We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was less than expected even for a Holiday Inn Express.

Friendly staff and a great view easily offset the tight halls and loud ice machine. Parking was tight. All in all, well worth the price

We like that the hotel was in South Daytona shores. We arrived early and the hotel staff called us to advise when our room was ready. Nice balcony and amazaing view. One problem was the air conditioner had leak so carpet was wet and room was musty. We did not care as it was such a beautiful weather we left our balcony door open. I have stayed here before but this time there was a roach in the shower......yuck!!!!!!!

Hotels.com pulled this up as a hotel that was at Daytona beach and close to main street but it was not in Daytona it was actually almost 5 miles outside of daytona

I was completely impressed with this Hotel. Had to take a second look to make sure I wasn't in the Emabasy Suites. Very good morning breakfast, Great service, Great location and a modern updated room. Highly reccommend staying at this Hotel. Would definately stay again and again.

The hotel was up to date in style and ultra clean. They brought an extra coy up to the room right away. The beds were very comfortable. I was pleased that there was a safe in the room.

The hotel staff were absolutley wonderful! They were always smiling, helpful, friendly. The manager was down to earth and friendly person. The manager of this hotel should be proud of her staff and the atmosphere she created with her management skills.

Staff is GREAT - very professional and helpful. If beachfront (location and view) is what you seek at a good value price, without Resort or Premium amenities, this place is a very good base. While the lobby and exterior has a fresh feel, the individual rooms are still tired, seen too many raceweeks/spring breakers, and could use some updating in line […] with the Holiday Inn program. Great staff, on the beach with view, very comfortable and clean room. would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very cordial and helpful with everything and made us feel very welcome. The lobby had a great view of the ocean and the hot breakfast the next morning was top notch. Our executive king room was clean & spacious. Plus the bed was most excellent. Located in South Daytona, although still on Ocean, not in the busy part of Daytona. Very clean room. A little small. Great for 2 people. Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.

Every room has an ocean view. Fantastic! The quality of the hotel itself is what you come to expect from Holiday Inn Express, although the decor could use a little freshening up compared to most I've stayed in.

The hotel is fresh and perfectly located for a good time at the beach, but, it is the staff that really makes this location the place to spend a night, or your entire vacation.

With all the other hotels in the area that don't maintain their property, you can always rely on the Holiday Inn name and standards. The rooms were clean, the hotel was clean, beds were very comfortable. Every room is an oceanview. The cleanliness alone is worth the stay. Super place to stay -- right on the beach.

Wife and I were very happy with room. Very clean and orderly. Great view and staff was wonderful.

The continental breakfast was a complete joke. There were not enought tables to sit and had to eat food standing up. Very dissapointed with the quality of the food, the drinks, the coffee, etc,and the whole atmostphere around the small breakfast room The earliest you can enter your room its 4:00 pm and you have to check out by not later than 11:00 You […] pay for 19 hours of service a large amount and its not worth it. We loved this hotel. One of the best continental breakfasts we have seen. Great location, right on the beach with a nice pool overlooking the beach. We reserved adjoining rooms 10 days before our visit and were assured that this request would be accomodated. We were visiting with 2 adults and 4 young children. When we arrived however, we were told that […] our rooms were not adjoining as all the adjoining rooms were taken . As we could not leave 4 little ones alone, our visit was compromised. very efficient staff--got us checked in immediately, overall clean and nice

While newly renovated there were some great things and some not so great. Breakfast area WAY to small. Never got breakfast due to LONG line and no place to sit while eating. Ocean front room did not have great view unless you sat on the balcony, which was unbearable in the heat. Should have made the wall/door all glass to capture the view without going […] out side. This hotel is ok. bad points are the constant banging of doors from other rooms. The constant boom thuds was evident as soon as we walked into the room day and most of the night. All rooms are ocean front and have a solid door opening onto the balcany. This is the door that is causing the banging thuds constantly heard along with the front door to the […] appartments banging. We could hear the thuds standing outside by the pool outside the room. Also the room service is a bit on the poor side , having to ask for towels not changed and floors were not cleaned all week. The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. it had recently been renovated. The service though, was poor. Upon our arrival on the Wednesday, we noticed that we could only call front desk and were not able to make outbound calls from the telephone in our room. Someone came to check but was only able to confirm that it was not working and there was nothing […] they could do about it. A few days later, we tried again to make a local call to order pizza, but it was still not working. Again, we called front desk and they offered to make the call and transfer it to our room. After 1/2 hour, since no one had called us back, we decided to go out instead. At front desk, they said that they were not able to get through to the restaurant. But nobody thought it was a good idea to inform us about it....The following Tuesday, the day before our departure, on our way down to front desk to make a call, we came across the manager. We explained the situation. She said that she was aware that there had been a problem (but did she do anything about it ??? No...!!!) . She called her maintenance person and the problem was finally fixed after one week, when we were about to leave. We also had a problem opening the safe in the room. We had advised front desk in the afternoon but since were were stepping out to go on the beach, we asked that they waited for us to get back to send someone fix it. When we returned to our room, we found out that the safe had been fixed, but the code had been changed. Front desk promised to send someone open the safe. An hour later, we were ready to go out for dinner, but no one had come yet to open the safe. We had our wallets, passport, drivers license... everything was in the safe. We decided to try and open with the code 1234... it worked!!! The same day the telephone was fixed, we found out that the same maintenance person had unblocked the safe and had advised front desk of the temporary code. This place was great! loved everything about it except when we came back late at night there was NO parking. Night Manager was RUDE, appearance nasty. HE told us to park across the street. This would not have been a problem. Except they had no signs posted and I really did NOT trust this sorry excuse of a Manager. If in fact this is what he was?? I […] was worried that my car would be broken in to or towed by the business that owned the lot. I would think Holiday Inn would make sure that their Customer's would be aware of situations that pertain to limited parking before coming back and having to get out of the car and inquire as to what to do. Maybe have a sign posted?? But most of all have Employee's that are clean and look professional. This man's looked like a mess!!! And I was to take his word for where to park??? Lisez la suite

The hotel was clean but during our stay the elevator was experiencing problems and the stairwells weren't very well ventilated. We also experienced another couple entering our room due to a mix up at the front desk. The view from our room was top notch.

I will definitely stay here again. The hotel was really clean. The bed was super nice and right on the beach. Great price. I just really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed 2 nights during the week. The place was beautiful...sooooo clean! Doesn't even begin to compare to other hotels in Daytona! We will definitely stay there again when we go back!

My wife and I were more than pleased with our stay as it is so very convieniently located to restaurants, shops and the beach. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Our view was beautiful and the Hotel itself was very clean and modern. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

This hotel is worthy of its five star customer rating. The details and description of hotel condition, location and services on hotels.com is accurate. My wife and I were very pleased with our beach front room (all rooms at this hotel are beach front).

The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Every room has a balcony that looks out over the ocean. Step out the back door to the pool area and right onto the beach. You can drive on the beach behind the hotel so be careful with young children. There is a little park right next to the hotel with a grill and small playground. Great location, private balcony with a beautiful ocean/beach/pool view. We loved it !

This place was really nice love the closeness to the beach. Came with 3 kids we all had a great time great people and staff breakfast was good too. Would come again. Beds were really soft too!!!
