Clarion Hotel and Convention Center - Baraboo

First time we stayed, and will stay again. Very convenient, clean, lots to offer.

I stayed two different times in the same week. They were very prompt with free airport pickup and dropoff, the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

One-night getaway. I was very happy with the condition and cleanliness of our room. If you are looking for the Ritz, this isn't your place, but it had everything we wanted. It was clean, affordable, close to the casino and Tanger Outlet Mall (especially now with the new bypass). They offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning which met our needs, […] and included waffles, fruit, cereal and toast. The hotel is next door to a couple of bars so if you want to have a few drinks you can without having to worry about driving. We'll be back! Lisez la suite

Hotel is beautiful and much nicer than where we usually stay while in town - the Best Western directly across the street. The thing that made this place over the top was the PIZZA!! We were expecting the "usual" pizza when we were finally able to eat supper. What came was a spectacular looking AND tasting Pizza . They make everything fresh, including […] the dough. It is then baked in a wood fired brick oven. The quality of ingredients was evident, but the fresh basil ripped- not chopped because it'lll turn black- was what made all the other ingredients "Pop". We eat Pizza quite a bit on our travels since we retired. This Pizza, by far, was among the best we've ever had!! Oh, and thru this website, our room was $12 CHEAPER than Best western. Stayed here two nights with my two teen sons to go hunting. We chose the hotel because it had a pool and weight room. When we walked in, the clerk said that the pool was drained for painting, but the hot tub was open and functioning. The hot tub was also drained and being painted. In the weight room, the cables and pulleys were broken so we could not […] lift weights. A room service tray with stinky food and dirty plates sat in the hall on the first floor by door 2 for the entire weekend. I told my concerns to the clerk, just to make them aware, she took my name and phone for the manager to call me, it's been two days, no call. Lisez la suite

This hotel was conveniently located. It wasn't fancy but it had everything we needed. I would stay here again. The bed was comfortable and the price was right.

we were diappointed in the upkeep of the hotel. 1st night had to have the toliet unblocked the plumbing was very slow. The second day they came to clean the room all they did was give us more towels and make the bed. never touched the bathroom, we could tell by the hair still in the tub. We have stayed there before and it was so much better.

We took 2 grand daughters ages 7 and 12 .We looked for things to do in the area, and they were well satisfied with the pool and motel,we could have spent more time at the motel, they didn't have time to visit the game room.Room was small but very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was very close to Ho-Chunk and less expensive. Bathroom was dated, but very clean. The room was quiet even with all rooms booked. Would stay at this hotel again. Great value for the price.

I was very pleased with my stay. This is a great place to stay when you in Dells area.

Air conditioner did not work, the neighborhood was less than desireable, the breakfast was so, so. I would go out of my way to stay at another hotel. Staff was very friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Clarion Hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The chair with ottoman were a special surprise. Everything was good enough. But I do have a big concern about security. Every time we came in or out of door 2, a rock was holding the door open! It is supposed to be locked, and we are to use our room keys. I can only assume it was that way with all other doors. This is really not good at all. Please address this issue.

We decided not to stay in Wisconsin Dells during our 5 day vacation to the area and instead stayed at the Clarion in Baraboo. The commute was only 9 short miles and we saved a lot of money by staying outside the over-priced Dells area. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus! Very pleased with our stay!

Comfortable, clean rooms, and nice hall for weddings.

We stayed here based on the fact they had a pool and we were still close enough to the Dells to take advantage of the activities. It was a stormy morning when we woke up, so we decided to stay in and swim for the morning. Our 3 year old was very excited. However, part way into it, they came to clean the hot tub and pool. We lost about 45 min waiting […] for that to finish. It would have been nice if they could have done this during the time that the pool was closed. Other than that, the room was fairly clean and the pillows were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great too, eggs and salsa, belgium waffles, cereal and assorted pastries and fruit. We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Clarion. The room was nice and cool (on a very hot day it was really appreciated!), very clean and spacious and the beds and pillows were comfortable . It was quiet although the hotel was full, and the staff was wonderful. The restaurant attached offered a wide variety of food and was reasonably priced.

It took awhile to get a check in guy at the front desk, and the a/c in the halls was not working. I guess it's been out for awhile, because they had little blowers all over. Tile floor was very slick from condensation and a bit of a hazzard to younger kids and older adults. The room was nice, and we would stay again provided they solve the problems […] with the ac unit. WE WERE TOLD BY HOTELS.COM THAT IT HAD A FULL BREAKFAST. THAT WAS INCORRECT. WE ONLY HAD CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AND THAT WASN'T THE BEST.

Exclent stay--one big complaint is that the hot tob had NO presure--it was like a big bath tub with luke warm water.

we took this hotel over the casino hotel as it was almost half price and only 2 miles from casino. WHAT A GREAT DEAL. Place had a great pool. very clean and rooms were ggreat. definately will go back

This hotel exceeded my expectations for our stay. It was very clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The pool area was very nice, though the bathrooms in the pool area could really use an updating. The free breakfast was our only complaint, as it had pretty sad offerings. For a hotel with a restaurant in it, surely they could do a little […] better than what they do. The neighborhood may be it's downfall, because there's a bar next door and a lingerie shop behind, but there wasn't any excessive noise from the bar next door that I noticed. we had to be in the area overnight on short notice. this was reasonable, and the room was quite clean. they should replace some of the bulbs, as the lighting made the room feel drab. mediocre continental breakfast.

Everything good, as expected. Only the breakfast was not great.

This was a clean hotel that is easily within driving distance of the dells. The pool water was a little oddly colored but probably no big deal. We forgot our nice clothes hanging in the closet, but the hotel shipped them to us promptly and we had them within a week. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Overall, a good choice.

Clarion in Baraboo staff were very courteous. Room & pool were well maintained. Only complaint was that staff did not offer discounts on area attractions at check-in. We discovered discount availabilities posted in corridor. Unfortunately it was at end of our stay...

Stayed 3 nights, 15 minutes from Wisc Dells. Room was adequate and staff was nice. Problems were: beds caved in at the middle, should be replaced; AC was being dripped on by AC from floor above, made loud noise that was bothersome; CFL bulbs everywhere, which ordinarily is OK but not in the bathroom heat lamp (gave no heat) and the other bathroom bulb […] took several minutes to warm up, so it's extremely dim in there while you do your business; smallest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel room, barely enough room to turn around in; all the surfaces in the hotel restaurant were sticky; the free breakfast was mediocre, few items, unhygienic, so we didn't go again after the first day. We didn't go to the pool or game room on the 4th floor, so no comment on that. Not my worst hotel experience but not that great either. I would not visit again. Lisez la suite

This was close to the dells and we just needed a place to crash that had wifi. they have a pool but only the kids went in and they said it smelled funny. the hotel looks a little old but was sufficient for our needs. when we asked for a later checkout than 11am they let us stay til noon. it could have been that we were going into 4th of july weekend […] but really it was a wednesday night stay so...? Breakfast in the morning was ok. They did have a waffle maker, cereal, toast, bagels, milk, juice, coffee, and fruit. they had yogurt but not in single serve cups so depending on who gets there before you... overall it was ok...nothing fancy but would do in a pinch Lisez la suite

First time here and our family was very pleased. Easy access to room w/several convenient entrances & elevators. Late pool, steam room & jacuzzi hours + early opening were appreciated. Very nice room layout too. Adjacent restaurant (Glacier Rock) very good value too, but Continental Bkfst. fair-good w/fresh waffles. Only complaint was lack of towels […] @ 10pm by the pool complex w/noone answering at front desk...but there upon 7am return. Would definitely return. Lisez la suite

Good Hotel. Clean, nice and courteous staff.

Used this hotel with my family of 3 for 3 nights on business and family fun. They take pets which was important to us. Location was great for business and pleasure. Hotel was clean and accommodating. Continental breakfast wasn't much. Restaurant was good.

Nice, clean room. Hotel updated and clean. Great price and location. About a 15 min. drive to downtown dells. We will stay agian!
