We stayed for two nights. The food was excellent but it would have been nice to have the choice of a smaller menu as you feel, if there are four courses, you need to eat them all to get value for money. Can't really fault the hotel at all. Staff wonderful. Food wonderful,. Hotel inside wonderful Room excellent. There are 2 things that could be improved upon which are minor, 1. We would have preferred larger towels i.e. bath sheets. 2. Toilet paper quality was poor. The only other thing that I certainly didnt like was the continued presence of 1 or […] two gentlemen rather worse for drink stationed round the side of the hotel where we parked the car. For everyone who likes to use the spa; I used the swimming pool which was fine but found the stream room not to be on and took a while to start heating up. A lovely hotel, excellent staff who were attentive and efficient. The food was excellent, well presented and a good menu choice. This is a super base for exploring the surrounding countryside and is close to a number of golf courses (if you get the weather!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Empire. The room had every convenience we could wish. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The swimming pool and spa were excellent. It was a shame that the restaurant didn't have a nice view, it was rather dull. "Short break"
The Hotel needs a revamp,very tired looking.We stayed here about eight years ago and it was just the same. The public lounge area is very comfortable but but very off putting and lacking in atmosphere.It needs some background music at least ,there was a piano there but not once was it played. Booked into this hotel for sentimental reasons - mum worked here many years ago. Bit disappointed at first to be allocated annexe but it actually worked out very well - on ground floor and nice little front garden to sit in to to relax in sunshinte. Dear Sir/ Madam We found the pool restaraunt bar the areas we used during our stay clean and comfortable staff in the bar restaraunt and reception very helpful and friendly, our room No 6 was clean tidy and comfortable, was a little disapointed with some of the furnishings need upgrading such as the pullys for the heavy curtains where very stiff and […] one was hanging of the wall and the corner wall unit shabby and the doors didn;t close. having said that we would stay there again. This is a decent hotel with free parking in the back of the hotel. The hotel is atop a small hill with a great view of the main town. However, one of the highlights has been the dining […] experience at the main hotel. They offer a 3 or 4-course menu that offers several options. I am a foodie. It was hands down the best food I have EVER eaten anywhere in the UK. Not the typical food, but tasty, nicely seasoned and the owner of the restaurant was terrific! llandudno is a nice town with great views and a lot of shops along the main road that leads to the hotel. Great location - 2 mins from tramway,5 mins from the prom and at the top of the main shopping street. Even had a sea view if you looked out sideways from the window.. Nice hotel, which was a bit of a surprise. Decked out with some risque paintings, an ornate swimming pool (with steam room and sauna) and a large, comfortable bar.
