Hotel trés classe et trés bien situé sur une rue commercante au centre de toronto je le recommande sans pb à tous on se sent comme dans un grand hotel alors ke le prix est abordable. Seul bémol la salle de bains un peu petit et l'eau chaude ki faisait des siennes car on arrivait pas à la regler

"Horrible Johnson Inn & Suites Toronto East"
Une réservation tardive nous a obligé à nous arréter dans cet établissement. Nous sommes une famille de 5 personnes et seul cet hôtel proposait une grande chambre pouvant nous accueillir. Pour qualififier notre sèjour, j'hésite entre sinistre ou horrible. Les deux sans doute. A éviter absolument.

"You get what you pay for"
I only needed a bed for the night as cheaply as possible so this Howard Johnson was just that. It was cheap, but comfortable. The linen was paper thin but then I hadn't paid for a five star hotel. It did the job.

No hot water, had to change rooms because the keys would not work, room was cold, had to ask for extra blankets. Had people looking for clients knocking on our room door, Said it was a mistake. The food at the hotels buffet ( Chinese ) was luke warm! I'am sorry I would not recomend this hotel

room did not have any tub plug I asked twice for one so my child can have a bath and i stil didn't recieve it. The sliding patio doors have a really big gap so the outside air was leaking into the room. Renting this room in December and the beds were right beside the door and with the amount of air that came into the room did not make it any better. […] Over all I stayed with my family there for 5 days and I am now extremely sick from the cold air. oh ya their laundry facilities there was 2 washers and 2 dryers in a room the size of a closet and after I spent $7 to do 2 loads of laundry (washed and dryed) I found out that my cloths did not get very cleaned at all. And there was no garbage can in there so all the lint and soap containers were on the floor or in the small sink and there was a condom wraper on the floor. In the middle of an industrial area. The hotel is getting old and warn. The TV channel selection was poor, and the bathroom really needs to be renovated.. Overall, not the best place to stay.

When registering, I was charged additional funds to receive an upgraded room. The renovations in this room reflect the very poorest quality of workmanship. The hotel reception staff, although pleasant, could not justify the additional charge policy nor the security deposit for the room policy....the cost of staying at this hotel is simply not worth […] it! "The Worst Howard Johnson Inn"
I have stayed in many hotels over the years. Canadian and abroad, I have never stayed in such a dirty , unkept room. The pillows smelled like they had not been replaced in 10 years or more.The cases were yellow and smeeled like they had been in storage for a few years. The bed reminded me of my great grandmothers, lumpy and smelly. There were no washclothes, […] bathmat, and only one bath towel, but I believe it was a hand towel. We asked for a smoking room , no ashtray, burns everywhere on the night stand and dresser. There was a full piece of pizza and dipping sauce I found beside the heater , when I tried to find a heat control for the freezing room. It was not my pizza , I assure you. We were given a room on the ground floor with a patio slider door. This door never closed tight and the draft that came through the door was wistling all night. Will never stay with this hotel chain again. I called the front desk in the morning to let them know of the missing items , so I was not charged on my credit card for the maid not doing her job, or helping herself to the hotels stock. Outside sliding door(s) of my room didn't lock or even close completely, some concern when staying alone. The hotel is right on High Way 401 which was convenient, but if I had known what the area was like I would NOT have chosen this place. Yes, they are redoing the place, but it is still run down and dirty! Dining room and so called "continental breakfast" are below standards!
"Overdue for a major renovation"
This hotel should have been bull-dosed over about 5 years ago and rebuilt. The place is a total dive and fire hazard. Would never stay here again. I was fearful for my life and had difficulty sleeping thinking if this hotel is in this dire need of a renovation does any of the fire security even work?

the stakk treated us really good, but the hotel is old and smells smoky and musty, our room was clean , but again the smell is there. is doesn't compare to nice hotels, I would give it 1 star rating

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Howard Johnson Inn in Toronto. The staff was very accomodating in granting us a much needed early check-in. At breakfast the staff took the time to interact with us and offered great service. We had the pool to ourselves the following morning. The location was easy to find for our GPS. "NEVER GO THERE"
I spent fairly good amount of money to have my clients feel comfortable during their stay. I received three calls from my clients between 4 - 6pm and finally arranged another hotel for them. Will never go to this place again and nor recommend anyone going to this hotel

Hotel was nicely situated, had wireless internet which was nice and breakfast is included with your stay however for some reason the phone in my room wasn't working..uhm.

When I arrived in the afternoon I was greeted by Annie ,one of the reception staff. Very friendly and helpful, even to verifying pronounciation of my name properly ! All in all the staff were Very friendly and helpful ,they got us extra coffee/creamers etc. and the only thing that wasn't there was a shower cap (they do not provide) otherwise they were […] good and we did have a good stay. As they are in the middle of construction/renovation they did well for our accomodation. No microwave oven in room but there is a fridge otherwise as we had a "new room" it was nice. "Not bad, but I've stayed at better for less money"
Check in was quick and easy. I knew that the hotel was under renovations when I booked it so that was not a surprise. I liked the fact that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. The location was good, close to restaurants and the bus. Outside our room someone had left their old dirty boots. There was something sticky on top of the tv. The cord […] from the lamp was spliced together with electrical tape and the light bulb was hanging out. I told my friend that there was no way I was going to even touch it because it looked like it would start a fire. They cleaned our room and took the towels but did not leave any. We asked at the desk and then went out. When we came back in the afternoon still no towels. We went through FIVE room keys because almost every time we went out and came back the key would not work. I would like to say it was an ok place if you are just looking for a place to sleep but since my bed was sagging in the middle it was barely even that. Lisez la suite

I have stayed at one of the Hojo's in Niagara Falls a few times and the check in and out was MUCH easier. Confirmed ID and done. Handed in room cards when leaving and done. As simply a place to sleep for the night, it was fine. Pool/hot tub was big enough but pool area could use better lighting and some better upkeep. Although there was a complimentary breakfast, it was not appetizing. The juice container did not look clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Twice during our 5 day stay our room was not made up well, once with the bed sheet hanging on the floor when we arrived back to our room in the evening.
