"Good price, clean, but loud as h***"
This hotel was nice and clean, but only people who are able to sleep on a disco dance floor should book it. The night club subwoofer rattles through the hotel almost every night and makes it hard to fall asleep, especially on the lower floors.
"Seaview Hoel Dubai excellent service & convenient"
Convenient to Port Rashid and airport. Service excellent, food excellent and more than enough available taxis for sightseeing that do not rip you off. A DEFINITE RECOMMENDATION TO VISITING DUBAI. Excellent value all round
"NOT A HOLIDAY HOTEL"
The location is more for business than for tourists it is situatated in a residential, commecial area with nowhere to go. the bathroom needs updating. i asked at reception for a specific tour and they booked me on one of there own tours it was a disaster and not very professional nevere again
"Handy Hotel"
Not a 4 star but a 3 star hotel. Waiting staff are slow in the restaurant. Great band in the Marines bar. Was very disappointed to have to pay an entrance fee to the bar even though we were guests in the hotel. Reception staff were very nice and polite. Nice hotel for couples - but not for families. Being charged at the bar for entrance really put me […] off the hotel and thats a pity as other than for that reason I would go back again. Lisez la suite
"seaview hotel"
The hotel was not what we expected based from the pictures. The rooms were small and dirty. Old carpeting, stains on walls, dust on carpets...However, customer service and daily breakfast was good.
"Crown Plaza Hotel in Muscat"
A hotel from the 70s but in a very good location and well run by professional staff. We staid in this hotel for more than a week and had no complaints at all.
"You get what you pay for...."
I have extreme mixed feelings about this hotel....when I arrived, they did not have a room specific to my requests available. For example, I asked for a single (king) bed room, but they wanted to give me a room wih two twin sized beds in it and wanted me to just push them together. Then, they tried to give me a non-smoking room against my prior written […] request. The internet in the room was a little expensive for 24 hours but within reason, but the Wi-Fi signal was so weak, it would drop your connection. Luckily, after complaining to the duty manager, who personally came to my room to verify, I was refunded my internet fee. But it wasn't just my room, another guest and I chatted in the elevator and we both agreed that we got what we paid for, some things worked while others didn't. The location was okay...was centrally located between all the major attractions...and never waited more than 5 minutes for a taxi. The picture of the gym is very mis-leading....barely larger than a broom closet. And every night club / bar attached to the hotel had an elevated door fee for international guests. While I will say that the hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I can honestly say that I've spent my last night ever in that hotel. Lisez la suite
"Pretty good for the money"
My family and I went to Dubai (4days 3nights) for the new year celebrations. This was when Dubai is so packed and busy that all hotels are full. Best to book everything in advance (hotels, restaurants, etc). The price for the rooms were reasonable with complimentary breakfast. The location of the hotel though close to the airport and within close range […] of landmarks is still pretty inconvenient due to the fact that Dubai is not a city where you can just walk around. It is best to get around by car, bus, or taxi. With walking lots of obstacles in the way such as highways and bigger roads. Once checked in, I found one of our rooms to have a conjoined door to another room in which we didn't like. I asked the reception for a change and the answer I got was that they couldn't because someone else took another available room. I could have stopped there but just to make sure I went outside our room and looked down where the reception was visible. I saw no one checking in. I went down and asked again. They changed our room then. By phone they were reluctant to change but when talking face to face they changed. Our room was really nothing special, a major thing that put us off was the bed sheets and cover. They were old and looked very drab. The biggest problem we had was the noise coming from the night club which was around the 7th floor. We were at the 3rd floor. You could hear it pretty well through the night. The hotel itself didn't really seem like a 4 star but rather a 3 star. Maybe needs renovation? The breakfast buffet was good and the Chinese restaurant, or rather Indo-Chinese restaurant wasn't too bad except that the manager and his staff actually touch utensils with their hands, the part where it goes in our mouths. Not really hygienic. Overall, excluding the nigh club's loudness and the very worn look and feel of the rooms and beds, there were no other problems. Lisez la suite
"Seaview Hotel - near the sea but little view"
Staff was friendly, descent location near the souks, old Dubai, and the creek. It did have a small pool which was nice but the view is basically blocked by the imposing Dubai Customs House right across the street. While it is clean and comfortable during the day, loud music and vibes echo through the place at night. On the second night, I went to explore […] what the heck was going on and all of the noise comes up from the karaoke bar downstairs, which itself is a whole other world. If you are looking for west African women, Asians that is the bar for you. Lisez la suite
"Seaview nice but noisy"
Nice hotel, staff accommodating, but they have a dance club on the 7th floor, which is very noisy even from rhe 4th floor where I stayed. Rooms okay, not great..
"Seaview Hotel - should be 3 star not a 4 star"
I would say, it should be a 3 star hotel instead of a 4 star hotel (based on my personal opinion only). It's away from the main city attraction. Wireless internet access is not free.
"Nice Experience"
I was generally impressed with the hotel .The quality of service offered was unbelievable at such a reasonable rate.I highly recommend this hotel.
"Seaview Hotel, Dubai"
Although the hotel was undergoing some renovation in the lobby, the hotel is one of the best values, especially in August, which was during Ramadan. The dinner buffet (priced reasonably) was exceptional. Also, breakfast buffet is complimentary. There is always something open, as they have three restaurants with entertainment open to 3 a.m. (Just don't […] get a room underneath them on the 6th floor). Full use of the spa and swimming pool, as well as a rooftop pool and late night arabic cafe. Lisez la suite

"Edullinen vaihtoehto"
Meget larm på hotellet, morgenmad burde varieres mere ellers ok.
"good..."
but internet fee is very expensive.....
"Good comfi place, out of too much traffic jam"
Having been traveling to Dubai for 10 years, it's a pretty good hotel - for bizz, leasure, families and all. They've got a great roof top bar/restaurant with pool -out- and indoor (AC) sitting possible. Great service and it's an overall pretty good middle class hotel at a very good price.
