Hotel à deux pas de la plage. Chambre très agréable, avec cuisine et soin repas, grande salle de bain et belle chambre. Dommage que le wifi soit payant. Cet hotel possède un excellent rapport prix/prestations/emplacement.

Une jolie chambre simple, design, avec un poisson dans son bocal, un patio, des meubles pratiques (table à repasser, nombreuses serviettes). Le matelas n'était pas super confort, et attention hôtel bruyant (ils jouent au bingo au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit, pour les couche-tôts c'est pas l'idéal). Mais on se gare facilement dans les environs, même si le quartier n'est pas très intéressant (en voiture c'est pas très grave). Mais à 20 euros de plus qu'un motel traditionnel c'est quand même une belle affaire, et un lieu assez unique.

La "chambre" est en fait une vraie suite qui comporte un séjour, une cuisine équipée, un bar-table, un coin bureau, une chambre à coucher et une grande salle de bain. Le lit est un king size super confortable. Il y a aussi un balcon où on peut prendre un thé tranquillement. Le seul hic de la chambre, c'est que le bruit de la climatisation est incroyablement fort! Heureusement, on arrive en avril, pas besoin d'allumer la clim tout le temps. À propos du petit déjeuner, le choix est satisfaisant (il y a même du riz et des nouilles instantanés!), mais le service "œuf fait sur place" est disponible seulement dans la semaine.

l amenagement du complexe est tres agreable :des allees arborees entre chaque batiments . des chambres propres .des lits pas assez larges pour 2 personnes.un petit dejeuner peu varie , manquant de pain a griller :et un seul grille pain ! un hotel entierement ferme :une grille pour rentrer .sinon hotel a conseiller pour des personnes qui ne demandent pas le luxe ,mais tout est bien propre et nous n avons pas ete gene par aucun bruit .

"Bien situé, gérants très sympas"
L'hôtel est tout d'abord bien situé par rapport au centre ville, car il est possible de le rejoindre en 5/7 minutes en train, depuis l'hôtel. De plus, il est facile à trouver, car tout près de la sortie d'autoroute (A8). Aux alentours, il s'agit d'une zone hôtelière... donc pas grand chose. Mais en face l'hôtel, il y a un restaurant méxicain super […] sympa ! Les gérants de l'hôtel sont très sympathiques et de bons conseils pour se déplacer dans San Diego et voir telle ou telle chose. Quant à la chambre, elle est très simple, mais assez spacieuse. La literie est agréable. Bémol : le petit déjeuner. Il est inclus, mais il y a très peu de choix (et ce n'est pas excellent). Le + pour les voyageurs de passage : la laverie. Peu couteuse et bien pratique quand le voyage doit encore durer 10 ou 15 jours. Nous recommandons cet hôtel. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Padre Trail Inn à San Diego"
Bien placé dans Old Town - beau quartier animé sous influence Mexicaine- qui permet de sortir dans le quatier à pied. Egalement à quelques minutes en voiteure des autres centres d'intérêt. Belle piscine.
Really good hotel for a week-end. I enjoy my trip in San Diego and I appreciated the quality of my room. It's just at 10 minutes in car to Downtown and the personal are friendly. I've had a good experience and I don't regret to have chosen this hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was decent, the furniture and matress needs to be upgraded. The location was excellent which is very close to Sea World and San Diego Zoo.

"Great Location"
I loved that it was just down the street from the trolley station and there were several restaurants within walking distance, too. The beds and bedding weren't very comfortable, which is why I gave the "room comfort" a lower rating. But overall, for the price and location, I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel will work if you plan for 1 overnight stay because the beds were very uncomfortable. Now I understand that they are going through a renovation so I should have asked for a remodeled room maybe that would have been better. The hotel is old but clean. The staff is very nice. Loved being able to walk to shops and dinning. Thank you to the staff member at the front desk who offered extra towels.

We were very happy we selected this hotel. We felt safe and surprisingly quiet. The complimentary breakfast was ample. The staff helpful. Our nerves intact as driving was not a problem for our desired destinations. We might suggest a microwave in the room as would have enjoyed a warm drink. Overall happy for the experience.

"Walking close to Trolly, Food, Shopping"
Nice continental breakfast each morning and staff is quite friendly and interested in making your stay pleasant. Inn is located w/in 1 mi of frwy off ramp, which was great. We arrived, parked and never drove our car until we checked out. Located 1/2 block from Old Town, several restaurants, shopping and trolly tour, which is perfect for sight seeing […] a lot of places, in a short time, without the drive. I arrived at the room late in the day and when I turned over the blanket on the bed, there was a little red ant, then a few minuntes later another on the pillow. "Party"
The first night we were there some people had a party in the parking lot until late after calling the front desk and asking them to handle it, which didn't happen another guest convinced them to turn down the music. The shower was very low had to duck down and I am 5'4. Bed was hard and left my back sore.

I was very disappointed in the hotel, on the hotel description it stated "The 100 air conditioned rooms" once we got checked in the room was very stuffy and uncomfortable. I tried to turn the A/C on and no cold air was coming out, so I went to the front desk to notify them. I was told "the A/C is only seasonal here is a fan and open the door" the fan […] was an 8" fan, not to mention I am a single mother of 2 young girls I am not going to open my door and leave it open. I pulled up the hotel description and went back to the office let's just say they didn't care. "VACATION"
THE MAIDS WERE THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE THERE. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB AND OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. ON THE OTHER HAND THE FRONT DESK OFFERED US SEA WORLD TICKETS AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, BUT WHEN WE GOT TO SEA WORLD THE TICKETS WERE EXPIRED AND WE ENDED UP STANDING AT THE CHECK IN GATE FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR WHILE THEY TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. SO WE […] WASTED AT LEAST AN HOUR WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT IN THE PARK. WHEN MY HUSBAND NOTIFIED THE MANAGEMENT THEY SIMPLY APOLOGIZED AND OFFERED NO TYPE OF COMP IN ANY WAY. I GUESS THEY DON'T REALIZE HOW INCONVENIENT IT WAS FOR US SINCE IT WAS OUR VERY FIRST VACATION AND TRIP TO SAN DIEGO WHERE EVERY MINUTE WE HAD COUNTED. Overall the location was good and the front desk staff were extremely courteous, but the hotel seemed to be in need of a little maintenance. The bathroom door would not close all the way and the shower temperature fluctuated pretty drastically between very hot and freezing. I found this motel from hotel.com. It is the one of, if not the, cheapest I can found. I did not expect much. But, Immediately getting into the room, I was surprised for the cleanliness and tidiness. The furniture are also in very nice condition. It is one of many hotels surround the freeway 8 in old town. But luckily, the Taylor street turns south […] at the end. So this hotel enjoys the convenience of the freeway, but do not inherit the noise from the freeway Hotel staffs are polite and friendly. They also provide free breakfast. The location is perfect. There's a trolley a block away and Old Town is central to San Diego. The decor, rooms, lounge, restaurant- everything is outdated. The staff is warm and the cold continental breakfast hits the spot. My 4 year old and 2 year old loved having breakfast in the restaurant though I saw it as slow. I find this hotel great for the price, very big rooms that whist were a bit dated were very clean, loads of parking and very helpful check in staff. Location is great for the old town (1 min walk) much better then staying on the hotel ring down the road 9/10

This is an older property, but is well kept. It was clean, comfortable, and had no odd odors, and was properly serviced every day. I admit, I cheat, and always leave a tip for the maids...it's a job I wouldn't want. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was miniscule, but I am larger than most folks. I only had breakfast one day, BUT it was a decent meal for a reasonable price. There are other options within a short driving distance, and Old Town is literally across the street for dinner. Friendly staff, however the wireless internet was so inconsistent as to be unreliable even in the lobby. I'm on vacation, but still need to keep up with business. Otherwise, low cost meets basic needs. Nothing special.

This is an older motel that is close to everything. It is walking distance to Old Town, the Old Town Transit Center (with the San Diego Trolley, Coaster, and Pacific Surfliner commuter trains). It is within a couple miles of Downtown, Mission Bay, San Diego Bay, Sea World, and Balboa Park. I have easily and safely biked from the motel to most of the […] interesting spots. There is a Target and Fashion Mall shopping center not far away. There is not much street noise, but thin walls allow some neighbor noise through. Bring ear plugs, just in case. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room design is a bit odd with a tiny bathroom counter and a giant closet which contains the fridge, microwave and hair dryer. we stayed 2 nites 02/17/12. The room was clean,the beds were soft and we walked the neighborhood. (at night).we asked for extra towels ,we got them,we asked for a roll away,we got it.the breakfast was what to be expected.cold cereal,fruit muffins,and juice.seaworld is like 5 minutes away. they get 5 stars from us.GREAT JOB
