BEST WESTERN PECOS INN - Artesia

We had a great stay with every thing we asked for and the Breakfast was great. Very clean & lots of Space even with a Motorized Wheelchair, Handicap Bathroom with walk-in-Shower is nice.

The hotel staff were very nice and accomadating however the hotel is older and the rooms and decor need updating.

I really liked the hotel especially the breakfast that comes with the stay. The staff was also very kind and courtious.

the restaurant staff was great with my elderly Dad but the hotel walls were so thin, sounds kept us up most of the night.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Pecos Inn in Artesia NM. Everything was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfprtable. The breakfast was very nice and very filling. The resident kitty cat was a nice touch and my girls loved being greeted by him (or her) when we would arrive back at the hotel. :O) We will stay there again if we get the chance […] to go back to the area. Excellent free breakfast and nice staff

Great location, great room, great breakfast great price. What more is there?

There were no hotels available in Carlsbad, so we opted to stay at the BW in Artesia. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the Chinese restaurant on property was very good; the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The downside was the less than cordial staff. The A/C didn't seem to be working well in the lobby or atrium, so that could have contributed […] to their lousy attitudes. They weren't unhelpful, just not very pleasant. This hotel has a lot of potential with a lovely atrium and great indoor pool/sauna. The pool area was so warm that you could not stay in there unless you were in the pool.. and that was at 9pm. In all fairness, it was sweltering outside. Artesia is a really cute little town with some great statues, restaurants and boutiques. Lisez la suite

Now why would you be in Artesia? Passing through most likely, or working in the oil patch. Either way, this hotel was more than adequate. Rooms comfortable, roomy, and clean, staff were nice. The indoor pool was scary enough from looking at it that we stayed away, but it may be just fine. Breakfast was adequate, though wouldn't compare to Mom's...or […] even Dad's. Lisez la suite

Excellent place to stay; clean and comfortable. Breakfast included - great selection. Will stay again.

We stay for only one night. The room was clean. I was surprise finding Microwave and refrigerator. We will come back.

When all you're looking for is a clean bed at the end of a travel day, the amenities are kind lost on you, but, it appeared that the pool and the exercise rooms were clean, well stocked and easily accessible. The in-house restaurant, on the other hand, though clean, well-provisioned and easily accessible is only wonderful for those who love the taste […] of hot water. Chinese buffet is never a good idea unless the food moves fast enough not to get soggy. Luckily, you could fill your plate and eat in the bar with your favorite beverage. Lisez la suite

After many years of staying in Carlesbad, I decided to stay in Artesia as a stopover on my way to see my sister in Tucson. I was impessed with every aspect right on down to the cooked to order breakfast. Everything about my room as well as the rest of the premiss was above what I had expected. I will stay here again.

What a wonderful group of people serving you at the Pecos Inn. The beds are heavenly ~ So comfortable. I will be back ~

The room was quite large and even had a separate area for microwave, small sink, and refrigerator. After a long drive, I really appreciated the recliner chair in my room. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Really surprised by the quality and condition of this reasonably priced hotel. The room was very nice and clean and updated. The free breakfast was not a buffet but ordered from the menu and staff were helpful. Would highly recommend!

We were expecting a long and loud night of giggling and running softball girls after seeing th pool and walking the hall to our room, but once the door was closed the sound was all but gone. The staff was friendly- including the unofficial greeter, a cat that met us at the door and walked us to the front desk. This was a welcome and restful stay after […] a long day of driving. Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel was clean, comfortable and right on highway.

Very nice place. We enjoyed the pool and the complimentary hot breakfast. Located about 45 minutes from the Carlsbad Caverns. I would stay there agian. We ate at Wellshead Brewery which had great burgers and beer.
