Hotel Bigallo - Florence

Upon arrival to the Hotel Bigallo there was a sign on the door stating that "guests arriving today are being redirected to the their partner hotel the Hotel DeLanzi only one block away". I rang the doorbell to get some explanation but no one answered so we hoofed it to the Hotel DeLanzi following the vague directions. Upon arrival to the hotel we were […] greeted with the story that the Hotel Bigallo was replacing their roof and it didnt get finished when they had hoped and arrangements were made to put their guests up here the DeLanzi. Actually my first impressions of the DeLanzi were better than the first impressions of hotel Bigallo. At the entrance of the Bigallo about 5 ft away was the garage/entrance of an Ambulance company. So... I wasnt too angry at moving to the DeLanzi. I have no knowledge of the Bigallo. The stay at the DeLanzi was fine, the room very small, the bathroom fine but not a shower stall, just a handheld shower head so washing hair was a bit hassle. I dont think the price was worth the money I paid to the Bigallo but I dont know what I would have had at the Bigallo either. Because of that I would not recommend the Bigallo. Lisez la suite

a great place to stay especially if you're like most people who visit Florence "always on the go"!! It's not the most luxurios of places, but it does its job! A clean, comfortable little room that serves as a base when you're out visiting everything Florence has to offer. The hotel is a stone's throw from the Doumo...which is the only good thing about it. The entrance is off a side alley, the front desk help was not friendly (you have to leave and pick up your key every time you come and go), and the room is small and bare. You can't find a better location! Nice room, good staff.

During day time you cannot find a better location: right next to the Duomo. It allows you to go back to drop off shopping or rest for a few minutes and keep on exploring with no inconvenience. Plaza della Signoria, Ponte Vechio, Uffizi, Academia and even the train station (SMN) are within a few minutes walk. At night, and because the same advantage […] of being so close to the Duomo, it can get a bit noisy. If you are a light sleeper or cannot use earplugs and you have to leave the windows open since there is no air conditioning, you might have trouble sleeping. Bed and pillow while not the best, were comfortable enough. Room was clean in general but furniture and curtains were a bit old/dirty. The lady at the front desk in the morning was a bit rude. This hotel was very helpful, we drove to the hotel and they provided parking and a crib for my son to sleep in. The hotel is in the most perfect location situated by the Duomo and it was an easy walk to other great sites!

This is small,but nice hotel. One step away from the Dumo. Big and clean room. Very nice and polite service. On the down side - a simple and cold breakfest.

I loved everything about this hotel. I felt like at home there, staff was amazing, clean, good intenet, amazing location. Duomo was right in front my window...amazing... Perfect location! Across from the Duomo and a very short distance walk to other main sites as well as the train station. The room was very clean and perfect for our two night stay. At night, it was a little loud (a lot of ambulances), but otherwise everything was great and would stay here again.

This hotel faces the Duomo. You can't stay anywhere that will get you closer. Our room had an excellent view, but we were right next to the dining hall, which was loud in the morning. I only stayed here a night, but the price was good for the location, which was excellent--about 100 yards away from the Piazza Del Duomo. A very good hotel for a short (1-3 day) stay in Florence as you can quickly access the main sites in the city and the train station; all are within easy walking distance.

Sitio muy bueno justo al lado del duomo trato excelente. El desayuno frio pero todo muy bueno y de calidad. Lo recomiendo sobre todo para turismo cultural.

Muy buena ubicación, aunque la habitación es un poco pequeña, el baño es amplio. Todo muy limpio. Volvería a hospedarme en éste hotel.

このホテルは立地が最高です。 ホテルのラウンジの窓からはまじかにドォーモを見ることができます。 歴史を感じる古さと朝食がほかの3つ星ホテルと比べて劣るということはありましたが、立地が何よりいいので街歩きに疲れたらすぐホテルで休憩できることがとてもよかったです。 これほどの立地のホテルは周りを歩いても見当たらなかったので、次回フィレンツェを旅行した際もこのホテルに泊まりたいと思います。

ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, con meravigliosa vista sul duomo
