Hotel situé au milieu de la charmante ville de Positano. L'hôtel en lui même et très attractif. Il possède un hall d'accueil qui met dans l'ambiance avec une exposition d'art toute l'année. Nous avons été accueilli par une personne très serviable et de très bon conseil (notamment au niveau des restaurants). La chambre réservée disposait d'un jacuzzi. […] La chambre disposait aussi d'une très belle terrasse fleurie avec une vue magnifique. La literie était de belle qualité. Vraiment rien à redire! On regrettera par contre le petit déjeuner, correct mais sans plus et dans lequel un vrai jus d'orange n'est pas inclus! C'est un peu "chip" de faire payer ça dans un hôtel 4 étoiles au milieu d'une région de culture d'agrumes! Au niveau emplacement, l'hôtel n'est pas situé au "centre" de Positano. Mollets sensibles, s'abstenir de prendre les escaliers pour rentrer à l'hôtel depuis la plage (j'ai arrêté de compté à 500 marches...) Mais, la description faite des chambres ne correspond pas a la réalité. les chambres standard sont petites, n'ont ni canapé lit, ni baignoire, ni cheminée, ni lave-linge, et certaines sont bruyantes. Globalement cet hotel plutot bien situé sur la cote amalfitaine accuse son age, notamment sur le plan du confort sanitaire. Si la vue du balcon est excellente, le confort de l'hotel et le niveau de service correspondent plus à un standard trois etoiles français qu'à une classification en quatre. The hotel is in a good spot and is easy to find if you're driving. The hotel offers parking however it seems you can park on the street for less (assuming you can find a spot). Its an easy walk down to the beach, although somewhat steep and you're better to catch the bus back up the hill just make sure you get off at the turnoff back to Positano. The […] bus ride is one way up to Nocelle not a circular route. We bought some prosecco and cheese and sat on our balcony overlooking the sea in the afternoon which was fabulous. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The view was great. The room was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful.I would recommend this hotel. The only issues I saw was the balcony area .There were only plants that separated my balcony from the next. You could see into your neighbor's room from the balcony as there was no real dividers between […] the rooms. You had to be careful that no one could see you undressing in your room. The hotel needs to put some screens in to protect their customers privacy. The next issue that I noted was they charged you for a cappuccino in the morning. They were the only hotel that did that during our travels in Italy. It seemed a little cheap.They did have a hot water heater with instant coffee in the rooms, so I guess that was their tradeoff. We had romantic trip to Italy in February-March and stayed in this hotel for 5 days. We like this hotel. The breakfasts were just perfect for 4 star hotel! Every morning we had fresh and tasty cappuccino :) The girl who served us was always smiling, friendly and impeccable! Managers from reception desk were very helpful !!! They advised nice restaurants […] and beautiful places to visit. I am thankful them for their service! Our room was big and clean. We had our own balcony with amazing view to seaside of Positano!!! Only some minuses, that we had broken hair dryer and a maid didn't pay attention to it. When we asked to put pillows on chairs on balcony on our first day, nobody put them till the end of our staying. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful view. There is about a 20 minute walk down to the beach, but plenty of shops to visit on your way down. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Pasitea at the end of November. The staff were extremely helpful and did everything to make our stay more comfortable. Antonio on the Reception was very friendly and was able to help when we needed anything. I would recommend the Hotel Pasitea to anyone wishing to spend time in Positano.

Loved the deck and views. The room was clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable. I would spend the extra cash and get a taxi to this hotel as the bus is difficult with luggage and does not annouce where you are so, many people missed their stop. The service was attentive and caring, the breakfast was fine. The shower could use some mold killer […] as the mold was bad. As you can read in the reviews, the shower is tiny but; if you a medium sized or smaller person you will fit fine. This is a great destination hotel for a reasonable price. I liked this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The man at the reception was very friendly, breakfast was pretty decent and we had a little balcony that had the most magnificent view. It could have used parking that was a bit cheaper, but overall I would definitely recommend it. And the room was massive!

The location was average but we got what we paid for. Service was the issue which let the property down, particularly at the reception desk. The staff were unprofessional and lazy. We found the hotel Pasitea to be very nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat. The hotel location is a bit of a hike but the local bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The balcony, while very small, provides enough space for two and offers a great view. The […] only thing we would have liked offered would have been a shuttle service upon arrival and departure. Stay was great. The staff was helpful and courteous. We has a great terrace and a gorgeous view. 2 of the 3 restaurants were right on. The 3rd was good but felt rushed. The hotel is right in front of the interna Positano bus stop. Doesn't get much easier then that. The only thing negative would be the wifi was a little flaky.

We spent two nights at best western pasitea but was an unpleasant. Ppl at front desk were Not nice. They never pick up the phone and the wifi did not work for a Whole day. Hotel is well located and rooms have great views except that the bougainvillia creeper on the railings is so overgrown that all the views are cut off from terrace and balcony unless you stand. Unfotunately, we were dissapointed with our stay at the hotel Pasitea. The location is good in Positano, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. However, the hotel is a bit outdated; the bathrooms are "yucky", with old tiles and mold on the caulking, grout, and on the floor. The rugs in the bedroom look dirty, and a covering blanket on the […] bed also looked old and in disrepair. The breakfast was good, although there is no fresh juice. One of the sites mentions that Hotel Pasitea has a shuttle - they do not. The people behind us at check-in also selected the hotel for this reason and they said they never heard this. They also claim free internet. This is true if you have your own computer/ pda. They will not let you use their computer without a charge. One person at the front desk […] is friendly, the other 2 are not. At least in shoulder season, we didn't like the location. Too far to "center" of town and very few shops/ restaurants within a quick walk. If booking again, we'd stay east of the "center" and not "west" The positive was that the internal city bus stops right in front of the hotel and it's only a 10 minute walk (up stairs) to the bus that goes to other Coastal towns. Very pretty hotel, with some helpful and some not-so helpful staff. The location was good; 10 minutes walk from the beach, and the InterPositano bus stops right outside the door. Nice view from our balcony of the city and sea, close to good restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean, but it seemed as though perhaps housekeeping missed some spots in […] our room. There was a wadded up towel in the corner, but as we were only there a short time we didn't complain. I didn't see any pets, but our room smelled pretty strongly of cat urine, strangely. It was lessened by opening the doors so it was okay, but would smell a bit again if we'd shut the doors for a few hours. It wasn't unbearable, just a bit strange. It was very comfortable, and having the breakfast included was really great. It was buffet style and the food was pretty good; wide selection of pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal, coffee/tea. Our room was very comfortable, bright and clean--nice towels and linens, and the mattress was plusher than most others we slept on in Italy. The art was a little weird, but the tile was lovely. We loved our little balcony and view of the water. Driving into town we had no idea what we were looking for (forgot to print a Google map), but it was right […] on the main road. We practically ran into it. We left our car out front to unload, and the man at the desk took care of the parking. (We knew from the website that parking would be expensive--budget some extra for that!) The hotel is a fairly long downhill walk to the beach and the main part of town, but the views along the way almost make you forget how far you are going and what all those stairs are doing to your knees. The circuit bus goes right by the hotel, so no worries about climbing back UP those stairs. The best thing about the hotel for us was the help from staff members, especially the next morning when we were leaving. The concierge recommended a restaurant way up the hill (Taglitea), told us how to get there, and even showed us a photo from the previous night when he'd dined with his wife. It was everything he said it would be, "like the Mama cooking!" We are vegetarians, and we didn't even have to look at a menu--we told the waiter and he just kept bringing us wonderful plates of vegetables and pasta. We had a very short time to stay in Positano, and directions about getting around town, using the bus, where to go, etc., were spot on and made our trip very enjoyable. Lisez la suite

The hotel is old and very noisy. We didn't sleep the first night because of the noise. The patio set is in metal and everytime people moves it, it makes a lot of noise. We change room the second night, it was much better but we have to keep the patio door close.
