i think a big disappointment about this hotel compared with this hotel's standdard & name value. however, as a staffs service to the hotel guest....they are excellent overwhole !!!

Great value for the money, great tourist location, very helpful staff. There is a dance lounge on the roof that plays loud house music until 2:00 am and I could see how that might be a noisy problem if they ever have customers at the lounge. staff was very helpful and eager to please. hotel looks good and upscale at first glance, but installations are poorly made for that price they are asking. in that area i´d prefer holiday inn, zocalo!!

Great looks on the outside but it's down hill one you check in. There is a big internal noise problem within the hotel with the roof top bar, blaring music over speakers in the court yard and functions being held in the court yard with rooms only metres away. The way the rooms are designed means there is a real lack of privacy. Staff are well meaning […] but at times infuriating with a lack of knowledge about the local neighbourhood, hotel servicesmand attention. When I checked out there was no acknowledgment of my having stayed a week nor any quiry as to how was my stay . This speaks volumes about a lack of concern for their guests. Lisez la suite

This hotel is well staffed. They overcame a reservation confusion with no fuss. They moved my room at midnight when the vibration of rooftop generator bothered me. Found me an excellent driver and all staff were most helpful and friendly. Very conveniently located for business and pleasure. Good value

What was right: Beautiful building. What was wrong: horrible ( I mean HORRIBLE) road noise, A/C doesn't work in hot second floor room, furniture VERY uncomfortable, paying for king suite only gets you a lot of dead space, breakfast food and service absolute joke, location is hard for people to pickup/dropoff and no parking at all. This Boutique hotel is an amazing place to stay in Mexico City. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The architecture is very nice, the room very comfortable (very comfortable bed) and the breakfast very good. But there is a bar on the roof of the hotel that plays very loud music and you have the impression you sleep next to a disco!From Thursday to Saturday (included), the open air bar is playing such […] a loud music that it is not possible to sleep. After the terrible first sleepless night, we refered the problem to the reception who offered us to move room but the other room was on the street side. We bought earplugs. So if you want to go there and sleep, you can go between Monday and Wednesday.Otherwise it is just too noisy. Such a pity. Lisez la suite

This is a beautifully restored hotel, however, the rooftop bar has unrelenting house music that echos through the courtyard of the hotel all hours of the night. There needs to be some serious soundproofing done as I did not get a wink of sleep.

The word "bijou" describes this hotel very well. A former hospice-turned-hotel on the north-east corner of the Alameda, it has been completely renovated in recent years and now sports a very effective combination of old and new: Colonial architecture combined with modern, minimalist décor that looks like it could have come straight out of a Habitat […] catalogue. All rooms are arranged on two floors, ground floor and first floor, around a spacious central courtyard (with ample seating and a restaurant/café). I stayed in a "Deluxe" or "De Lujo" room for a very small supplement, the only difference being that these rooms are all on the first floor, are *slightly* larger, and have daylight from an intriguing "chimney" and skylight above the shower. Since all the partitioning between bedroom, toilet and shower is in transparent glass (although a curtain can be drawn across the glass to preserve modesty!), the effect is rather like an illuminated jewel. So, top marks for contemporary styling. The hotel service was also very good. The staff were all polite and helpful, and the included breakfast was ample and very well presented, with a wide choice. The tower of cubed melon, papaya, kiwi, etc., is a particularly delicious way of beginning the day! The evening food in the restaurant I personally found to be less inspiring, but this may be because I am vegetarian and there were very few guests in the hotel at that time. The free wi-fi throughout the hotel was a great bonus, especially as many other hotels in Mexico charge for this service. The location is extremely convenient. The Alameda is a large open green park whose main paths are lined with market stalls selling fascinating odds-and-ends as well as food stalls for quesadillas etc. It's easy to walk to the Zócalo, or the other way to the Zona Rosa, from this location. There's also a metro station nearby (Alameda Central). The one downside to the hotel is that it was inaugurating a new rooftop bar while I was there. This wa Lisez la suite

Buena experiencia, la volveria a repetir

Muy bonito y practico en ubicacion. Una malacritica en cuanto al servicio de telefonos pues tienen telefonos que registran mensajes pero el hotel no sabe como escucharlos y promete tomar recados y pasarlos a los clientes lo cual en mi caso no me pasaron el mensaje y esto no es signo del nivel de caludad de un hotel de lujo y con servicio personalisado, […] por este motivo no quiero recomendarles el hotel. dentro de las habitaciones todas las paredes son de vidrio transparente, especialmente del dormitorio al baño, 0 intimidad personal. no dejan agua diario, no dejan jabones, etc hay q estar llamando y pidiendo todo.los cuartos son calientisimos, no tiene ventilacion, si abres la pequeña ventana, se ve todo para adentro. el restaurant pesimo, malo, caro […] y tardadisimo. muy mal servicio. mucho ruido en la noche por su roof bar.
