hotel et personnel super, juste un peu de cafouillage au niveau de la réception concernant l'attribution des chambres. Les buffets sont très corrects. Bref séjour génial, méme en famille.

HOTEL TRES BIEN DISPOSE. CHAMBRES NICKEL ET RESTAURATION SUPER. ALL INCLUSIVE TRES APPRECIABLE POUR SAVOURER LES DIFFERENTS COCKTAILS.

L'hôtel possède un mini-golf et beaucoup de terrain de jeu, ce qui est intéressant pour les enfants. Seule la salle de sport est très insatisfaisante. Le seul vraiment point négatif de cet hôtel est la nourriture qui manque énormément de variété. La qualité pourrait être nettement améliorée

rooms need upgrade, the rooms smell musty, only 2 towels for 3 persons, lamps are broken, call in 6 six times to replace them no one ever came until the night before I left the hotel. only one restaurant to eat in, the rest are with reservations if you don't make any you eat at the same place every day.

I enjoyed my stay.. the activities, shows, entertainment were interesting, also some ativities for children I saw looked fun! I didn't really care for the room and how the hot water would disappear in seconds...but overall staff was nice and I had a good time ;) I plan on going back to take my son if the price is right and a better room is offered!

Good Hotel for the price.

Hotel has very nice grounds. food is O.K. I am not an expert but good for the price. Nice location and activities to do while you are there.

Mini bar never stocked, even after multiple complaints. Child mattress covered in mold. Tables were rarely set up for breakfast lunch and dinner. Very difficult to discuss issues with english speaking person. The general comment was "ok, we will take care of it now" and than no one would respond. Good hotel if you have NO needs or expectations.

We had a good time staying a this hotel, specially our daughter. The only thing is that the phone in our rome was not working they only repaired it the day before we left

Good but it is hard to understand why in an all-inclusive hotel one has to ask the waiters to have drinks during lunch and dinner

first room furniture was old,room not very clean, toilet not flushing. Second room was cleaner but very humid so humid our cloths were damp and had an unpleasant odor. Third room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was awesomeeveryone was courteous and very professional and they listened to our complaints and moved us to another room, but it was an […] inconvenience. The hotel has gorgeous grounds, well kept. The beach are is beutuful, clean and secure. The room was nice, spacious, eaxactly what we had asked for. The food was regular, nothing worth talking about. However, the service is seriously lacking. The people at the reception are inefficient, lack manners, and they really need a supervisor. I loved the look for the look of the resort; the beach was nice (with lots of shaded areas) and I don't mind the hawkers; and the pool was fine. The room was just so-so (bed was ok/hard; the pillows are the strange!). The food was absolutely awful (honestly couldn't cut the meat at the buffet with my knife!). Yes, the alcohol ran freely (Presidente […] beer and local hard alcohol). I have been going to capella for years, always a wonderful stay, the staff is excellant, food is good and the hotel is well maintained. if your going to santo domingo and want a couple days at the beach add capella on to your stay,,you will love it..

I have been going to Santo Domingo 3 to 4 times a year for the past 20 years, and I have always spent a day or two up at the resort. I have never been disappointed with the accomandations, staff or food. During my last trip my friends and I have decided to spend more days up at the resort. All I can say is that I love it....

Good place to go and relax. Room was better than expected. Grounds well kept. Ample supply of food and liquor....though food was just average....but loved the bar in the pool. Not much around property, so if you're content to stay put during your vacation and not sight see, this is a good place....and well worth the price.

30 min from airport, this town juan dolio its way better than punta cana. there is no wifi at hotel, you have to pay 10 american dollars a day to have wifi, wich i didnt pay of course.

The first night the A/C did not work and neither did the safe. The next day we asked 4 times, but the A/C did not get fixed. We then moved to a different room and the A/C worked, but there was no hot water and this safe did not work in this room either. The food was not good at all and was not what I was expecting.

I have been going to capella for the past three years, always nice, food was good and people who work there always pleasant.Wonderl place to take a nice break.

I liked my brief stay at the hotel. The sea view was beautiful. The rooms ok, but need some remodeling. The food was good. the waitresses work hard and don't stop moving. I recommend the Dominican Restaurant on the back. If you want to relax by the beach, seat far from the pool so noise doesn't distract you. Great for kids!

Having stayed at numerous places around the Dominican Republic, I was generally disappointed with Barcelo Capella in Juan Dolio. My impression is that it is a great get-away for Dominicans, but is not really made for foreign tourists. There was only a handful of Americans and Europeans there. Our room was old and kind of dingy, the a/c didn't work very […] well, the pillows were lumpy. To turn on and off the balcony light, we had to stand on a chair and screw the light bulb. They do not broadcast instructions very clearly. Some restaurants require reservations. But it was only after several phone calls and a visit to the restaurant that I learned I needed to wait in a long line at the guest services desk. Likewise, snorkeling gear was advertised as free for one hour, but only upon trying to borrow it did we learn we needed to pay a US$40 deposit. The drinks were great and readily available. The food was fine at the reservations-only restaurant, but the food at the buffet was like college cafeteria food. The resort was relatively cheap, and so we got what we paid for. I Lisez la suite

my overall stay was good, the hotel staff is excellent, very helpful.....room really nice....food wasn;t what i expected.....not bad just not good, limited choices...food was not hot....but other then the food it was worth the stay

Maybe because we were there in the off season, but the food was awful. You'd see the same plates of cheese from lunch brought out again at dinner. Avoid the buffet at all costs! Food gets left out forever and I really had to wonder about the food safety there. Grounds are nice, beach area is well kept up and the guards keep the wandering merchants […] from bothering you too much. Concierge wouldn't give us a refund for internet service that we paid for that was knocked out by a storm. Room was to be expected for the cost. Toilet and tub were chipped. Worst part for me is they don't use fitted sheets on the beds, so if you move around at all you end up laying directly on the mattress. You get what you pay for with this place, but for me if you're going on vacation you'll definitely want to pay more... Lisez la suite

It was my first time staying at a resort and it was a horrible experience. They need to train all their staff-especially at check-in. Customer service is horrible and they are very rude and unprofessional. Also i noticed roaches crawling on tables at the restaurant. The best that i liked was the pool bar! The food was ok but some of the food was cold. […] Also my room was not cleaned on time..i had to call room service to have it cleaned. Im not happy at all. I don't recommend this one to nobody. Bra hotell med mycket och god mat. Fint läge med vacker strand och bra med aktiviteter för dom som önskar.

Jättefint hotell på utsidan men rummen luktar mögel. Slitna badrum men allt fungerade helt ok. Hotell området jättefint och frukost och bufférestaurangen låg precis vid stranden.
