Hôtel accueillant et chaleureux, propre et confortable, petit déjeuner très copieux, situé à proximité des transports en commun et de certains monuments. Aucune hésitation à avoir.

Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.
Une pièce d'identité officielle avec photo et un dépôt de garantie en espèces ou par carte de crédit sont requis à l'arrivée pour couvrir tous frais imprévus.

Gare centrale de Rome arborant une impressionnante architecture moderne, Termini est le point d'entrée dans la ville à partir de l'aéroport de Fiumicino. Entre la gare et l'élégante Via Veneto, vous trouverez plusieurs sites d'intérêt. Le Palazzo Barberini est un superbe palais baroque, les Thermes de Dioclétien (Terme di Diocleziano) étaient jadis le plus grand complexe thermal de la ville et l'église Santa Maria della Concezione mérite une visite pour sa crypte des Capucins.

"Hôtel correct et bien situé"
Assez décue par la première chambre (chauffage qui ne marchait pas, mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain, douche froide à partir de 9h le weekend), mais on nous a changé de chambre pour la dernière nuit et ça allait beaucoup mieux. Le personnel est à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est complet et varié (différents types de pain, viennoiseries, charcuteries, […] céréales, boissons chaudes, etc) par contre les jus de fruits (orange et ananas) sont ignobles. L'emplacement est idéal, dans une rue assez calme et proche de la gare centrale de Termini (5min à pied) Accès au WIFI dansl'hôtel mais limité selon les endroits, il y a un ordinateur et une imprimante en libre accès. "Easy and Convenient"
We booked this place at the last minute, because we were arriving in Rome a day earlier than expected, and our other hotel was unavailable. The hotel was an easy walk from Termini Station, and reception was friendly and polite. The room was very clean - our only problem was that the shower door leaked and flooded the bathroom. The Termini area is a bit of a walk from a lot of the major sites in Rome, but it's not terrible, and there is a metro stop very near the hotel that stops at the Colosseum. "Not a Four star Hotel"
I am not one to write reviews, but I felt this had to be said to all those looking for hotels in Rome. The pictures looked nice......don't let it fool you. Though we knew staying in Europe the rooms would be small this is to be expected, and we also knew that we would over pay....however I have some expectations from a four star hotel and this was not […] it. The beds were terrible, the bedding was terrible and a comforter you would question even touching. The Bathroom was ok, but the shower drain did not drain well, so you had to keep putting the water on and off for it to catch up. We stayed at the hotel for a week in July and our experience was amazing. As most people pointed out great location. Close to subway and train station is about a 10 minutes walk. The room was extremely clean. Good value. There was air conditioning that worked so we were very happen. "Good hotel, safe, secure and close to the Termini"
The hotel is located around the corner from the Termini station in Rome. Considering that you can get a cheap taxi from outside the station all the must see sites are available quickly from here. Also the surrounding area has Rome style restaurants that offer the safe feeling of people eating on the streets late at night. Put simple I have travelled globally, the hotel has a decent tv , free wifi, good bathroom and cheap price for all. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. It had a great complimentary breakfast in the morning, and access to wi-fi, which were two of the most important things for us. It was farther away from the main sites, but the metro stop was just a 1 minute walk, and termini station was a 5 minute walk. The bed was rock hard, and the carpet was dirty, but the bathroom was nice. Others in our party had rooms with wood floors. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were nice and it's a big plus that they can speak English. It was nice to have an all you can eat breakfast. They have contracted an Italian guy to valet, whom you pay cash when you check out. They listed it as 27 Euro a day but that's the minimum. The room was very clean, though the hallway smelled like dirty bathroom (don't know why). The rooms are set up with twin beds, which are put together if you request a double bed. The location is great! It's close to most things you want to see in Rome. The main terminal (which is a train and metro stop), is only a few blocks away. There's also a bus stop a block away from the hotel. This bus stop is convenient because there are few bus lines that stops by it. The neighborhood offers a great array of various places to eat. We felt safe walking the alleys with our children. There is also a grocery store a block away, which is great if there are things you have forgotten or need to go to a supermarket for. This isn't a terribly fancy hotel, but it actually exceeded my expectations (relative to what I paid). The bathroom was quite spacious and in good condition, and even the bed was fairly comfortable, though it looked pretty old. My main complaints were that the air conditioning didn't work -- this wasn't a huge issue since I happened to be there on a […] relatively cool night, but I could easily see it being a problem for others who were less fortunate -- and the front desk service was a little abrupt. There was also no wi-fi available, which is something they should remedy. Also: the neighborhood near the train station isn't great at night, so bear that fact in mind if you're coming in late (as I did). At least the streets on the north side of the station (where this hotel is) seem to be better than the ones on the south side (where I first exited the station). We stayed here in July 2011. The hotel is convenient to central Rome, The Metro and Stazione Termini. There are lots of restaurants nearby however it can be very noisy at night. "NIGHTMARE"
THE AIR CONDITIONING DID NOT WORK, WE REQUESTED TEA MAKING FACILITIES WHEN THEY FINALLY SHOWED UP,THE FRIDGE DID NOT KEEP THE MILK FROM TURNING. IT WAS STILL IN THE ROOM AFTER THE ROOM WAS CLEANED, THE ATTITUDE OF THE YOUNG LADY AT RECEPTION WAS POOR, IT WAS TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS PUTTING UP WITH THIS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I REQUESTED […] ANOTHER ROOM, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LADY WAS VERY GOOD SHE SAID SHE WOULD ORGANISE A DISCOUNT. This hotel was perfect. We chose this hoping for a clean, decent place that was a value for the money. We got what we wanted and more. We had everything we needed, breakfast, nice room, wonderful staff that spoke english and where extremely helpful and the location was ideal - two blocks from a metro stop and 15 minute walk to Termini station. The room […] was lovely, but small as they tend to be in Europe and the street was noisy - welcome to Rome. I don't think there IS a quite street! This area is very accessable for getting around and is an okay area to be walking in at night. Overall my friend and I (two women) felt very welcome and safe at this hotel and location. There was a very nice restaurant across the street and several in the area. There is a laundromat with internet access just 1 1/2 blocks away as well as several ATMs in the area. The three of us stayed at the Best Western Villafranca for three nights. Pleasant staff at the front desk. The room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately no WiFi and the breakfast room was a bit small for the number of guests in the hotel. "For young couples--pick a different location"
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was very helpful and the reason, I believe, this hotel has a 4 star rating. The rest of the hotel -- NOT 4 star. I did not think the front desk was helpful and the room was extremely small (the worst I have seen in all my european travels--my family all lives in Europe so travel […] there quite regularly). It was convenient to the trains and the metro, but there was nothing else in that neighborhood. For young travelers (we are a couple in our early 30s) I would not recommend this location. I loved Rome, but would definately pick a different location next time around. You can find just as nice of places in areas that you would much rather be in for similar prices.
