Ramada Plaza Resort & Suites Orlando International Drive - Orlando

L'hôtel est en travaux jusqu'en mars 2012. Une extension est prévue. Je pense qu'une fois les travaux terminés, ce sera un très bel hôtel. Mais pendant toute la durée des travaux la piscine est fermée. Les travaux sont bruyants et la clim dans les chambres fait également beaucoup de bruit. Honteux, inadmissible hotel en reconstruction et agrandissement, services hotelier neant, personnel demotive. Les travaux de construction de la nouvelle aile; commence a 7h00, la piscine est bachee et fermee depuis des mois, il fait 40 degres a Orlando!, l'ancienne partie de l'hotel est quasi a l'abandon, sejour horrible.

bathroom very damaged, (salle de bain endommagée a plusieurs endroit, mitigeur cassé) we killed cockroach during the stay. (on a tué un cafard pendant notre sejour) Aircon makes a lot of noise. (l'airco fait bcp de bruit) Fridge was flowing stinky liquid. (le frigo degèle tout seul plusieurs fois et un liquide puant coulait) we didn't eat for breakfast […] because it was really poor and not enough at all. (djéuner très mauvais et pas de choix du tout) 3 bulbs were blown on the 5 lamps in the room (toutes les ampoules quasi pettées !! il faisait quasi tout noir le soir dans la chambre) Wifi quiet slow (wifi n'est pas le plus rapide au monde) Lifts always out of order .. (ascenseur quasi tous les jours en panne et le matin il fallait attendre parfois 12 min l''ascenseur !!) But nice view on the lake hopefully (belle vue sur lac) Big queen size bed. Séjour de 3 nuits début mai 2011 : attention la piscine n est pas disponible ( ce qui n était pas indiqué a la réservation ), du fait d' une extension de l'hôtel en cours (c est le chantier ..) chambres vétustes mais confortable si comme nous vous visitez les parcs la journée et ne faites qu'y dormir. Petit déjeuner léger (café jus orange pain de mie […] et fruits...) et salle de petit dej improvisé dans des anciennes chambres.... Seuls atouts prix et emplacements juste en face du lac commun au parc wet'n wild et tout proche de Universal studios. les plus : - Très bon emplacement sur International drive, restaurants et animations à proximité - Magnifique vue imprenable sur le lac. le moyen : - piscine très petite par rapport à la grandeur de l'hôtel. Les moins : - la laverie : 2 machines à laver pour 150 chambres ! la réception nous a donné la chambre la plus bruyante (face à la machine à […] laver) donc sur 11 nuits, il y a eu 5 soirs où nous avons dû supporter les conversations et les disputes devant la laverie jusqu'à 1h30 du matin ! - les clim ont vécu : impossible de dormir à cause du bruit de tracteur - j'ai payé plus cher pour une chambre avec un très grand lit et j'ai eu la chambre standart avec 2 lits et en plus avec 1 porte communicante pour la chambre voisine (pas d'intimité, on entendait tout) - et l'accès internet : 1 ordinateur dans le hall pour tout l'hôtel ! sûrement pas à haut débit car pour ouvrir "yahoo" il m'a fallut 15 minutes ! donc pour voir ses mails il faut faire la queue dès 7 h du matin en espérant que ça débite car c'est 15 minutes par personne ! Cet Hotel est proche de "Universal Studio Resort" et de centres commerciaux, restaurants etc... Les employés sont gentils. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de parking parce qu' ils sont entrain de construire un nouvel Hotel. Le prix est raisonnable. Nous allons retourner là-bas.

It was close to Disney for sure and shuttle was provided...The room was clean and well well kept during are stay..Alot of construction being made so parking was not always the best it could be ....overall the stay was very nice. The food was very good would recomend a stay

This must be a recent purchase. This place is still undergoing renovations and is not quite ready for business travelers. No room service, no on site hot food, etc. When its complete maybe it will be better.

Hotel had just recently opened when we stayed. Very clean, staff very polite and helpful with whatever we needed. Jacuzzi was always hot and pool was great! Beds were firm but comfortable and the pull out beds are comfortable, no bars in the back! The stay was great once we got to our suite which is in the main building that you check-in in. The building behind the main building wasn't as nice. So the first night we were in a deluxe room but moved to the building with the suites for a much nicer, more comfortable stay the 2nd night. The hotel was really pathetic & even the hotel staff as well,,, the condition, cleanliness were of really very poor standard.... The themearks were really good & enjoyable,, ,, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When I first got there it looked great. Alittle construction going on and very little parking in front of hotel. I had to park in another parking lot.when I walked in it looked fantastic and all refurbished. I got my key and preceded to my room. As soon as I walked outside too the other building I saw the difference the elevator was.... lets say not […] very good as a matter of fact I didn't use it again. PARKING!!! Absolutely awful. Couldnt find parking at ALL. Circled for atleast 20Minutes everynight of our stay, luckily on the last night after circling for 20Minutes and threatening to get a refund and,leabe the manager moved his car and gave us his spot. The hotel recently added a new North Tower, which we were not able to stay in because of the Grand opening. My wife, grand daughter and I were given a room where the AC leaked, the carpet smelled of urine and there were little bugs in the bathroom. Was not a grand opening for me or a grand stay.

Just to let you know fellow traveler.... 1. You need your key for using the elevator. You go into the elevator, insert your key card, and then you can press only your floor. But what happens if more people want to use the same elevator ? It becomes a complete caos ! You will have to do magic to arrive at your floor. 2. Great tv sets at your room.... […] But the signal keeps on fading.... And then coming back..... So good luck with your tv watching. 3. There are no signs on international drive for the hotel.... Only a mini sign! So you will miss the entrance for sure. 4. They have a great gym, but they charge tou extra if you want to use it ! Only 120 bucks extra a day !!!! 5. We stayed in the new tower and the King suite was a great deal for the price, but it's still about a month away from being a great place to stay. Lots of little things like no trash cans in the room, and the complementary breakfast kept running out of something different each day. The biggest negative was the staff, they were not rude, but far from […] friendly, we had to wait too long to check in because the machines that made the keycards were not working. Elevator for south tower slow. Front desk difficult to reach by phone, but always available if you go to desk. Overall a very solid performance and would recommend to friends

We had a awesome stay here. They was remodeling but was done the last day we was there. They was very friendly. The parking was just so so but your in orlando what do you expect. Great place for the price! We will return!!!!

The hotel is rediculus. It's under construction so your actually staying in the old very old section behind the new one being built. Breakfast is served and seating is either outside in the hallway of the 2nd floor or inside an empty hotel room. Very bad.

I stayed at this hotel from March 12 - 15 and it was good. We were there for the Universal and it was within walkin distance (if your health permit). The room was ok if they had dust, but will stay again cause of the location...hopefully to stay in the new renovated section.

The hotel is under major construction. It had set up a temporary lobby at the back of the hotel behind the construction site -it was very difficult to get to. On the second night the guests next door arrived after 12am and made loud noises until 2:40. Desk clerk was not interested in addressing our concerns.

Clean, convenient location but extensive renovations in progress. The driveway is being re-paved this week, and the front entrance is in process of being re-done so they are using a small shed for reception. Noisy after 8:00 am but most people are awake then. Eight employees from our business flew to Orlando for a Walmart meeting and stayed at the Ramada. The hotel was under still construction, even though the new wing was suppose to open this month. The outside was not welcoming. The staff awaited guests at the door with beer coupons, a cheap, distasteful attempt to apologize for poor conditions. The hotel is in shambles. Breakfast sucks big time. The breakfast room smells really bad. The room itself didn't smell any good either. Heavily smoked in for a non-smoking room. The sheets weren't clean and we felt itchy all night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you have no choice. If you can find a good hotels a little far then go for them […] and not this one. The hotel is rebuilding a new wing using the parking lot as stage are for material and machinery and as result...no much parking, lobby worse than a motel, hotel rooms as breakfast room...the price was not far from other motels nearby, which I might have choose if I knew the status of the hotel.

You will be sorry - construction starts at 8am

Very nice hotel, comfortable, good breakfast, and ladies were always there to refill the breakfast, good staff at the front desk. All rooms are lakefront in this hotel with very good view. Hotel is going under construction, so parking was harder to find and was little farther away, and pool was closed as well. They do have a shuttle service to Disney […] theme park (20 mins away), but not to Universal Studio (5 mins away), parking is $15 per day at the Universal studio. Overall very nice and pleasant experience.Office staff was nice and let me print my boarding pass in the computer which was available to all guests. Lisez la suite

The only thing I could complain about is definitely the parking situation due to the construction going on. I would recommend the hotel, but I do wish they would've warned about the construction.

This hotel make my stay very sad starting the first night, when i arrive nothing that i spected, an old building with nasty look, at the reservation they has the picture of the new building and people got confuse. very bad check in treatment, rooms fill with extention cords and hair dryer burned not working,not please at all. I lost my silver marriege […] band in the room and never founded per housekeeping. I asked for a discount and all I got was a card with 25% offf my next stay??? thats it??? wow!!!. Being worked on,NO POOL, not a good place to vacation, go to any hotel that is not being worked on .parking is hard to find. overpaid for just a place to sleep.

Hotel is under going renovations. No parking!!!!! You have to park and walk through dark street to check in or get to your room.

the hotel location was not the best, since it was under construction and the "false adversiting" that it had "suites" upset me the most, given we were expecting vistors and with only our sleeping quarters it was cramped to say the least!!!!!!!!! the all suites were under construction out front and this made guest think the building was closed for repairs. […] it was scary to drive in there. O.K. place to stay for price. currently being renovated and construction is out in front of everything. parking kinda bad and no onsite pool. but they did state that surrounding hotels would allow acess to theirs. they also have free breakfast.

Hotel was under construction. We had to park a block away and walk to the hotel. The breakfast area was a hotel room set up with toasters and such. Me and my children had to go eat breakfast elsewhere I was very disappointed that I was not made aware of these situation prior to making my reservations. I understand that they are in the process of remodeling […] but I wouldnt have stayed there if I would have known The staff was pleasant and I will try again after the renovations are completed. THE HOTEL WAS UNDER CONDTRUCTION AND WE WERE NOT ABLE TO PARK IN THE PARKING LOT..INSTEAD WE HAD TO WALK FROM ACROSS THE STREET AT MIDNIGHT WITH 5 SLEEPING CHILDREN... THEN THE CONSTRUCTION BEGAN AT 7 AM .... I AM SO UPSET ABOUT MY STAY...IT IS A GOOD THING IT WAS PRE PAID OR I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID

Hated that they were remolying the hotel and absoultely no parking had to walk a mile to the hotel

I decided to upgrade to a better hotel and only stay one night I could have stayed in several other hotels in the area for half the money and had a far better room and hotel. We were not informed that the hotel was under construction. I realize you need to make money and I wouldn't have minded staying in the hotel in the current condition for a DEEP […] discount. The carpets were dirty the fixtures were falling off the walls bath room was falling apart I will not even consider this hotel again and will be sceptical of any Ramada Inn in the future if this is the quality control that Ramada Inn has over its hotels Lisez la suite

waffles every day/ sink was not in great shape

A great hotel to stay at however while construction work is going on it is a bit of a hassle to gain access to and from the hotel.If you come back to the hotel after 9.30 PM.,there is no parking spots available and you then have to park near the shops at the entrance!!!
