Sol Princesa Dacil - Arona

All was good except food, especially breakfast: poor selection, poor quality... Coffee - AWFUL!

Hotel generally good. Clean but looking tired. Food was just adequate - nothing out of the ordinary.

Very out dated facia and rooms (well the room we had). Bed very uncomfortable although no loud sounds to stop us sleeping. Maid service very good and room cleaned to high standard. Food in restaurant not good quality or varied seems to cater for people who don't want to try local food. We were not expecting too much in such a big hotel, but it felt really spacious. The rooms were better than adequate, the hotel and grounds were spacious, the food good and varied, restaurant never too busy.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room had a wonderfull view - partly on the sea partly on the mountains. The air conditioning was working properly. Meals and choice of food were really huge. The only thing I didn't like was a very cold water in the swimming pool. You couldn't swim at all as it was freezing in the water, alltough the temperture […] outside was about 25 degrees. The trade mill in the gym didn't work as well. Despite of that they really overcharged for using of WiFi - 1 hour cost 4 EUR. If you wanted to use the stationary PC located in the grounf floor it cost 1 EUR for 7,5 minutes. And the most radiculos thing - to borrow an iron they asked me to pay 15 EUR. So I didn't really feel well on new years eve as I decided not to pay that to simply profit makers. Lisez la suite

Overall, comfortable and OK for a week family holiday. Food was reasonable (only a bit like a college canteen with noise and people getting their food). Rooms were cleaned every day. We didn't use the indoor bar - but it looked OK. didn't use outdoor pool as it was freezing and packed with families (not very relaxing so we headed for the beach most […] days where sea was much warmer). We spent two weeks in the Princesa Dacil, the location was good. Unfortunatly the basic things you would expect in a hotel room, you had to rent eg fridge. We were not aware that only the top three floors had air conditioning, would not recommend the hotel to friends.

The hotel is in a good location and has a very good pool area, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. We had a standard room with "no frills" which was clean and adequate and went for the half board option. However we stayed when the dining room floor was being retiled which did not help our dining experience as different parts were roped off each day. […] Meals were OK but never very hot and it felt more a cafeteria than a dining room - no tablecloths etc. We would recommend anyone staying here to self cater. We used this as a one-night stop-over before moving on. Good position with easy access to restaurants etc. High-rise 1970s style hotel - a bit tired and shabby. We had a very small room which was fine for one night but couldn't have stayed in it for a longer holiday. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The Dacil is a 70s block so its footprint and structure can' t really be changed without dynamite and a wrecking ball. Its undergoing refurb (and has been for about 2 years), but stays open while it is going on. I had no real problems, so its discreet - which is probably why its taking so long. Food is OK, if a bit repetative, but you won't starve. […] All in all a standard 3*, - don't expect 5* luxury, or a 1* hovel and it should meet requirements. Lisez la suite

Värsta sortens charterhotell som uppfyller alla dina fördomar om charterresans baksidor. Hotellet dessutom byggt i klassisk DDR chick! Frukosten; inte bra, men folk såg glada ut ändå. Vi bodde en natt och var glada när vi kom därifrån!

Hotellet motsvarade förväntningarna. Det ligger bra till och har nära till stranden och restaurangerna. Frukosten var bra (vi hade endast frukost). Lugnt hotell där det bor mest äldre. Sängarna hårda. Rummet välstädat.

Fik værelse med dør uden håndtag til naboværelset (sådan et man kan bruge som dobbelt-fam.værelse) ret lydt. Larmende skydedøre både til altan, badeværelse og skab - tilsyneladende også i naboværelser. Støj fra parkeringspladsen foran hotellet, fra transport og køkken. Utrolig dårligt vedligeholdte solstole, især taget i betragtning, at det er et "sol-hotel" […] med solterasse, samt temmelig generende, rådden lugt fra køkkenet(?) på samme terasse. Ingen roomservice eller som de i en velkomstfolder reklamerer med, solarium. Kedelig mad, men klart målrettet de mange britiske pensionister der gæster hotellet. Havde problemer med nøglekortet på udtjekningsdagen, da det blev inaktivt en time før man skulle tjekke ud, og man måtte henvende sig flere gange i receptionen for at få det aktiveret. Helt OK, förutom frukost, speciellt kaffet. Man undrar hur man får till det..... och mörka brödet, inte så himla fräscht! Men ett bra läge,även om en balkong mot norr var lite trist. Och detta eviga tjafset om man har betalt deposition för fjärrkontroll! Mitt tips är: begär kvitto, även om det ska vara avskaffat!

Resepsjonen er lite service vennlige

Mycket trevlig personal & rent och fint hotell men alldeles för hög musik och skrikande personal i högtalarna vid poolbaren på kvällarna. Blev tyst först kl 12 på kvällarna. Internet fungerade bra men tyvärr bara vid receptionen.

Hotellet er nedslidt med meget små standardværelser. Restauranten meget kedelig og maden var slet ikke varm.
