"colonial inn kingsport"
staff was courteous and efficient. Room was clean. I did not like that someone folded the end of the toilet paper roll into a triangle shape, that means they had their fingers on paper that is going you know where, so had to tear that part off first. coffeemaker and fridge in room. It would have liked a location closer to the main highway through kingsport […] but i didn't want to spend extra for a room. this hotel was fairly priced in my opinion. Lisez la suite

"Colonial Inn. Dont arrive early"
We arrived at the hotel at 12 noon. The person at the service desk informed us check-in was not until 3 PM. The desk person stated the owner of the hotel would not allow anyone to check-in early. Other people were turned away as well. I have stayed at 1000's of hotels and 95% of the time a room is provided upon arrival. However I have had to wait approximately […] 30 minutes on several occations so a room could be cleaned. Check out at this hotel is 11 AM. I know it does not require four hours to clean a room. We overheard staff indicating that approximately 10 rooms were ready to be occuppied at 1 PM. Never the less we had to sit in the lobby of the hotel for three hours waiting on check-in after a five hour drive from the Atlanta area. I was amazed that a room became available at excatly 3 PM. This is very poor service no matter how its justified. Travlers cannot always determine the exact time of arrival. I want stay there again. Lisez la suite

We were very happy with the hotel and easy to get on and off main highway. It was not in a bad area and very close to restaraunts. It is an older hotel but clean !
"Bristol Race Weekend"
As others stated, the furnishings in the room are older, but worked for us! The bed was slightly lumpy but again, for the price paid, I was fine with it. Other properties were more then double the rate I paid to stay here and I'm ok paying the cheaper rate. The b'fast was fine, cleanliness was great.

Although the property may be considered "aged", the amenities befit the price. Comfortable rooms, telivision very old, but room very neat, clean and comfortable.

Older hotet but well managed. Clean & comfortable rooms. No old smoke odor.

"Race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway"
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The first night of our stay, the air conditioner sounded like it was falling out of the window every time it kicked off. (It was working, just kind of noisy.) Called the front desk the next morning. That night it was fixed and we slept soundly. Because our sleepy butts couldn't […] get out of the room early enough, housekeeping didn't have a chance to clean the room, but they were at our door every morning offering clean towels and anything else we needed. Continental breakfast had much more selection than many other hotels we have stayed at. All in all, a nice hotel, very convenient to alot of restaurants and the highway. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. Lisez la suite
"Horrible bed, but all else was great."
The bed at this hotel was the most uncomfortable I have encountered in months if not years. It was bouncy, springy, squeaky, and generally unsleepable. My fiancee' and I both got a very poor night's sleep because of this. The room was otherwise quite nice and the service was quite good.
"Crummy service, crummy room"
The desk clerk was more interested in taking a smoke break than helping us. She was visibly annoyed that we walked up when she was on her way out for a smoke break and made us pay for that. We booked a double bed room and were told the only available was a single double handicapped room. No help, no looking for anything else, no choice in the matter. […] That means the kids slept on the floor. The double bed was horribly sagging in the middle. So much so I thought it was broke. Walls are paper thin and all the rooms are ouotdoor access, so the cars in the lot were extra loud. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of better hotels in the area for a similiar price. Book one of those and stay away from the Best Western, a dying brand. Lisez la suite
