L'hotel est situé en dehors des routes de passage ce qui lui donne une tranquilité très appréciée. Mais l'inconvénient est qu'il faut avoir un GPS car il n'est pas facile d'accès. Le personnel est au petit soin pour vous, très aimable, disponible et parle un très bon français. La chambre normale est correcte avec un bon grand lit. Le petit déjeuners est largement correcte. Oostende est à 13km et Bruges 20km donc impeccable pour visiter. On y retournera surement mais en prenant cette foi ci la chambre avec jacuzzi !!!!

L'hôtel est sympa, notre chambre était très bien, propre. La salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire. Il est vrai que l'insonorisation n'est pas génial, on a entendu les gens qui passaient dans le couloir le matin à l'heure du petit dej'. Rien à redire sur l'accueil, le personnel était très agréable. Dans la salle du petit déjeuner, les fauteuils sont un peu abimés. Sinon le petit déjeuner est vraiment bon, pas énormément de choix mais tous les produits étaient de bonne qualité. Il manque sûrement un peu de charcuterie pour les amateurs (même s'il y en a). Au final on est très content d'avoir choisi cet hôtel ! Même si tout n'est pas parfait, il ne s'agit que de petits détails qui n'ont absolument pas perturbé notre nuit à l'hôtel.

Excellent accueil, toute l'équipe de la réception est sympathique et vraiment très serviable. Chambre très calme (donnant sur l'arrière) et spacieuse. Proximité immédiate du centre historique (à 5 mn à pied). Petit-déjeuner très cher, comme partout, mais à moins de 10 mn à pied, juste à côté de l'office de tourisme (situé près du château) le restaurant Bord'eau propose une très bonne qualité de petit-déjeuner à prix vraiment très raisonnable et avec une jolie vue sur la rivière.

Situation
Au cœur de Bruges, l'établissement Academie Hotel se trouve à quelques minutes de marche des sites Hôpital Saint-Jean - Musée Hans Memling, Eglise Notre-Dame et Minnewater. Les sites Musée Groeninge et Basilique du Saint-Sang se trouvent également à proximité.
Caractéristiques de l'établissement

Un hôtel agréable et bien situé dans la ville. Très calme. Près du biguinage et du musée Memling. Un accueil plutôt sympathique.
"Pour ma part , j'ai été abusé !"
L'hotel est clean sauf la chambre que l'on m'a attribué : il existait un gros dégat des eaux au plafond. Des personnes ont fait causette dans les couloirs pendant 20mn à 7h du matin le dimanche sans que personne n'intervienne. La réservation ne comportait soit disant pas le petit dej.

Un accueil très chaleureux dans notre langue, c'est très agréable. une chambre spacieuse, très propre, les lits sont très confortables.... le petit déjeuner est excessif mais une bouilloire électrique est à disposition dans les chambres . il y a une boulangerie juste en face de l'hotel.... Aucun endroit pour stationner son véhicule mais le parking (payant) […] de l'hotel est très pratique... surtout pour un voyage en moto comme nous... vraiment un hotel très bien à tout point de vue... on recommande !!!!!!! Un hôtel idéalement situe qui possède son propre parking. Attention, nombre de places limite. Il vaut mieux réserver. Seul point noir au tableau, l'insonorisation des chambres. On se sent très proche de son voisin...

Les quatres étoiles de l'hotel ne sont pas justifiées. Il s'agit plutôt d'un hotel deux ou trois étoiles Trés bon accueil. Hotel situé dans une rue calme Grande chambre pour une triple et sdb correcte mais WC dans la sdb Troisème lit "d'appoint" ! moquette au sol sale, Pd à 9 euros correcte mais attention pour les lèves tard, à 10h tout est débarrassé Hotel […] bien situé prés du Béguinage, Parking zone bleue à promimité , il suffit de changer l'horaire du disque toutes les quatre heures Lisez la suite

Ravi des prestations de cet hôtel très bien situé à Bruges. Le parking (obligatoire dans cette ville) appartient à l'hôtel et est à régler en supplément (15 euros/emplacement). L'ensemble des visites peuvent donc se faire à pied à partir de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner pantagruélique pour 9 euros/personne.

"Convenient location"
Within walking distance of most museums, restaurants and the Belfry (10 mins). The hotel has an underground car park (16€) or you can park at the convenient Central car park (8.70€ per day) and walk for 10 mins. Reception is friendly and helpful- the breakfast buffet at €12.50 is fair value.

People are nice there and the hotel actually locates in the centre of tourism places. It is quite easy to find if you check closely the map beforehand.
Good hotel, comfy room. There was a general transportation strike on the day we checked out so no trains were running, and no one mentioned anything. Not sure if they didn't know or what, but it was surprising to not get a heads up. Great location.

I stayed in the Academie with my wife and a friend. The room was spacious for 3 people. My only complaint is the bed was kind of old, a spring was sticking up through the mattress. Service was great, the breakfast was good. Location is perfect.

"Perfectly adequate hotel for the money"
Not the newest, not the oldest but a very acceptable room for the price. Clean and tidy and close to the main bits of Brugge without being on top of them. Would stay here again for sure. Staff very helpful and polite. Note: There is parking available here but it's cheaper and easier to park at the carpark under the IBIS on adjoining street Katelijnestraat […] which is about 90 seconds walk from the hotel. "Good location hotel in Bruges"
The Hotel was good, well placed and easy to find. My only real comment was that the parking had to be paid up front and credit cards were not accepted for under 30 Euros. This was a little frustrating as I was trying to save Euros to spend on other things. Aside from that, the hotel clean and the beds comfortable.
Great location in a quiet area of the city but just a pleasant walk to the city square. Very pleasant hotel with own parking.

The location of this hotel is perfect...10 minute walk from train station and 15 minute walk to town centre...the surrounding area is very quaint with great cafes and restaurants. Staff very helpful, answered all questions. Hotel good value for money for a city centre hotel. Central to all our needs. Bar good in evening. Would like to see it to its best advantage in summer as it has wonderful gardens. Would recommend it and will hopefully return next year. Did not have breakfast as we decided to explore and eat out. "Bruge"
As always I had a wonderful stay at the Academie Hotel. I was in the older section this time so the room was not as clean and we had problems with the lights in the bathroom, but the staff was terrific and fixed it even though it was late at night.

Nice hotel. Everything in Bruges is in a good location because its so small. The only problem with this hotel were the lights. They are weird. We never did quite figure out how to work them. Other then that it was a good hotel and a friendly staff. I'd stay here again.

I was very pleased with the Academie Hotel. The location was good, our room with three beds was very large for European standards containing a large, modern, and nicely decorated Bathroom, as well as sitting room for eating. The Academie Hotel was in a perfect location. It had it's own parking garage so if you have a car it is very convenient instead of trying to find a place within the town. We found the staff to be helpful and very nice. We did not opt for having breakfast at the hotel. We opted to find our own breakfast and ended up getting what we needed for alot less […] money. As with all of Europe a GPS is very helpful in finding the hotel. Depending on the time of day you may feel you are going the wrong way but keep going because it is worth it. A nice hotel in a great location!

Het Academie hotel is prettig gelegen in Brugge, net even uit het drukke centrum maar wel in de buurt van mooie historische gebouwen en in de buurt van meerdere parkeermogelijkheden (5 min. lopen van het station met de mogelijkheid van goedkoop parkeren). Het hotel zelf is erg gericht op volume en toerisme met gedateerde kamers, die ook nog eens niet […] 100% schoon zijn. Het ontbijtbuffet is wel goed en de receptie is virendelijk en behulpzaam. Echter voor een vier sterren hotel en het prijsniveau, hadden de kamers zeer zeker beter geoutileerd en schoner moeten zijn. Lisez la suite
"Super Ausgangspunkt für Sight-Seeing"
Das Hotel liegt perfekt um in Brügge Sight-Seeing zu machen. Man ist nicht mittendrin im Getümmel, aber so nah, dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Unser Zimmer (ein 3-Bett-Zimmer) war in Ordnung, nur der Teppich war ziemlich dreckig und eckelig. Die Servie-Kräfte im Hotel waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist umfangreich und […] lecker. Ich empfehle einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage zu mieten, wenn man mit dem eigenen Auto anreist, da das Parken in Brügge sehr teuer ist und nicht viele Parkplätze in der Nähe des Hotels zur Verfügung stehen.
