Bayview Hotel, Singapore - Singapour

Hotel très bien situé : à 2 minutes à pieds de la station Bras Basah, 5 minutes de Dhoby Gaut, et 12 minutes environ de City Hall. Buffet varié au petit déjeuner. Internet par ethernet assez lent dans les chambres. Chambres mal insonorisées, mais ca semble le cas partout à Singapour. En conclusion, une très bonne option.

Trés bien situé pour pouvoir visiter la ville avec la proximité de nombreux arrêts de bus. Ai regretté de pas avoir TV5 sur la télévision. Breakfast de qualité le matin avant d'attaquer les visites. Personnel très aimable et serviable.

The location is near the MRT station and near some important tourists spot. It is difficult to find hotel with free internet available in the rooms. The staff are kind too.

We were pleasurably surprised with the size of our room at this hotel. It's location is within easy walk of Chinatown, Orchard Road and Little India. I work on cruise ships so i know what standards these places should have. I was allowed to check in early which was a good thing. The room looked very tired, and i was put into a room that was opposite the lifts so everytime the lift comes to the floor you heard a bell and also the case of people congregate at the lifts can be heard inside the room. […] Also the floor outside the room was not carpeted and for some reason the cleaner likes putting his cart outside my room, great. I did ask for a better room with no success. Internet is very slow. Also there is a lot of building on one side of the hotel which starts early and also you cant see no Bay, not even from the top floor where the swimming pool is. But the pool was nice to swim in. Just and ordinary normal hotel. Clean and nice room. Pool top floor is small and you need key card to get in. Hotel is near by metro station so locations is good. Next block of hotel was going on construction work what made lots of noice from early morning untile evening.

Hotel is in a great location convenient to shopping sightseeing and transportation, but the rooms can be dirty, the beds/pillows uncomfortable and the breakfast is horrible. When I arrived after midnight and 22 hours of flight time, I found a dirty, stained bed sheet and an overall unclean room. the next day housekeeping corrected the situation. The […] breakfast was bad, odd taste and bad selection overall. better off going to the hawker center on the corner. find the extra pillows in the top shelf of the closet for some comfort, the pillows on the bed are useless. Pool was nice and empty like no one knew it existed. overall hotel was OK, but expensive for what it was, however about as low cost as I could find at the time and decent ammenities. For a three-star hotel, it was very comfortable.

Excellent location, walking distance to main attractions, or a quick cab trip. Would recommend a stay at this hotel.

This hotel was a good standard and good value for money. It is in a convenient location and there are quite a few restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

It was quick selection, quite expensive for what we got... If you look carefully you probably could find something better... The hotel was "clean" but VERY OLD!!! And DON'T TRUST the HOTEL PICTURES!!! Pictures are quite old and the rooms dont look like those they are worst! Included breakfast was flavourless... it seems that the cooking is performed […] by a cook... not a chef... You can find a better room for that price and you could go out to have breakfast outside your hotel and look for a cheap one... This hotel suited our budget. It was perfectly fine but nothing special. They have a huge array for breakfast but I personally found it a bit Asian for my tastes...weird I know being in Singapore and all...still I personally struggle with rice, noddles or curry for breakfast. We enjoyed the use of the pool and the small gym. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. They have a good system for storing bags if you need somewhere on the day you check out. We felt our luggage would be well watched. The location is fairly close to an MRT station Bras Brash which is a good way to get around. Also not to far from the shopping along Orchard Road. On the down side Bayview is in name only. There's no real view to speak of. Also the room had a musty smell, perhaps part and parcel in such a humid climate. A perfectly adequate hotel. A perfectly fine hotel in all respects. Pluss points from me for the roof pool and wireless access in the lobby. Nothing negative, but not wow. But decent hotel and decent price.

The Bayview Hotel Singapore was in a convenient location, close to public transansport, a good local food court and within walking distance to places of interest. The staff was pleasant and helpful. the room clean and spacious and free internet access as well as complimentary breakfast.

Room clean, was allowed to check in early which was most welcome after long haul flight to Singapore. Location is very handy especially now that Bras Basah MRT station has opened. The Bay View Hotel is brilliantly located and extremely close to anywere you would want to visit in Singapore. The Metro is around the corner "literaly" and a 24hr cafe and 7/11 next door was very handy. Some idiots complain there aren't enough English channels on TV. Location is perfect, breakfast is AWESOME, and while I could never get the free Wi-Fi in my room, it was still great to be able to have access to it in the lobby and at breakfast! The location could not have been better for us!

The Bayview Hotel in Singapore is clean, staff is attentive, and by taxi or by foot most sights are close-by. Nice place. Only stayed one night and only for a few hours. Room service food quality was only marginal.

I've stayed in Singapore hotels at twice the price with nothing better to offer than the Bayview. Everything was excellent. My only small negative comment is that the poolside loungers could do with foam matresses. Having arrived several hours before check in time, I waited by the pool until my room was ready. I had to travel to SG on a short notice, and had to scramble to book a hotel a day before my travel. i usually stay at hotels in Orchard Road, but most are fully booked and/or over my budget as I did not have time to arrange corporate rates. June 2010 , family of 4 . Used this hotel as a stopover on the way to Aus . An excellent stay , fab rooftop pool and rooms . Dont get too excited about the breakfast ! Its in a fab location with good cheap food right on the doorstep .

The hotel is located at a very strategic location which makes it very convenient for the tourists to visit the most popular spots easily. The staff is polite and extremely cooperative and the guests come from all the regions of the world making it a truly international hotel. The hygine of the rooms and the hotel is also well maintained. Even though it was my first visit to Singapore, I did not feel out of place at all. Hotel staff were at all times friendly helpful & courteous. The included buffet breakfast was substantial with lots of choice. Room service was prompt. The hotel location was convenient. It was just less than 5 minutes walk to Bras Bash MRT station. There was a Kopitiam Foodcourt beside this hotel. Minus points: We had booked 2 rooms to occupy total 4 adults and 2 kids (below 7 years old). One of the room was not cleaned up upon our arrival. However the staff stopped us on our last day there, claimed that kids were chargeabe for the breakfast as the room booking was for 4 adults only. There was no lift from car park to hotel lobby. Excellent facilities, very central location. Very close to new MRT Station Bras Basah though most places were close enough to walk to. Very comfortable room. Wanted to bring the shower home it was so powerful! No complaints at all.

바로 앞에 공사현장이 있어 시끄러운것 삐고는 그럭저럭 괜찮았다. 침구는 깨끗했고 트윈룸의 크기도 적당했고 위치도 적당했다. 단 샤워룸이 작아서 불편했고 샤워꼭지가 위에 고정된 형태라서 불편했다. 조식은 썩 훌륭하진 않았지만 먹을만 했다. 저렴한 가격의 호텔과 중심의 위치를 원하는 사람들에게는 만족할 만한 호텔이다.

Om man inte måste bo fancy utan i första hand är ute efter ett bra läge är det här ett helt ok ställe. Det är gångavstånd till Raffles, Orchard Road och Flyern. Dock kändes hotellet lite halvsunkigt. Det luktade ofta cigarettrök i badrummet som sedan spred sig i resten av rummet - troligen från grannar som tjuvrökte. Ljud från hissen hördes in i rummet […] och ombyggnation på gatan utanför var störande på dagtid (dock finns det ingen anledning att vara på hotellet under vaken tid). Vi bodde en natt här, läget var perfekt. Tunnelbanestationen låg bara några meter ifrån hotellet och det var mycket lätt att förstå sig på tunnelbanan. Man fick byta två gånger frå flygplatsen och hit men det gick hur lätt som helst! Rummet var fint! Enda som finns att anmärka på var att badrummen var lite äldre. Även handdukarna, men de var rena! Det […] var även lite kallt på natten för vi förstod inte hur man stängde av ac:n. Frukosten var stor, bra och väldigt fräsch! Personalen var mycket vänlig. Vi checkade ut på morgonen men kunde förvara våra väskor på hotellet under dagen. Och när vi kom för att hämta dem var de supersnälla, vi fick åka upp till poolen och duscharna uppe på taket och fick handdukar så att vi kunde duscha innan vi begav oss till flygplatsen. Fjädrarna i sängarna totalt slut, stack upp i ryggen på en av sänghalvan. Den andra sidan var sopm att sova i en grop. Frukosten för liten för alla gäster. Centralt läge och när till tunnelbana och taxistop precis utanför. Frukost på hotellet var bra med både europeiska och asiatiska rätter. Rummet var stort och sängarna sköna. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell.

Hotellet har några år på nacken och rummen är väldigt små. Men detta överskuggas av hotellets perfekta läge. Nära till det mesta så som tunnelbanestation, shopping, museum och 7eleven.

Bra hotell i centrala Singapore, gångavstånd till stora shoppinggatan. Superbra mat på ett foodcourt i hörnet vid hotellet till mycket lågt pris. Skulle absolut bo här igen. Jättestor Asiatisk frukost.
