close to Atlanta. Enjoyed the restaurant and rooms were nice. The bonfire under the stars was nice!
"Ridges Resort, Hiawassee GA"
Restaurant served great food at competitive prices. Happy hour was a surprise bargain and our room was clean and quiet. Be sure to reserve a room with lakeside view. The alternative is to look out over their parking lot.

"The Ridges Resort and Marina"
Hotel lobby common areas were very comfortable and cozy especially on a winter's night. Considering the price charged for the rooms I would have like to have seen a flatscreen TV and more updated bathroom (jacuzzi bathtube) in the rooms. The property and scenery is beautifully nestled in the GA mountains on lake Chatgue...although the lake levels were […] severly low during our winter visit it still made for a nice get away. I will return. Lisez la suite

"Wonderful Place to Stay"
We stayed for two nights. My wife loved sitting by the fire each night and reading. The view was spectacular. Would highly recommend this place to anyone
"Great hotel, BUT paper thin walls"
The hotel is really nice, well kept and in a beautiful area. The only problem is the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room.
"Wonderful, Warm & Peaceful"
It was a last minute decision to go away for a couple nights and I stumbled upon the hotel on the internet and SO SO glad I did. The staff were so friendly and professional. VIcki who we mainly encountered was one of those people who you could clearly see she takes such pride in her job and enjoys having guests. We felt like we were welcomed in to […] her personal home when arriving back at the hotel we were greeted by her telling us she had warm cider and cookies. We look forward to returning in the Spring or Summer to enjoy the lake. Lisez la suite

"Kinda eh..."
For it's many stars, I thought this hotel would be fabulous. It was just a plain ol' hotel. I also thought it was set against rolling hills/mountains/lake vista, etc. as advertised on the website. They left out that it sits directly on a four lane divided highway.
"This is no Resort, More like a Road Side Motel"
The Ridges Resort & Club This roadside Motel completely misrepresents itself as being a 3 Star Resort. Their website is completely false advertising. Here’s a run-down. I hope you get the picture: * The check-in process was not what you would expect at a so-called 3- Start Resort. There was not a door person or a single person that could assist in […] the check-in. All we got was a snarky “What can I do for You”. “You room is not Ready” As we waited for our allotted check-in time, all you can hear in the lobby was country music blaring from the back-office and the gossiping and complaining from the property personnel. When I inquired about the room location, which was next to the lobby, and inquired whether this can be changed, it was a terse reply “I do not think so, People are in those rooms that you want” * The so-called “Lakeview room”, that you pay extra, is a visual view of a dingy marina of boats. What about the plastic cups in the room -is this Motel are a Resort I wondered. * On the website, it indicates “peaceful shores of Lake” If you think you are escaping to the mountains, -Wrong, you can hear the traffic from off the busy road. Not so peaceful. * What 3 Star Resort has a concierge desk with piles of printouts of local real estate deals or a dirty commercial trashcan in the middle of the lobby? * What 3 Start resort’s continental breakfast consists of fruit-loop cereal dispensers, and day-old don-nuts? All this for $180.00 a night. A total disappointment for the price. Lisez la suite
