séjour en amoureux.Hotel très propre, très Design, personnel parfait, à la fois présent et à la fois discret,aimable , courtois,souriant. Que dire de la chambre absolument magnifique avec en plus un petit jardin au bord d' une petite crique.... Bref tout était absolument parfait !

Partis vous visiter la superbe ville de Cascais au sud du Portugal nous devions séjourner une seule nuit à l'hôtel Farol Design. Cascais est une ville très agréable à 20 minutes de Lisbonne. Hôtel très calme et très confortable avec vue exceptionnelle. Proche des petits restaurants typiques du centre ville.

Un hotel à taille humaine très bien situé: à deux pas du centre de Cascais, 10minutes à pied de la gare qui relie Lisbonne en 1/2 heure ( gratuit avec lisboacard). un petit-déjeuner parfait avec des produits frais. Un cadre effectivement design ( même si on retrouve des détails Ikéa...après tout Ikéa, c'est design...). Magnifique vue sur mer.

Très bel hôtel en bordure de mer, chambre lumineuse, belle piscine, personnel prévenant. Raffinement, design (de qualité) et site font de cet hôtel un bel écrin pour passer un séjour à part.. choisir une belle chambre vue sur la mer (ça vaut le coup!). sans oublier un service et un accueil impeccable. parfait pour une escale après un petit séjour dans les ruelles de Lisbonne...

Excellent hotel, with an even better location. Just enough out of the town such that a short 3-4 min walk will get you there, equally far enough out to be quiet during the day and evening. If you are into running (like me) there is a smooth cycle and walking path directly outside the hotel, that runs for 5.5 miles out and back (11m total). The path […] runs along the quiet coast road, and excellent for long miles in the morning, or tempos in the evening ! Food again excellent in terms of both quality and freshness. The susi also very good. Rooms can be small, and we booked a sea view one (extra), however when we arrived we were shown to a small darkish sea view room on the 3rd floor, not happy with it we opted to pay more again for one of the newer rooms with a "full" sea view on 2nd floor. Do have to say it was worth the extra. If your not to cost concious pay the extra and go for the "full" sea view rooms. The outside area around the pool and rocks is again excellent. A lovely boutique hotel on the rocky coast, very stylish and comfortable. Our room had large windows with a lovely sea view. The staff were excellent, very friendly and courteous and always happy to talk about the local wines and food. Great setting, great design. Lovely breakfast. The hotel felt slightly 'tired', like it was ready for a repaint. Expensive water/drinks/snacks but only a short walk into the town centre.

Just returned from a long weekend break to celebrate a birthday. I could not fault the hotel at all. The location is stunning, amazing views from the hotel, as it is right on the cliff-face - worth paying extra for a sea view. Hotel is very stylish and exactly like the photo's. Even brought glass of champagne and cake when they heard it was a birthday dinner. Food excellent (delicious fresh fruit for breakfast); mainly ate at hotel as very few decent restaurants in town. Pool area felt very exclusive and chic - amazing big comfortable sunbeds. Location perfect and a short (10 mins) stroll into Cascais. Would definitely, and will, return for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great hotel. The only thing that we considered excessive was that they charged for coffee in the room when in all 5 star hotels where we have stayed before have always provided complimentary coffee and tea.

We have just returned from an amazing Valentine's break at the Farol Design Hotel in Cascais and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel or the town itself to anyone - we had a fantastic four days. Our room had it's own private terrace backing on to the sea and we went to sleep each night with the sound of waves crashing in the background - bliss! We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was fantastic, with super-helpful staff. We went to the bar on the Friday night of our stay and it was lively and atmospheric without being over-bearing. The hotel is away from the main town but a very easy walk from everything you would need, and if you're into fitness has an amazing running/bike track from literally outside the hotel all the way along the coast. Farol is a mansion on the sea which has been converted to a trendy boutique hotel. It's a short walk from the town in a glitzy neighborhood. The rooms are minimalist and fairly comfortable (beds are amazing) and there's a great deck area for lounging around in the sun. The food in the restaurant is top class and breakfast in the mornings is out on the […] deck with amazing ocean views. On the other hand it's small and lacking in the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff are really lovely in general but simply aren't trained to 5 star standards. For instance the person that checked me out didn't even ask if I enjoyed the place, just took back the key and sent me on my way. Also the bar staff couldn't make a long island ice tea, which in fairness wasn't on the menu but any decent barman should be able to make one of those, and bar food is slow and fairly mediocre in quality. In summary, Farol is the trendiest guesthouse I've stayed in but it is not a five star hotel Lisez la suite

The hotel is fantastically situated right on the cliffs overlooking the sea, we even saw dolphins passing by. La situación de el hotel es muy buena pero las habitaciones no son de un 5 estrellas y no sabría decir tampoco si de un 4; había poco personal y el mantenimiento en general parecía deficiente; Además no había cama de matrimonio eran dos unidas y muy cutres y poco estables, chirriaban cuando te subías.

Flott beliggenhet, men designhotell? Hotellets fellesareal, og ikke minst uteareal, er flotte og fortjener nok titelen "designhotel". Men rommene var helt ordinære. Grei service men man får nok ikke noe ekstra her. Det meste må purres på. I forhold til prisnivået er det nok andre og nyere hotel i nærheten som skårer bedre.

Ein wunderbares kleines 5* Hotel, indem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Allerdings sollte man unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen. Sie sind komfortabler und die Aussicht ist einzigartig! Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse könnte wahrlich ewig dauern!
