Smell of curry in reception, not for our evening meal or breakfast! Room was not serviced on one of the days. Air conditioning had to compete with a large radiator, and was too noisy to leave on at night. Noisy in the early hours of the morning.

Despite the other reviews, I found this place great. Really close to the Amtrak station, close to cafes and restaurants. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were clean.

While this hotel is very close to the Amtrak station and the town centre, so extra convenient if you don't have a car, other patrons were so noisy through the late evening and into the night that it is not a place to stay for a restful sleep. this place is close to the train station so it gets loud and downtown shops are nearby so you can walk to downtown without driving. The room I had was clean and good for an overnight stay. The bed was good too.

We were pleased by the location of the hotel downtown Flagstaff. The noise from the trains going by at all hours was about our only complaint. Although, when I booked the room through Hotels.com I requested 2 Queen Beds and we were only given 1 Queen Bed upon check-in. The woman at the desk said there were none available but then was able to give us […] 1 King Bed since another guest had not checked in yet. The front desk lady was late to respond and borderline rude. I ordered a king bed online and got place into the last open room downstairs that was a double....she told me it was a queen....NOT... the second floor was open.......the smoke detector was broken and lying on the floor when she opened the room door for me, saw it, and ignored it...(city code […] violation)....no hand soaps in the bathroom and no wash clothes....only reason to stay here is proximity to Amtrak station for a 4:30 a.m. train... very close to railway so good for the early morning connection, the room was nice than expected from the outside of the hotel except I couldn't figure out how to turn on the heating so was pretty cold. Otherwise not bad at all!

I wasn't expecting much, Rodeway Inn is a great cheap room usually. This time however I ended up with a room with a heater that just blew recycled air and the sheets were dirty. Not just a spot or two but both sheets had many black spots, and the blanket was utterly disgusting.

Hotel is a little older but it has a GREAT location! It was well worth the $! Will definitely stay again!

Location was convenient to the downtown area for shops, bars and restuarants. The room was noisy from train traffic off and on all night. Bathroom was very basic with no shampoo and no hair dryer

Probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Aside from the easy access to downtown Flagstaff, this hotel offered little else. Cramped parking lot for any car larger than a compact(forget it if you have a truck). Dimly lit, dingy room. Filthy carpet. Barely enough space to put a suitcase on the floor without having to walk over it. No outlets […] in the tiny bathroom. The pillowcases had hair on them so we called for fresh linen(??) and the replacements also had hair on them. Thank goodness our AC unit worked during the winter visit. Lisez la suite

The parking was terrible and we were almost stuff waiting on the monster truck to leave so we could get out of our parking spot. Room was postage stamp size but bed comfy and small tiled shower was nice. Vanity behind bathroom door. Manager was very hard to understand. Did have microwave and refrig in room but no blow dryer. There was no Wi Fi

We wanted to be downtown and we were. This hotel is convenient walking distance to the square, all restaurants and in our case to our daughters home. We could hear the trains at night, there was a brawl outside our window in the alley and as we were right by the stairway to the 2nd floor we often heard people coming in later or leaving early in the […] morning. I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it's ok if you can get it cheap enough. The rooms are simple but clean and you can walk to downtown. This time, I accidently reserved a room for the wrong night. I called the hotel less than 15 minutes after making the reservation and the was rude to me and blew me off. They wouldn't let me speak with the manager […] and never called me back. Knight's Inn is just down the street and is just as clean and simple and usually the same price. The staff at Knight's Inn is usually way more friendly and helpful. Lisez la suite

Cons: Rooms very small; located on one of the busiest intersections in Flagstaff and near heavily traveled train tracks. Small parking lot. Pros: reasonable rates, clean and fairly comfortable rooms with fridge, microwave, WiFi. Trains don't blow their horns in Flagstaff any more, which greatly reduces the annoyance factor. Very convenient to downtown […] shops, restaurants, and bars. Overall - acceptable but only if you want to be located downtown, there are better places to stay in Flagstaff. Note, the location map online is in error, it shows the other Rodeway location about 1/2 mile away. This hotel is directly across the street from the train station. Lisez la suite

This motel is run down, the rooms are tiny and it is located a stones throw away from the RR tracks off of Route 66.

Parking is bad. Room was in bad shape. Had large puddle in the middle of the floor and parts of the carpet pulled up. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Rooms are small and the front desk employees are not friendly however for the price the hotel is ok. Perfect for one night.

Hotel in poor physical condition with unfriendly staff. Cramped, poorly equipped rooms. I will not be staying here again.

It wasn't the cleanest looking hotel. The staff wasn't incredibly friendly either. Also, there is a train that runs by the hotel and blows its horn at all hours of the day and night. It didn't bother me so much because I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, but I'm sure it would be a problem for others.

Rooms are small but clean and inexpensive.
