"Very pleased with the services, the staffs, and th"
My 8 and 10 years old children and my dear husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2012. The location is great but you might be able to find something better closer to the city. The hotel is nicely situated, near the landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain, a 10 min walk to the Colosseum and about 10 min walk to the Termini for buses and trains. […] It’s on Via Nazionale, a very busy street with a convenient bus stop right a front. We took busses almost everywhere and taxi at night. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly reception that helps us with the city map. The lobby is pleasantly decorated with ancient roman style décor. I cannot say enough about the staffs; they were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided a roller bed with no extra charge...which is unheard of in Europe. The room was very nice, very clean, good size with a small shower which was difficult to manage. The beds were just a typical. The room was equipped with a fridge which was convenient but an expensive price tag. I found the room to be a little bit stuffy but the big French window helped, until I realized noise from the street can be too much if you leave it open. The breakfast was a typical Italian hotel style more of a quantity and needs improvement on the quality...I wouldn't pay extra for it. Overall, we were very pleased with the services, the staffs, and the location…we would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite
"Beware! We were given a sub standard room!"
We were given a prison cell sized room with a camp style bed for our Adult daughter. The wallpaper had numerous stains in a myriad of colors. The bathroom was so small that you had to complete a 90 degree maneuver to use the toilet. The bath had been regrouted so many times it looked disgusting. We were counting down the days we were to spend there, […] six in total, rather than embracing our first visit to Rome. We expressed our disappointment in the quality of the room. And we were moved after the first night. Well, you would think we were sent to another hotel, as our new room was lovely. The location of the hotel is perfect. However unless you are prepared to complain, do not stay here. Once you have paid upfront, I think they will attempt to give you an unrenovated room. Lisez la suite
"Great Location"
Very good, great location, helpful staff and clean rooms. Only small downside was fragrance thing in bathroom which was over-powering. Otherwise all good!
"Eurostar Rome"
We stayed here for 5 days with two small children. The hotel was in a good location and close to many attractions, the staff were friendly, in particular the resturant staff, who made us feel at home and helped in every way they could. The breakfast was good too. The only downside was that the room was small for a triple and the room was also not build […] well, our 1 year old managed to pull off the door skirting. The Aircon did not work! Lisez la suite
"close but not comfortable"
This hotel has amazing breakfast buffet. Don't skip the chocolate croissants. THe bed was not super comfortable. But the room was very quiet despite being on a busy street. The hotel is in a good location close to sites, but eating nearby was tricky. Some really bad, some very good. Get reccommendations!
"Worth the stay"
Fantastic location, within walking distance to many of the famous attractions. The A/C in the room was not working but did not make a difference at the time as the weather was beautiful. Our deal included a breakfast buffet with a great spread. Definitely worth the stay on a reasonable budget if only traveling as a couple or maybe three.
"Great location and staff, terrible bed..."
I'll start with the good points: the hotel is at a very convenient location, walking distance to the train station, Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum, and a few other plazas. Also very close to the metro station, which gives you easy access to the Vatican and Spanish steps. Service and food were nice, too. The bad: their idea of a king bed is […] to take two twin bed-frames and put a (very thin) spring mattress on it. The mattress itself was stiff, and you can actually feel each spring when you're lying on it. The middle section of the bed is higher (because of the bed-frames), so it's impossible for two people to sleep on it while close together. We ended up sleeping on separate parts of the bed... This is absolutely not acceptable, even for a small motel, let alone a 4-star hotel. Lisez la suite
"Eurostars Rome, Italy"
Excellent Value for Money, friendly people/staff, good proximity to most tourist destinations. Only one small thing against, our room was on the small side, but considering the amount of time spent in the room, this was a small setback only
"A very enjoyable stay."
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was well fitted out and decorated but a little cramped due to the size of the queen sized bed, but the bed itself was very comfortable.
"Good hotel"
the location was great, room is quite small but clean. The staff was friendly.

"Overall, it was OK"
My only complaint with this hotel was an odour in the bathroom. It made my stay uncomfortable. Otherwise the location is great and the staff are friendly. Internet access was easy and worked well.
"Good location and nice staff"
Unlike other reviewers, I had great experiences with the staff being extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, train/taxi advice, and granting a late checkout. The hotel is in a great location and is pretty enough. My only downside was the room size - mine was small. I don't mind the small so much, but it just makes it feel that much less luxurious/relaxing […] when you are in the room (I was on a business trip so coming home to a relaxing room was important). Other than that, experience was fine. Lisez la suite
"A calm oasis in a busy city"
My wife and I booked seven nights at a small hotel near the Vatican, but we checked out after a couple of nights because the hotel was awful. We were lucky to get accomodations at the Eurostars International. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay there, and we will make it our residence whilst in Rome on subsequent vacations.
"Eurostars international hotel in Rome,"
Very central location, close to coliseum & metro station,15 min walk from other attractions. Staff very helpful & friendly! Very clean and comfortable!
The only issue we had with our stay was the WiFi internet which did not work on our floor but worked well in the business area off the lobby. An exceptional value and we would gladly stay there again
"Eurostars International Palace in Rome"
This hotel has a good location that is within walking distance of the metro. It is clean and impressive looking on the inside and outside. The breakfast was large with a wide variety of foods. My only complaint was that the bathroom had a strange odor when I first arrived, it may have been related to a cleaning solution.
"worth its price"
A nice hotel for the price with ok service and excellent location for a tourist. We got a room the 1st night in which the heat was at about 30 C, and could not be turned down because of malfunction - no worries, we quickly got another room the next day, and bad luck struck again, this time the bathroom was oozing of a mold stench...however, we would […] rather call it bad luck and think most rooms are in good shape. So dont hesitate to book this one, only be prepared to change rooms... Lisez la suite

"great hotel, great location"
i was very satisfied with everything at the hotel. the hotel is very elegant, i guess it was recently renovated because everything looked new in the common areas as well as in the room. the room was the cleanest room i have ever stayed at, it was spotless. location is terrific, only 5-10 minuts walking from every major attraction, and even there's a […] bus stop in front of the hotel which was very halpfull. breakfast was very good i highlly recommand it! This is a good hotel for those looking for a convenient and affordable place in Rome. The staff was helpful and the room was decent and comfortable. Close to many of the sights you might want to see.
"Location Location Location"
Metro up the street, 64 bus right across street to Vatican, walking distance to many places. The food was horrible and beyond over priced. There is a supermarket right across the street for fruit, water and the like. The staff was friendly, and eager to offer assistance with directions, etc. I feel I lucked out staying at such a nice place.

"Eurostars International Rome - GREAT location"
My husband and I are both hoteliers in the US so we have fairly discriminating tastes relative to hotels, but when traveling abroad we really only care about cleanliness, security and most importantly LOCATION. This hotel has all of those things. We had an excellent location where we could easily walk to all the sites, shopping and dining. The staff […] was very pleasant and helpful including directions and booking transport back to the airport. There was a presence of staff and security throughout the day/night that made us feel safe on an otherwise busy, city street in Rome. The general maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The room size was very small and traditional in taste, but to be expected given the age of the city and hotel. For us it met our needs as a place to convene for sleep and showering. If you are looking for much more in a room, this isn't really the place. For those that take in the city and all it has to offer on your trip and don't spend a lot of time in the room . . . this will meet all your needs at a very reasonable price point. Lisez la suite
"Good location"
The hotel was in a good location within walking distance of the Colloseum. The rooms are small but modern and the bathrooms are extremely spacious compared to most bathrooms in hotels in Europe. If you need WiFi good luck getting a connection in your hotel room though. They stated they offered wifi but our signal would drop often both on our computer […] and on our smart phones. "Eurostar"
Long wait at check in but friendly staff. Included breakfast not served until after 8, which was too late for us trying to catch a train to the airport. Similar to many hotels in Italy, the room was stifling hot. Really helpful staff, nice hotel. Excellent location and walking distance from Termini, even with your luggage. We walked to every major attraction […] other than The Vatican. Lisez la suite

"Eurostars: Great Location"
We spent 3 nights at the Eurostars International Palace, Nov. 18-21, 2011. We rented both a double and a twin bed room and the double seemed to be a little larger or had a better floor plan. But, it is an old European-style hotel and by American standards the rooms are small. Both rooms showed heavy wear & tear in the carpeting, a minor complaint. The […] location is excellent for walking to most of the points of interest in the old city. The free continental breakfast was fine, except that the scrambled eggs were very runny on Sunday as the staff tried to keep up with a full house. One major complaint was that when we asked for ice the front desk told us it was available at the restaurant, but when we went there we were told there was no ice. Perhaps the machine was broken, but that should not have persisted for 3 days. We averaged $210 or so per room, a good price for downtown in a big city. There is a 3 Euro per person per night Rome city tax added on at check out. Lisez la suite

"rome hotel"
Room was small. No eiglish TV ( no BBC or CNN) I found this unusual for a 4 star hotel, Location was good.
"Good hotel from experienced traveler"
I travel 5 days a week and this hotel exceded my expectation. Cretrally located, great staff, fantastic buffett. Great value for the money.
"Eurostars International Hotel"
We were not at the hotel much but it was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We did not eat at the hotel. My husband went out and got us coffee and the most wonderful biscotti every morning at a little place around the corner - behind the hotel. Much cheaper than the 15 Euro they wanted to charge us for hotel breakfast!
"small rooms - bad hotel"
the location is good, breackfast is very good - but the rooms are very small- not recommendada
"Good location"
We stayed in several hotels throughout Italy and this was one of the nicer ones. It was a good location, away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but close enough to be able to walk or catch a bus or metro.
"It;s close to historical area"
good location, near the metro station, good buffet breakfast
"Small rooms but conveniently located"
The hotel is conveniently located and about 0.7 km from the Termini station. The rooms are clean though extremely small. The carpets in the common area are a still dusty. The reception staff is a little cold and typically there are just two of them surrounded by a bunch of people who have arrived....so be prepared to wait to check-in and check-out. […] The place offers free internet but you have to ask the reception when you check-in for the wireless userid and password. They do not tell you about it or offer it on their own. Also, while the hotel is on Via Nazionale, there is surprisingly no food joints around to grab a bite or even a cup of coffee. Overall a good value for the price if you can choose to ignore the coldness of the reception desk. Lisez la suite
"Great location, clean, free internet, AC"
The title says it all. Via Nazionale was perfect to catch buses to other locations, to stroll for shops or coffee spots. Walking distance to everything. The modern room was clean and neat - small but nothing more is needed in the hotel room. The bathrooms were spacious, bigger shower than most Italian hotels. Free internet and the reception will print […] for you! While the staff was not overly helpful, they were just fine, and we came knowing what we wanted to do, which was good. Definitely helped to get a great price from hotels.com! Lisez la suite

"Eurostars"
This hotel is located perfectly to see the sights of Rome! It's close to train station, a taxi stand is one block away. We were able to walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain is close. We took a cab to the Vatican to catch the early tour there but walked back, catching Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. The hotel has air, […] which was welcome as we visited in August. The shower was tiny... really tiny and the bed was very firm which was uncomfortable for me. Other than that this hotel was great. Lisez la suite
"Quite-Clean-Great Location-working A/C"
We ( 2 families with one child each) stayed at this Hotel at the end of July in 2 seperate rooms with double beds. It has very clean, the bathrooms were modern with hairdryers, clean towels and sheets. It was very convinient located and it was a 5 minute walk to the major tour buses that take you thru Rome with hop on and off stops. Across the hotel […] is a wonderful breakfast place (they speak english) serving scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and a great cappucino. It is a great place to start your day. Make sure to get tickets to the Coloseum and other attractions online before you arrive, you will not need to wait in line for hours. Just go up to the front line to a seperate entrance. Also get a 24 hour ticket to one of the tour buses and stay on them for a round trip, sit in the open air bus on top in the front row. A round trip is 1 1/2 hours long with a 20 minute stop at the vatican bus stop. Make sure to take an umbrella or hat, sunglasses and water with you. Rome is awesome!!! We will definetly stay at this hotel again next time we are in Rome!!!!!!! Lisez la suite
"Eurostars International Palace Rome"
Extremely small room - even for Europe standards, AC broke during our second night there and it took them 24 hr to repair, the hotel looked more like a students hostel than a 4 stars hotel. Didn't have enough towels in the room - only had one towel even when our reseervation was for two persons. We could hear noise from adjacent rooms and hallway. It's […] an OK hotel but not nearly as nice as their online pictures show and it's not a 4 stars hotel. Lisez la suite
"Eurostar International Palace-Great location!"
We stayed at this hotel twice once from June 26-28 and again July 11-13. Our irst room was clean and modern but so small my husband and I were literally tripping over each and the bags. When we checked out in June we told the person at the front desk that we were coming back in 2 weeks and if at all possible we wouldl ike a bigger room and/or one with […] a view. We returned on 11 July and were given a room with a main street view and it was HUGE even by American standards. I initially thought we had won the lotto. On closer inspection the room was dated and dirty. On my mattress I could feel every spring. The cover on the bed smelled dusty so I removed it and when I dropped it in a corner a cloud of dust went up! WIth that cover over the sheets they also smelled of dust. The bathroom was a tub with a hand held shower head, no curtain or door just a should high piece of plexiglass that was about 2 feet wide. Needless to say we flooded the bathroom every shower. The carpet was worn and frayed in spots and I imagine just as dusty as the comforter! There was a hole in the wall where it looks like they replace the hairdryer with a different model. Certainly not an American 4 star resort. However, what this hotel lacked in cleanliness it made up for in location. The bus stop is literally across the street to catch the bus to the Vatican. It's an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain and many other sights in Rome. It is directly on a main street where there is lots of shopping and places to catch a bite to eat. There is even a supermarket right across the street. I said I would recommend this hotel to others because of the location and the front desk staff who were very patient and always helpful. I would however hesitate if I was looking for somewhere just to wait on a flight or a cruise and possibly look somewhere else. Lisez la suite

We loved the central location of the hotel. It was virtually in the core of the city and only 4 blocks to train station.
