Très bon accueil des propriétaires et chambres spacieuses avec espace cuisine. Parking gratuit. Proche des commodités et du walk of fame.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...

"My wife checked out after 1 night. TERRIBLE Motel"
I booked this motel ya I said motel, this place is the old Saddlewood motel. As soon as my wife saw it from outside she knew it would be even worse inside. I stayed optimistic and was very dissapointed in the condition of the room. I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone going with their kids, some of the people staying there looked like they were […] renting by the hour or for a party. "Not a 3 star hotel!! More like a 1 star!"
The beds are sooo hard! I could hardly sleep they were so uncomfortable. The carpet made my white socks black and there is a night club in the hotel. There were tons of people in questionable clothing. This is not a hotel to take children! It has easy access to the freeway and the staff was friendly but I would not go back.

The room was quite inexpensive. There was a mix-up at check-in--I reserved a room with king-size bed but only rooms with two queen-size beds were available. When I spoke to staff the next day, they gave me a king-size bed room promptly. The rooms with king-size bed are larger and more comfortable. The hotel is satisfactorily clean. "Guesthouse"
We decided to stay at the guesthouse because of the promotional price, the pictures on the website made the place actually look better than what it was. The buildings look old and rundown, one of the staff members was very rude, when I told here I had a reservation she told me " I bet you do". and walked away. Another lady came by and helped me, she […] was nice and helpful. The rooms were small and the ice machine that was near by didn't work. The place seemed more like a motel than anything. "Good spot for a quick overnight stay"
The hotel is not right off the freeway but still easy enough to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and abundant. The room was clean and comfortable, however was a little on the older side but not rundown. The toilet made a funny sound when it flushed but it wasn't a bother. "HOTEL "GUESTHOUSE" in Norwalk...close to freeways"
This hotel is in the city I live in. I come here for some " me" time! Staff & housekeeping are great! Theres a nice club here called Sash that always has great bands & DJ's that play there on the weekends! Friendly environment...A nice place to stay!

It was satisfactory and mostly what I expected. However, I was led to believe that I got one of the last rooms. That surprised me when I got there. The hotel was very accomodating to my needs. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. The room itself was very clean and neat. Didn't have that typical "hotel smell" and was comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a small fridge in the room? And maybe a few extra towels? terrible not a 3 star looks like 1 star never stay again beds really uncomfortable, old furniture, old tv, you can't se even all chanels listed. NOT GOOD

when we arrived all was fine. We were going to a wedding so we decided to stay here. We arrived pretty late after the wedding and were hoping to get some rest and sleep in the next morning. We put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door and check out the next day was not until noon. So we figured we would get some sleep. The next morning around 8:30 am […] house keeping came and knocked on our door. She came back three (3) times before trying to let herself in. My husband had to get up and go tell house keeping that we did not wish to be disturbed. This whole time the do not disturb sign was up on our door. After being disturbed so many times we finally decided to just get up and leave. On our way out we decided to let the hotel know about our disappointment. The lady at the front desk would not let us speak to her manager, so we just left. I will never stay here again and will not recommend this place to anyone. Lisez la suite
"Good value"
Clean and tidy hotel, service was not the best but wasn't too bad. Breakfast buffet isn't good value for $7 - very limited selection of food. Rooms are tidy and comfortable, location is good if you want a base between downtown LA and the OC. I would stay there again.

"More like a 2 1/4 star"
This seems like a low-quality apartment complex that was hastily and cheaply converted into a motel mega-complex. To be fair, the room and bed were relatively clean. The bathroom was clean but because it was so old and badly remodeled, it looked dirty. It had all the basic accoutrements, fridge, iron, blow dryer, coffee, desk, tv, and they worked. Now […] the bad: My room was on the freight train side of the mega-complex, 'Nuff said? The tub creaqked and moaned when I was taking a shower. It sounded like it was going to give way and I was going to go crashing through to the floor below. Fortunately, I was on the first floor, so I wouldn't fall too far. That's about it. The first time I stayed at this hotel, my tv didn't come with any plugs to attach my video game system, so we switched rooms. This time, the tv had the plugs, but just didn't work properly and it took the staff an hour to send someone up to fix it. 1st. this is not a 3 star hotel. 2nd. Icemakers didnt work look around and 3 so far didnt work. 3rd. definitively needs a lot of work like the exterior need some improvment (paint,corridors etc) the price is cheap but you dont even get that. definitively im not come back.

I think this Hotel is great for its price! The breakfasts get boring after 2 mornings of it and the location isnt the greatest if your wanting to go 2 LA and hollywood etc. Traffic can be amazingly frustrating and using taxis can end up being very pricey and cause alot of grief. "Not too clean...30 min from LAX"
The lobby was really nice, so I was hopeful...but the bathroom was yucky...moldy edges. In the AM there was a large cockroach in the bathroom. Also, I picked it from a list of hotels "near LAX" but it was about a 30 minute drive (with NO traffic - would have been at least an hour if we had any traffic). "My Getaway..."
I live with others at the time and I use this hotel to get away from them. Wether it be for one night or the weekend. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I take my laptop, fill up the fridge and just relax.

I had previously read some of the reviews after I had made my reservation and was not impressed with what I had read, so the day before, I went to the hotel and asked if I could be shown a room. I explained to them, about reading the negative reviews. They obliged me and gave me the key to a room and it was a very nice room. When I arrived the next […] day, the clerk was very nice and once I entered the room, was pleasantly surprised at the upgrade. I did call down for some extra towels and those were immediately brought to my room. If I were to complain about anything is that there was a guest at the pool that had loud music on. The music being loud is not the issue, it was the type of music that had plenty of curse words, which young children should not be subject to. It took a few hours for anyone to do anything about that. Aside from that, there are not a lot of sit down restaurants in the area that I or the desk knew about, so that was a slight disappointment. But, overall, as a getaway for the night/weekend, this place was very very nice. Lisez la suite
"The Guesthouse Hotel - The perfect weekend getaway"
I chose the the Guesthouse Hotel in Norwalk, CA. as it is less than 5 miles from where I live, that and a great price on Hotels.com made it an ideal getaway for my boyfriend and I. The room with 1 King bed was spacious and comfortable. Despite the hotels close proximity to the freeway , train tracks and the many tour buses bringing large groups tourists […] who were unable to return to their country due to recent volcanic eruption, our room was very quiet and we were both able to get a good nights sleep. We both enjoyed the jacuzzi as it was very relaxing and the perfect temperature. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to our next stay at the Guesthouse Hotel. Lisez la suite

"Almost a Perfect Place"
We have stayed at this Guesthouse Hotel several times over the past two years with very positive experiences. However, in the past Three times the front desk manager, Marilu has been very rude and less than accomodating to us. Just today we checked in and we asked if our room had a fridge because NOT all the rooms have them and her answer was: "If you […] are asking for anything extra it will be $10 more per night" with a blunt look and unfriendly look on her face. And knowing this hotel well I know that is not true. Like I said this is the third rude encounter with this same woman who has NO Customer Service skills. I tried complaining to the hotel general manager directly and no one could tell me a name so I am writing on the "Public Page" and see if I get any response. I hope I get a resolution to this unecessary on-going problem. Some nights were a bit noisy due to inconsiderate neighbors. But overall I like this hotel a lot. Lisez la suite

"Great getaway..."
Needed a weekend getaway and this was the place. It was comfortable and clean. Besides the second pool being out of order everything was great. Will absolutely stay again.

I'm not sure how this got a 3 star rating as it was one of the worst places we stayed. Not only was the room moldy/musty smelling but I did not feel very safe.
