Nous étions en famille dans ce condominion, dans une chambre un peu en retrait qui appartient à une famille américaine. La décoration était telle qu'on se sent chez soi très vite, très vintage hawaiien, avec des photos de famille, livres, albums photos... Un charme fou. Très bien équipé et ventilé, pas besoin de clim. Aucun stress, c'était parfait et accueillant.

Bon hôtel. Nous avions une suite avec cuisine équipée, frigo, toaster, cuisinière, ...vaisselle. Coin salon avec TV et banquette. Chambre indépendante. SDB et WC. Hotel en retrait de la mer mais à 100 m de la plage. Ce qui évite le bruit des vagues toute la nuit. Plusieurs piscines dans l'hôtel, car composé de plusieurs batiments. Parking privé mais non gardé,gratuit sur place.

""Great resort for Whale watching""
Jan 11, 2013 thru Jan 23, 2013, the oceanfront unit we stayed in had a prefect view of the ocean, which we totally enjoyed. The unit is in need of a major upgrade the furniture is the original stuff right out of the 70’s. Although, this was our second visit for thirteen days and we stayed at the same Condo because of the prefect view. "Comfortable condo"
This was actually not a hotel, but a 2br/2ba condo located in a residential community in Princeville. It has its own kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. For the price, we felt that this was a really great place to stay. We were there in the winter time, so the lack of AC was absolutely not an issue. We had a very pleasant stay at Pali Ke Kua. This is private apartments (we understand) and thus not a hotel per say. I suppose each place is different but the overall standard was good even though some things in our place was a bit old. "Room with a view"
Accommodations were a 4 but the view was a 5+. The sunsets from the patio were superb. Unit was not fancy but comfortable, bed very comfortable. "Comfortable condo in a great setting"
The condo was fine but nothing special, but the view was spectacular. It was perfectly comfortable, though a little old. The light in the bathroom didn't come on sometimes. "Worst hotel experience in kauai"
I had high expectations given the online pictures, price and location. This hotel was a big let down. The condo has not seen a remodel since the early 90's (or a complete cleaning for that matter). We purchased an ocean front room but only recieved a partial ocean view. The room was very hot and did not have ac or adequate ventilation. "Paradise Found"
This condo was located in Paradise! We loved all the greenery in Princeville, the gorgeous landscaping at our condo, the short distance (steep walk) to Hideaways Beach, and the cliffs were breathtaking. "A couple days in Princeville"
Though the buildings remind you of the 70's, the view is AWESOME! We couldn't have gotten a better view of the sunsets and Hannelei Bay. This is supposed to be the wetter part of the island, but we were fortunate and didn't get any rain. The place was comfortable and furnishings were adequate. Hotels. com needs to inform you about this hotel. First of all it is not a hotel. It is a group of condominiums without handicap accessibility. I had to walk up three stories to get to my unit. "This is not a hotel - it's a condo"
This is not what they advertise. I thought I was booking a hotel but this is a condo with no hotel service. I did not get my room cleaned on a daily basis (service not provided), my internet and half of the electric outlets in the apartment were not working and there was no one to fix it during the entire stay. I paid for a hotel room and got a cheap […] vacation rental. I would not recommend this to anyone. For the money I paid go to a real hotel or to a vacation rental for half the money. "Great view, shabby accommodation"
The situation in respect of vista was wonderful. The condo was very shabby and not completely clean. Facilities were basic and poor, ancient equipment and, for example, only three mugs. Reception was open only sporadically and this was very inconvenient, especially when trying to check out. "Amazing!!"
We were looking for a reasonably priced condo for a week stay for a family wedding and found the Castle. It is hard to find, as they still had signs up for the previous owner name, but the condo was clean and beautiful. There is a grocery store nearby and many other conveniences within a few minutes. We decided to get the mountain view and it was AMAZING!! […] The complex was very quiet and felt quite safe. All rooms had ceiling fans and there were vents on every wall. The bathrooms were very spacious and clean. My family was staying all around and all commented on how beautiful our condo was. A great value, and wonderful stay! I look forward to returning! The photo shows a pool but upon arrival we were told the pool was not for the unit we had booked but for the more expensive units. The location is good but you will need to drive a few miles for beach access since you are on a cliff. We had a lower unit and could hear every step our upstairs neighbor took. "Great for a family get away"
The condo was good but next time I would specify beach view, mountain view was limited. Make sure you arrive when staff is there during their normal business hours as after hours arrival was difficult. Could use some AC but cooled off at night. Oh my gosh make sure you go to the beach at the end of the highway for great easy snorkling, bring your gear. […] The hike to the falls at that beach was awesome but difficult 8 mile round trip. The area was really cool, and has a hawaiin tropical feel. Not too expensive compared the other islands we stayed on. Check out bubbas for a burger. Pleanty of beaches where you could be all alone. My only complaint was when we got delayed and arrived around midnight, we spent the better part of an hour trying to find this hotel, as there was no sign "Castle at Princeville". Once we drove up and down the correct street about 5 times, we tried to go off of the street address only to find that we couldn't find many places that indicated their street […] number on their property. Resorting to stopping in every single complex, we finally stumbled across a closed office with "The castle" on the door, and were able to get our keys through a lock box. Office hours are from 9 to 5, and there is no help in trying to find this place….ALL that aside, the room was great, very comfy, very large, and a great location. For future travelers you may use the following directions in helping you find our office. Driving Directions: Our office is located in the Princeville Resort at Pali Ke Kua in the first parking lot on the right. From the Lihu'e Airport, turn right at the stop light exiting the airport. Drive North about 30 miles or approximately 1 hour of driving time. Turn right into Princeville (Do NOT pass the Chevron station). Drive about 1-3/4 miles into Princeville and watch for the "Pali Ke Kua" sign on your right, make that right into the property. Our office is located in the first building on your right. We are open Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm, Weekends and holidays our hours are limited.

The unit itself was great. I requested a one bedroom mountain view and received two bedrooms, each with a living room area at the cottages (Rm. 101). We had a nice long deck in the back but there was no view. A forest right behind the deck and a lot of mosquitos. We couldn't use the deck because of the mosquitos and were still eaten alive by them. There […] is also no air conditioning and if I knew we had no access to the pool (which was across the road) I wouldn't have booked this condo. We will definitly never stay here again. "Great relaxing place"
This was wonderful. We were greeted each morning to a gaggle of Nene (the Hawaiian state bird and very endangered species). The condo was just right not fancy but clean and comfortable with an amazing view. You must spring for the ocean view. The beach is a great snorkeling beach, we never had more then 10 people to share it with. The kitchen was fine […] and we were able to make everything we wanted (I might bring a sharp knife next time). The staff was friendly and helpful. "Wonderful home away from home"
Princeville is beautiful and the accommodations were beyond our expectations. We booked a 1 bedroom but found a master bedroom with private bath, a living room and kitchen area with two sofas, and an upstairs loft with a twin bed and trundle bed beneath it. Wow! Also the washer and dryer was very handy and we didn't have to pack as many clothes knowing […] it was available to do laundry there. The Castle property was quiet and very beautiful. Next time we will upgrade to an ocean-view room though, because the view is absolutely beautiful! We went in March and saw whales breaching out at sea. One drawback to the Castle is that it sits on a hill above the ocean and you can't just run out the back door to the beach. We were very surprised to be assigned villas when we booked something called the 'Castle'. They were 2 bedrooms and 2 baths but only 1 person stayed in each of the villas. We could have shared a villa had we known. The pool was nice and the location was close to Princeville. One of the villas overlooked a beautiful garden. "Incredible View but Horrible Bed"
I believe these are individually owned condos that are rented out as hotel rooms. First the good news, this condo/hotel was at an excellent location with one of the most incredible views overlooking the bay. Its a beautiful, million dollar location right on the cliffs with both ocean and mountain views. Absolutely wonderful to wake up to in the morning […] then watch the sun set in the evening. The room was big and the kitchen was nice and clean as well. However, the owners did not continue that beautiful trend inside the bedroom. It was as if they spent all their money on the beautiful location and in their rush to rent it out, filled it with cheap furnishings they found at a garage sale. Cheap (full size) mattress, rough starchy sheets, tiny tv and couch. When you’re spending good money to rent an romantic ocean view room, you expect the bedding to be halfway decent instead of an afterthought. There was nothing comfy or relaxing about it. Trotz Buchung eines Bergblick-Zimmers bekamen wir ohne Aufschlag ein Zimmer mit Meerblick weil das Hotel wohl nicht voll war. Zu diesem Zimmer gehörte eine Terasse mit einem unglaublichen Blick auf die Bucht. Ein großartiger Start für unseren Urlaub.Avis véridique Expedia
