Sheraton Desert Oasis - All Villa Resort - Scottsdale

Il s'agit plus d'un time share resort que d'un hôtel. Le concierge n'est là que pour vous vendre des services de sociétés locales. Les chambres sont très sombres. Belle piscine.

The property is clean and the staff is friendly, however the units are a bit dated and they are very small. The one bedroom uncomfortably accomodates 4. The location is ok if you aren't looking to be very close to downtown or old town. If your trip is for youth baseball the location is central to most Scottsdale venues.

Great Rate, Great Room, Great Time. Restaurants too far away, and although the pool restaurant was good, after a few meals it got old.

This was a very nice alternative to the typical hotel stay, as it is one of the 'time share' properties of Sheraton. The villa consisted of a roomy bedroom, not bad kitchen space and table for four, and a smallish living area, plus outside balcony and seating for 4-6. Bathroom was very large. Furniture was comfortable and tasteful, and a washer/dryer […] stack came in handy. Except for a pool, I didn't have time to use all the amenities, which are plenty, and so are the activities. I'm not sure if the unit was part of a 'time share' or part that they use as a hotel, but it was very nice. The only problem that some may have is that there is nothing close by to walk to (although I don't know who would want to in the heat of Phoenix) but shopping and restaurants are only about a 5 minute drive away, and the main artery around the area, the 101, is close and makes it very easy to get about the whole metro area. We moved from Sdale around 7 yrs ago. The area has grown significantly and the location of this site was perfect. We weren't aware that it is also a member of vacation ownership club for Sheraton and were very pleased with all amenities that came with that status. Rooms were large, price and service were excellent. A large duststorm came through Phoenix […] one night during our stay and they had the pool area ready to go by end of next day. Next time, they should put some hoses out to the parking lots for guests to spray the dirt off vehicles. Otherwise, a delightful stay and a terrific value. Lisez la suite

Is an Oasis. We traveled from Pennsylvania to Arizona for a wedding. We wanted to make the trip a mini vacation. We definitely choose the right Resort. The pool area was beautiful, the front desk staff were very accomodating and the snack bar attendant was helpful to my family. We were only one of a few families that were guests. This property was located close to where I needed to be for five days in northern Scottsdale, and the price that I paid per night - thanks to Hotels.com - was great for the market considering this was a separate bedroom "villa". This is a small resort type property with a smaller sized pool area that was pleasant. The standard format, small villa I […] was renting was a little tight but much better than a hotel room...A separate bedroom, nice TVs, large bathroom and a kitchenette area stocked with pots / pans / silverware / etc was nice, even if a little dated. Plus each villa had a balcony. My first room was a nightmare tucked in between two larger buildings with a giant tree outside the balcony that did not allow you to even see the sky. I asked for a room change and had to pay a $30 cleaning fee to do so because I stayed in the room that first night. The second room (on the third floor) was also bad ... The entire room vibrated and had a loud hummmm in it that did not allow me to sleep. At 3:00 AM, after figuring out that the large electrical transformer attached to the building just below my balcony was causing the problem, I called the front desk to let them know what was going on and that I needed to make another room change. The person working the desk was terrific, offered to find a room for me right then if I wanted (I declined) and promised to move me that morning, which they did for no cleaning charge this time. The staff was very nice and professional throughout my stay. The next room was great and the rest of the trip was fine. The only downside I had was that there is not a real restaurant or bar on the property, and you have to hop on the nearby highway to get to one ... There are many great ones close by. Though my stay was OK I probably would try somewhere new the next time ... Lisez la suite

We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and we were disappointed. The room was very small. The bed was uncomfortable. The toilet was leaking and it dripped water onto the bathroom floor everytime you flushed it. We could hear people talking in the room next to us, and you could hear people moving around above us. We left Sedona 2 days earlier because of the nasty T-storms. We saw this place on the internet after searching and decided to book online. When we arrived at the resort, it was more than what we expected. Having the washer / dryer in the unit really made the difference. Our patio was nice, bed comfortable and villa room outstanding. This was a great hotel for the long weekend. We spent most of the time in the pool, which the kids loved. A waterfall and kids play area just made the pool that much better. The suite was nice because the sleeping room was separate from the rest of the rooms. Bathroom was HUGE. We used the kitchen area to make meals and had plenty of room. We will […] be back for sure! We went for a quiet weekend away for my hubby's birthday. GREAT place to stay, decent drink prices at the pool and friendly staff. The only thing missing is a sit-down restaurant on the property. The pool bar/grill did have good food though!

Upon checking into my room, I had about two minutes of quiet until the young children of the family next door starting screaming and playing. It was so loud and boisterous (that's how kids are) that I called the front desk and asked to be moved. Kimberly at the front desk worked very diligently with me until we found an appropriate room solution. Though […] they were busy (I believe they were very close to capacity) she was patient, helpful, completely charming and understanding and worked with me until we solved my problem, eventually putting me in an upper floor, larger room (small upgrade fee which I suggested - not Kimberly) that I absolutely loved for the next three days. Quiet, clean, very nice rooms, full kitchen, full size stove, microwave and refrigerator, dishwasher, jetted tub, king size bed, comfy couch and lots of cable channels, easy parking, COLD pool which is great when it is 115 outside - much better than the resort hotel I moved from and more reasonable. I applaud Kimberly and the Sheraton Desert Oasis for their exemplary customer service. Kudos to you! I will stay here again without hesitation. Lisez la suite

The pool is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only problem that we encountered was the Grill area that serves food is very limited on hours. For example, you can only order food off the regular menu until 4:00 pm, then you can ONLY get chicken and fries from 4-5:30 pm. We chose to stay at the Sheraton Desert Oasis because we had stayed there two years ago and really enjoyed our experience. Our second stay was not as enjoyable. First, there was a lot of construction going on, including paving the parking lots and resurfacing the pool. One of the things we had loved about the Sheraton was the pool so we were extremely […] disappointed to find out that it would be out of commission nearly our entire trip. The resurfacing of the lots meant certain areas were blocked off, so finding parking was also difficult. We would have liked to have been informed of these things before we checked-in. We also signed up to learn about the Vacation Ownership program, and were told it would be a "no pressure" situation. While the sales person we met with (for 2 hours!) was very friendly and understood that we were not interested in purchasing, the same could not be said for the woman we had our "exit interview" with. She definitely tried to guilt us into buying something and looked almost angry when we firmly said "no". Overall, we did not spend much time at the hotel other than to shower or sleep and we definitely would not stay there again. Lisez la suite

The Desert Oasis is not your average hotel! It is a wonderful alternative to home away from home. The bedroom was beautifully cozy, the kitchen perfect and laundry facilities in the room is over the top!

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Has a lovely swimming pool area and lots of shopping areas nearby. Had a very relaxing stay.

A great resort at an unbelievable price. Can't wait to go back again. The one bedroom villa was spacious and modern with every convenience you could want.

This is one of the best values in the Scottsdale area. For what you get, it is unbeatable. We got a full bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with a pull out bed, kitchen, full bath, laundry room, etc. There were so many ammenities - can't be beat. Highly recommended if you plan to work/play in Scottsdale.

The hotel had a nice pool area and the rooms were very clean. There were some maintenance issues such as a strong smell of gas, you could not take a bath because the shower stayed on, and the facet dripped in the sink. I could live there. Wish we were there longer. SOOOO HAPPY with this wonderful resort. The Front Desk Staff was very nice and helpful. Would have been nice to have a restaurant on site for those who do not want to leave because we did not want to leave it was so great. we got a great rate and took a chance on this hotel as it was slightly out of town. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the resort, right off of the freeway and a max of only 15 - 20 mins from everything we wanted to visit. Plently shopping very close by. Staff very welcoming and complex spotless. Beautifully landscaped with fantastic pool/leisure […] area. Was there on business. The hote was beautiful. Would definitely schedule again. My only regret is that I was not able to enjoy the amentities due to work schedule.

If you have transportation and want the "best deal in town" this is your place. I stay on business come in for a week a month, and having kitchen and simple one bedroom is terrific. There is limited food after 5:00, but in North Scottsdale each block is filled with options. Great place for the money!

I enjoyed the amenities in the 1 bedroom my family and I stayed in. The unit contained a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and a bedroom with a jacuzzi. The location in Scottsdale is central to the restaurants, shopping, and the airport.
