Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.
Une pièce d'identité officielle avec photo et un dépôt de garantie en espèces ou par carte de crédit sont requis à l'arrivée pour couvrir tous frais imprévus.

"Peu faire mieux!"
Décor impressionnant mais, malheureusement, le service ne suis pas! Le wi-fi ne marchait pas dans la chambre, le signal de la télé n'était pas extraordinaire, le sèche-cheveux était cassé et l'autre que l'on m'a donné produisait seulement de l'air froid! On entend trop le bruit des voisins, surtout dans les couloirs. Il y a du Nescafé pour le petit […] déj et la salle est trop petite quand l'hôtel est plein alors on vous installe dans une autre, vide et triste, et il faut tout porter soi-même. Belle déco baroque pour cet hôtel situé un peu à l'écart du centre mais le bus s'arrête à coté et le métro est à 10 min à pied.La chambre était très belle, tout était propre et on avait une baignoire ! l'hotel est de bonne qualité, mais si la chambre pour deux était parfaite, l'autre pour une seule personne était vraiment très petite (étonnant surtout pour un quatre étoile). "Disappointing"
My daughter and I were traveling together. When we checked in, we went to our room only to discover that instead of the two twin beds we requested when we booked, we had one twin bed. We went back down to the desk where we got an arguement. She showed me a paper that said one or two twin beds. I showed her mine that said two twin beds. The reservation […] was for two adults. After about a half hour, she reluctantly gave us another room. The second room was not nearly as nice as the first one (not withstanding the bed situation). It looked like the hotel was originally two different hotels that were later combined. Half of the hotel was nowhere near as nice as indicated on the hotels.com website. Our room was in the worse half. The room was small but OK. The bathroom was uncomfortably tiny. The shower was so small you could barely stand in it without touching the walls. We stayed here for our last night in Italy after arriving from Florence. The property is well laid out and very ornate. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. "A Very Pleasant Stay."
A great little boutique hotel with a very baroque atmosphere. It was a very comfortable place to stay and their staff were very helpful to assist with recommendations and planning agenda's whilst in Rome. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city so to commute to the areas of interest you would need to either walk for approx. 30 minutes or […] catch the Metro which was only a 5 minute walk away. For those with a life-line to the cyber world you will struggle to gain web access, even though Wi-Fi is available and free the range is poor and most rooms don't have a signal. You generally would need to hang around the communal lounge area to get an average signal and even then it's so-so. Breakfast - the staff were very welcoming and pro-active, as for the range of food well it wasn't that great. Unless you're in to eating cakes and super-sweet pastries then you'll be left slightly hungry. Saying that they do offer savoury options of cold meats and a bacon & egg plate at an additional cost although I wouldn't bother because they're not very nice (processed meats and super salty eggs). The road outside the hotel is busy and noisey if your room is on that side it is in a less expensive area for eating out yet has a bus stop outside that takes you to all the main sights cheaply and easily. "Excellent option for visiting Rome"
The hotel is excellently located 20 mins walk easy walk from the central railway station. There is also a metro station with 10 mins walk to get directly to the old city and a bus stop right out side. The area is not as touristy as others so prices in the hotel (based on my experience) and in the surrounding area were very reasonable. The hotel is lovely […] and the staff very kind and helpful. The roof top bar is a nice place to relax and is open until 01:00 every night. Breakfast is good although espreso from a Nespresso machine is an absolute travesty in this country. The only serious problem is that my room was quite noisy when people were in the corridors and the cleaning staff thought it acceptable to have conversions at full volume outside my door at 8.00am on Sunday morning. Staff were helpful and polite.Public areas are well maintained and grand but the bedroom was elegant but shabby especially the bathroom.Toiletries provided were minimal and basic. The worst point was breakfast which was poor in quality and very limited in choice. No fresh fruit in Rome in August ! Nothing but bread and sticky cakes. "Fantastic hotel!"
This is a lovely hotel in a good location. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which gives you easy access to all the main attractions of Rome. Our room was exactly like the pictures on the website, my only criticism of the room would be the seal around the bath and shower made it look a bit grubby and not in fitting with the rest of the room […] and hotel which was gorgeous. All the staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. I would recommend the hotel and would use it again if I ever am lucky enough to go back to Rome. Tips: Nice, reasonable restraunts in neighbouring streets. A great little pizza shop about 50 yds from hotel. If you use the bus you need to buy tickets from the machine at the bus stop and then put them in a machine on the bus to be validated. Apparently there is a 100 Euro fine if the conductor gets on and you haven't got a ticket or it isn't validated. I wouldn't bother with a guide for the Collesseum but would for the Vatican. "Amazing city break"
Location was great, staff were friendly and polite. The hotel was clean and well maintained all though the view was not that good from our room which was a superior room, but there again we were not in the room all day as we went exploring the wonderful city so not too bad. "An acceptable hotel, but not 4* quality."
Overall the hotel was of an acceptable quality, the rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage, the air conditioning was great in one room of our two rooms but struggled to keep the second room at a comfortable temperature, on asking at reception to check it, they said that they would fix it but there was no difference. The bathrooms were small but […] well equipped with everything that is required except the fact that the showers were tiny, no room to move in them at all. The bar on the roof top is nice and well priced, and a good way to relax late in the evening. The only problems were that renovations being undertaken in the hotel were noisy from approx 7:30am and the breakfast was not of a suitable standard, the pastries tasted stale and the bacon and eggs were of a very poor standard, cold (being kept warm by 2 candles under the big silver tray) and the bacon was just like slices of ham with bones in it. Location was great, right beside Porta Pia, with plenty of beautiful restaurants within a 3 min walk of the hotel door. We stayed for 4 nights-there were 4 of us in the room. Found the room damp and darkish-however the air conditioning was amazing!! Our rate included the breakfast but we missed out on it on 2 days because we slept in with the time change and the breakfast cap-i-tan was somewhat militant about not having anything after 10 am. I didn't understand about […] them making photocopies of our passports and thought they forgot to give them to us. The person at the front desk did give us some excellent advice on how to get to Positano- we took the train to Naples and then Salerno and then a ferry boat to Positano which was absolutely wonderful. "AC or Fan did not work for 4 nights"
The weather in Rome during June 2012 was very hot around 33 degrees celcius. The AC was not working in the room and when asked at the reception the lady said it will be rectified within a day. The. Breakfast at hotel is not bad, good selection. My only gripe is the room was very small for 4 persons.
