Would stay there again. Really appreciated the valet parking and personal service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Central location.
"Last minute room on a long weekend"
I booked this room last minute on a long weekend and thought it was a decent price for the timing/location. Moderate free continental breakfast, couldn't get the wifi to work. Nice staff, clean hotel. Parking was $18 extra in underground parking.
"Listel hotel - perfect for a focus on skiing"
Convenient location to the lifts; very accomodating and pleasant staff. Comfortable and clean even though a little faded. Perfect for a brief trip to ski.

"Within walking distance of ski lifts ....."
Great location, very comfortable room & friendly staff. The only negative is the terrible breakfast that they serve ..... white bread, sugar tarts, hard boiled eggs & watery coffee. They'd be better off to NOT offer a free breakfast with the room!

"The Listel Hotel Whistler"
The Listel Hotel Whistler offers pleasant accommodation at reasonable rates. The breakfast is perfectly fine, and for free you really cannot complain. The staff is helpful - they even let me store my skis there for a couple of weeks until my next stay. Location is spot-on, right in the middle of the village, just a couple of minutes from the lifts. If […] I could complain about anything, it would be the fact that the room we stayed in had a door connecting ours to the adjacent room, which meant that we could hear noises from that room quite clearly. All in all though, I would definitely recommend this hotel! Lisez la suite
Superb location, decent price compared to other hotels in the village.
"Good location & customer service."
This hotel is centrally located and it is extremely convenient and close to everything. The customer service at the front desk is excellent. Room cleaning service is prompt. But but but ... The hotel really really needs a good renovation. Carpets are dead and smelly - altho I do understand its a skii resort so people do wear their gears around. The […] furnitures are old and out dated and the washroom requires some changes also... Start with the vent (too noisey - not even working) and the shower head (it went hot and cold water - not very comfortable). I would recommend this hotel only because of the location and customer service. Don't expect too much from the room and the hotel itself. Thanks for reading. Lisez la suite
"Good enough for us!"
We stayed here over Boxing Day and chose Listel Hotel as we knew it wouldn't be too snooty and as we had our dog. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful with all of our questions. They sent out my brother's snowboard to be tuned up before we hit the mountain the next day, which had them sending it out to another place, having it tuned, and sent back. […] Very convenient for us! Thank you for helping us enjoy our holiday season, Listel Hotel! Lisez la suite
"Good hotel for the price"
Good hotel for the price, compared to surrounding Whistler locations. Garage was cheaper than Westin and comfortable. Room had a funny smell (similar to cat urine), but it dissipated after awhile. Beds were comfortable and shower was good. Overall a reasonable place if you're not too picky.
"Listel"
A well situated hotel that is close to the ski lifts and restaurants but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep. The hotel is showing its age these days and needs new carpets and bathroom tiles. The only thing I did not enjoy was the short walk to the hot tub is down a narrow hallway. Meanwhile there are kitchen workers rushing across this hall […] as well and almost crashed into my small children. There are limited facilities in the shower rooms ie: no place for your clothes, no benches to sits on to dry off. There are no slippers nor gowns for the hot tub. I would recommend this hotel for people on a budget who are okay with a two star hotel and really want a deal. It does not compare with the nearby hotels. Lisez la suite
"The Listel Whistler BC- great stay"
We stayed for one night and thought it was such a great hotel for what we payed! Clean cozy rooms, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast till 10 am, great location. They did get rid of their outdoor heated swimming pool so they now only have a hot tub and sauna. The Barefoot Bistro was delicious. If you are used to getting large portions of food then […] don't opt for the 3 course, duck as a main. Perhaps order one dish from the menu. We would for sure stay there again! Loved it. "Listel Hotel- Location over View"
We stayed at the Listel for one night during the "off-peak" season. It was my first time in Whistler. I was impressed with the location as it's within easy reach of the mountains and village. It was a little disappointing that you couldn't see out of the jacuzzi as the windows were opaque. Nonetheless the sauna was adequate even though there were no […] lockers or shelves in which to put personal belongings. The staff at reception were very helpful but the breakfast staff were less than satisfying. On the whole we got good value for money but I would not completely whole heartedly recommend this hotel as the room was a little drab and old in places and the heating system was not very good as it blew out hot and cold air. The reception staff were great. Lisez la suite

"Listel Hotel - comfy and central"
It seems annoying to pay for parking, but I gather that this is normal in Whistler. There were some noisy occupants in nearby rooms, and in the street outside, on the Sat night of the long weekend. I was surprised we were not given back rooms as we had requested "quiet rooms". The rooms were clean with comfy beds and very good internet connections. […] The windows could be opened (a plus). The location is excellent, very close to the main village central area. Staff were helpful polite. The complimentary breakfast was basic, but the muffins were fresh and delicious, as was the fruit. "Listel Hotel in Whistler"
Overall, comfortable stay. Very quiet atmosphere. Breakfast included. I didn't like paying extra for parking car at the hotel. Parking for guests should be free.

"Listel Hotel in Wistler, B.C."
Had a few problems with front desk not making some things clear enough for us. Compilmentary breakfast not very good. Hot tub small and inclosed room. Hotel room clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of most everything. Our early October visit was between Whistler changing over from summer to winter. Gondala only runs on the weekends and weather […] was not very good. Golf will cost $100- clubs $50 and shoes $25 plus taxes. You have to pay to park everywhere. And taxes really add up. The food stores in the village are good places to go and get soup and sandwiches cheap. Over all a good day trip or one night stay. Unless you are doing alot of skiing or biking and hiking. The Visitors Center right at the border in Vancouvor was very helpful. Lisez la suite
the listel was great, front desk personnel wonderful, Zack the man who checked us in was real decent and very helpful the whole time (stay) i think it is worth staying here over and over again. everything is extremely close by. good pricing both weekday and weekend.
"Listel Hotel Whistler, BC"
Older hotel in Whistler Village was nice for location, but not comfort. Had two queen beds, one of which was so bad the springs could be felt and heard when my 190 lb husband tried to sleep on it. Mine was only slightly better (but I am lighter). Bathroom smelled soo badly of mildew that I could hardly stand it (made the whole room smell). Curtain was […] stained by something and carpet was not much better. Expected better in Whistler Village, even for an older less pricey hotel. Would not stay again :( Lisez la suite

"Listel Hotel in Whistler"
My only complaint, which is the usual for most hotels, is that the shower head spray is too light. I like a much more powerful spray head OR a shower head that can dial to several different spray configurations. Overall, this was a fine hotel.

"Parking situation"
I would not recommend this hotel to travellers with their own cars. The hotel does not advise that in the morning cars are only available with a long leadtime since they are all parked down in the garage blocking everyone's way. It took us an hour to reclaim our car. A deplorable situation the hotel does not advise of beforehand.

"LISTEL HOTEL - WHISTLER"
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was quiet, comfy and clean. The location is awesome, stepped outside, walked a few steps and there we were, right in the village, PLUS they have pet friendly rooms as well. Highly recommend this place.

"Good enough for the $$"
Nice staff, rooms clean. Could use some updates, not just cover ups. Great location, and overall a good, clean stay for your buck!
"A bit rough, but the location triumphs!"
I like the Listel Hotel in Whistler. It is comfortable and very well-located accommodations. The $18 charge for parking wasn't great, but oh well. Nice to know the car is safe and secure in a garage. The lobby and staff were nice. The decor was modern and the table for board games by the fireplace was a nice touch. Two computer terminals were available […] for patron use, too (perfect for printing out boarding passes). It appears The Listel is midway through a renovation...the lobby and common areas are quite nice, while our room was a bit dated and not quite on the same level as the common areas. The two queen beds were comfortable, but probably only for a couple of nights. The linens were nice and heavy cotton whites. The bathroom was...dim. Subtle lighting can be romantic...but all I wanted was a little more light, it was strange. The large screen TV (42" LCD) was a nice modern touch. The wireless was a nice thing to have, though it's performance was hit and miss. The speed was, at times, nearly dial-up speed, dead stopped at others, and full power and quick at others. I was frequently kicked off the wireless. The room was not the cleanest ever. The decor is probably 10+ years old, so that doesn't help. Stains in the carpet and dents in furniture don't make a place look any better, either. But those things didn't really affect our experience, the important things (bed and bath) were clean enough. So the location is well worth the few negatives of this affordable hotel. The 2 minute walk to the heart of the Village Stroll will keep The Listel on my list of great places to stay when I visit Whistler. Lisez la suite

"Budget Hotel with continental breakfast"
Hotel is in the back side of the village. Walkable distance to everything. We had issue with cooler/heater in the room and it was noisy so; didnt get good sleep. Parking is hassle even it is Valet because they keep your car keys and parking fee is huge. Best part is breakfast with this hotel.
"Listel hotel Whistler"
The hotel was perfect for us as we were only staying over for the one night. It was a five minute walk from all of the amenities. The gondola twin peak ride is a must !
"Nice hotel in nice location!!"
The hotel is located in the centre of village and it's close to everything I need. The room I stayed is clean, quiet and has great mountain view. For sure I will go back to the same hotel next time in Whistler!
carpet in room dirty - stains. a/c noisy.
