"Hotel Ramada, good value for your money"
I recently stayed in the hotel. Its strategically located close to the shopping malls. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
"ramada d m bangkok"
I was charged 1000 Bath on my credit card as a guarantee. The only charges on the room is the phone call I made which I paid in cash. When I inquired about the 1000 bath, they told me that I will refunded in a few weeks. On all my travels the hotels I been never charge my card cash, they checked the room on check out to see if I took anything from their […] refrigerator or any phone call, then they charge the credit card the amount. That's one of the reason I moved to Grand President the next day and will stay again there when I come back to Bangkok on the 6th & 7th. Lisez la suite

"Ramada Bangkok"
First the good points. We had a standard room which was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Also the outdoor pool was sufficiently large to allow for a decent swim and there were ample chairs and sunbeds available. The downside really is location. Though maps on the Internet indicate underground and skytrain stations nearby they are not and are about […] about 2kms away. The result is that you are obliged to use taxis wherever you go and brave Bangkok traffic. Another irritation is that internet wifi access is not available in the rooms and can only be picked up in the lobby and by the pool. Though not a worry to us we were surprised that there was no offer to help us with our luggage or to escort us to our room when we arrived. In fact we were not even told where the elevators were! The hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient. The staff services were courteous and competent. I will rcomend this hotel to my relatives and friends.

"Problem with Tour Guide in Reception"
The tour organization person in the reception has to change, she is a liar. She told we cannot go to many tours like floating market and Grand Palace; she tried to sell what she has. But we realized that all places are open and we rented a taxi and visited all places on our own. She was denying all the time even we have been there.
"Ramada Bangkok"
The Ramada could be anywhere in the world and had no Thai flare at all. It was clean and easy to get to, but I didn't go to Thailand to feel like I was in Wisconsin.
"The Ramada D Ma"
The hotel was pretty decent. In terms of location, it's actually walkable from the Ratchaprarop station, if you aren't carrying too much luggage. They also provide a limo service to the Makkasan City Link station, which you can book if you intend to take the City rail to the airport. The hotel isn't really near any train stations, so for the most […] part our mode of transport was mainly cab, which is OK as it's pretty cheap over there. Room condition and service of the staff were good. But the food in the cafe was not really worth the price. I ate in once, and that was that. For the price, I would definitely go back. Lisez la suite
Good hotel. Nice and clean. Helpful staff. Well priced. I would recomend to others.
Good place to stay with your family. Good variety of breakfast. Good service.
"Ramada D'Ma- good value in shopping area"
Using Bangkok as a hub to visit neaby countries I stayed in three diffeerent hotels in the same general area this summer. The D'Ma definitely wins out in the area of 'best breakfast', and nicest room. For a first tie visitor the location, although only a 10 minute walk to the busy Pratunum garment district could be a little confusing, and the taxis […] and tuk-tuk drivers can be a little agressive in trying to get customers. However--- if you are there for a few days, it is easy to find everything you want in that area-- including convenience stores, interenet shops, laundry, and even barber shops... By all means, do use the taxis if you are going to go to any of the sightseeing attractions, or of course there is a tour desk as well. Lisez la suite

We were very satisfied with our room. booked at two bedroom suite. Separate living room, Beautiful bathrooms, excellent assistance with our first visit to Bangkok.

V reached hotel in the morning at 10...after travellin 16 hrs..n v were so tired..people who stood at ur reception was so annoying..v wanted a room bably bcoz v were so tired (v hav booked b4) they said room can only by 2 and v need to sit outside for 4 hrs..till the date v have stayed in n number of hotel..the check in time was always 12...the way […] the ladies in the reception behaved was so irritaing. I would recommend this hotel to any one who is looking for convenience and affordability. Staff are very helpful and the condition of the hotel reminds of a 5 star hotel.

"Ramada DMA Bangkok"
over a 4 night stay we found the hotel to be very well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous over all we would rate the hotel quite high on value for money.
"Ramada D'Ma Bangkok"
The hotel is walking distance to Pratunam wholesale market and also the Platinum Mall which are very conveniently located for shopping at these areas. At night there are also street stalls outside the hotel and a 7-11 store if you need to get some food stuff and such. However would like to suggest that the breakfast at the hotel change about everyday. […] I personally find the taste of the food not bad, just that everyday seems to be the same so kinda disappointed a little. The room is comfortably clean and Cosy and the service of the staff, be it bell boy, counter staff, room service staff, they are so very helpful and courteous. I will definitely come back to stay here and also recommend to others. Lisez la suite
"Don't book a tour with tour desk in lobby"
The hotel is excellent, but do not book a tour with the tour desk in the lobby. They lied to our face and told us that we were only going to go to the floating market and tiger temple and we would be back to the hotel by 4:00 and that the van would only have 2-6 people. Instead, we had to change vans 3 times and 3 guides in one day, 13 people, went […] to all the places that we requested not to go and over charged us after I asked the other people what they paid and got back at 8:00 that night, Very, Very Very upset! "Not walking distance from Skytrain Makassan"
Hotel is centrally located in Bangkok. The Makassan Skytrain to the Airport is not walking distance and you will need to take a cab from the Makassan station. There is a complimentary tax service to the Makassan station from the hotel. Over all this is a budget hotel so I would not recommend it for a Honeymoon.
"comfortable"
The hotel is getting a bit old and will need some upgrades soon, but the staff is great and the the location is ok.
"Ramada"
Stayed here twice. The sky way is a few blocks away. The neighborhood is what it tis, Bangkok. I like to explore so it works for me. All in all it was fine. I'm from NY so there are no surprises to me.
"Would not stay there again"
I was very disappointed. I expected the Ramada to be better. There were guys sitting right in the driveway asking if I wanted a girl. The hotel smelled bad and when I called room service to ask for an extra set of silverware I was told it would be 100 baht. Ridiculous...
Fantastic hotel and in the heart of everything, Shops, markets, massages, hair dressing, everything located around the hotel. Got to mention that it is one of the oldest hotel around and is still putting on a superb service and the overall stay was very comfortable.
"Very good"
I have stayed in this hotel several times. It is still reliable and provides very good service. The breakfast is exceptional. The location looks "tacky", but do not be put off you are very close to shops, MTR and train to airport.

"RAMADA D'MA BANGKOK- DO NOT EVER STAY HERE"
I travel quite a bit, and often with a large group fo friends or family. We booked 3 rooms at the D'MA for three nights to celebrate new year's. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff for rude, and unhelpful. The rooms were stained and filthy. We disliked it so much that we checked out the next day and booked another hotel. Hotels.ca […] was kind enough to refund us for the rest of our stay, by Ramada without authorization, charged my credit card for nights not stayed. When I called the hotel, the GM refused to speak to me. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. On a side note, I also got mild food poisoning as a result of room service. Lisez la suite
"Location less than perferct"
We booked here because we thought it was within an easy walk of the Makkasan station at the terminus of the new train line from the new airport. It really isn't if you have any luggage. We ended up using cabs (which isn't too bad since the fare is around $15). It's also not that convenient for the main downtown tourist sites since the Bangkok metro […] does not cover the old core of the city (as in Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, etc.),. Its a $10 cab ride. Otherwise, the hotel is fine. The breakfast buffet had the widest selection of international foods we have ever experienced, and an international clientele to match. Lisez la suite
"Very Bad Experience!!"
Worst hotel I have ever been to in Asia. No one spoke English which was unusual for it being a Ramada. They ruined my designer clothes, I asked for dry clean and they said yes, but ended up shredding the pockets by washing it normal. The manager came up and offered me $10 bucks lol. Uhh, my way up call for the tour was an hour and a half late. They […] were very slow at checkout and the food was horrible. Only positive thing about the hotel was early checkin and great breakfast. But the customer service is the absolute worst. Lisez la suite
"OK for an overnight stay"
Stayed here one night in transit from Koh Samui back to UK. It was OK - nothing more, nothing less. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and reasonably steady supply of tea/coffee top ups. Concierge very accommodating for looking after luggage for late check out, and best source of catching taxis. Out on street it was REALLY […] bad here. All sorts of scams out to offer you good deal for trip tomorrow, back to airport etc. Tuk Tuks only a touch better. The hotel is a bit out of the way so you are dependent on these guys and they seem to know it, so put your hard hat on and take no nonsense. Lisez la suite
"Class & Comfort"
Somewhat on the edge of the city, it is a very classy establishment. Close to Air train station, or a 15 min walk to the river to take the boat to go further west. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

"enough comfort with 4 stars"
Not luxurious but nice and comfortable hotel
"Ramada D MA, Bangkok"
The hotel was in a strange area, not much close to the hotel, but not far to walk to a train station. Hotel taxis were always outside if you wanted one of them, maybe a little more expensive than a normal taxi, but still reasonable. Staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful, and we were well looked after.
"Ramada DMa Bangkok"
This trip was a mix of business and pleasure as I took my Grandchildren along. We chose a family suite which was perfect for this mix, the adults had their own room, the children theirs, each with its own access. Between the two was a separate lounge/meeting room. This allowed for meetings to take place during the day, without the family having to leave […] and afforded plenty of space for the family in the evening. A good combination. Lisez la suite

"Be careful the hotel drivers"
Never take the drivers from Hotel. They cheat you on the price and they never put you to the right place!!
"Ramada D Ma, Bangkok Thailand"
Staff was nice, rooms were great, not far from airport,or malls. Breakfast was nice but quanity of choices not that great.
