The room was amazing, but it wasnt exactly as advertised. The listing said that the room had a jetted tub, what it had was a shower with multiple heads.

Convenient to airport, love having moxies attached to hotel. Clean room

Hotel was ok, but shuttle was $5.25 / person and parking while u were gone was $5.00/ night. Stayed at other places where shuttle and parking were free so next time we travel will make sure to use a hotel where there is no charge for them.

Everything was OK except for with the heat OFF, window open and A/C on, it was still about 80F in the room. (in February)

They told me they can take 7 customers to the airport at a time; every 45 minutes. I went to schedule a time the night before and they were all booked. They gave me a choice either 5am or 8am. I had to get a Taxi $26.

I always stay at this Sandman when in Calgary, very disappointed this time, pool, hot tub not working (we where a group booking with a ringette team, in fact SEVERAL red deer teams where staying at this hotel) and on the second day, upon exit, NO HOT WATER...so no shower on departure, and nothing was offered as far as a discount. SADLY I will not return […] unless we are offered a huge discount on our 2 day stay! :( Lisez la suite

the first room I was out into had construction tools in it. The next room had stains on the rug in the living room and hair in the bath tub.

Hotel is very clean and quiet. Room was nice, TV okay. They have a shuttle that costs only 5.25 to the airport and it leaves every 45 minutes or so. There is a small restaurant adjacent to it, did not try it as my stay was a late overnite between flights. Would be better if they some breakfast capability but there is none. I will stay here again.

Our stay at the Sandman Hotel & Suites Calgary Airport was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to get around to other parts of the City. The added bonus was it allowed our small pet in our room.

Last minute reservation here because an extended stay at the Staybridge was not possible. The price was $80.00 more per night, and the 1 bedroom suite was literally half the size of the one at the Staybridge. In spite of that, the room was clean and the service was good at the front desk so overall, it was a good experience despite the over charging. […] I would stay here again if Staybridge was full. wasn't really reading on-line carefully enough to realize there would be 2 double size beds in the room. Also didn't realize it wouldn't include a breakfast. There was coffee though in the a.m. The rooms were great and the staff helpful. They kindly upgraded us to a king bed and double fold out couch which suited out needs much better. We were only staying in Calgary for one night and flying out early in the morning. For that, it was very convenient. Because of construction, it took about 10 minutes to get to the airport but the desk staff gave very good directions. The hotel restaurant was good and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. It was close to the airport, but there isn't much else close by because it's in a new construction area. I'd stay there again. I had a very nice experience.

Great overall place to stay and park your car while on an extended trip. Very clean and comfortable. Great restaurant on site (Moxie's)

Good for the price if you require a pet friendly hotel. Smells like it though.

Hotel is very conveniently located to the airport. The room was clean and quiet. We discovered that when one makes a reservaction on-line, you are not dealing with the hotel itself but a broker. We had requested to leave our car there for a week while we were on vacation. The hotel itself was fine with a good restaurant attached. The beds were a bit hard and the temperature in one of our rooms was very high and we had trouble getting this down. We should have asked for another room on checking in. My main complaint was with the internet service in the business office. We wanted to print out boarding passes and the hotel […] charged $3 for 15 minutes with a very inefficient ticketing system. The connection was slow and you lost a minute for every page printed. Most hotels do not charge for this and I am sure this system causes more trouble for the desk staff than it is worth. Lisez la suite

The hotel was convenient to the airport and there is a shuttle running 24 hours. The hotel has an excellent restaurant as part of the complex.

This hotel was exactly what we expected and wanted for our overnight stay close to the Calgary airport. Shuttel service was good. Only one complaint - breakfast service was slow, food was not great. Not bad, but not great.

The Sandman is a very handsome hotel, both outside the building and in the lobby/halls. The location is perfect for folks needing to get to the Calgary airport quickly (we had a 7:00 am flight and this was critical!). My ratings would have been higher except for the problem with the room size. We were a family of four and told that a King bed Junior […] Suite would suffice. Wrong. This would have been a great comfy room for a couple, but very little floor space to accommodate two adults and two teens. Make sure you get a complete description of the rooms before you book. Great place to stay before and or after flight out. Evcerything was ready for us when returned home from Vacation at 1 30 AM.

The hotel is very well located along Barlow Trail in NE Calgary - 3 minutes from the airport. It is a clean, well kept hotel. Room size was reasonable with a king bed. Bathroom only had one sink and not enough counter space for two people to put out their toiletries. Shower was good and the curved shower bar made the tub/shower enclosure seem larger. […] Security was good as only guests with key cards could access floors above 1st floor (at least via elevator). There was an empty lot next door which had a large blocked off area full of construction material and equipment. Looked like it had been there for a couple of years - it should be cleared away because it is an eyesore. There is currently (July/10)construction of a new Marriot hotel accross the street. Prima hotel als je dicht bij het vliegveld wilt zijn. De buurt is dan ook niet inspirerend. De informatie van het over hoe je de stad kunt bereiken was erg matig - de c-train is met een wandeling van zo'n 25 minuten best te bereiken, dat scheelt $ 20,- taxikosten. (suggestie: Fietsverhuur zou een goede aanvulling van de service zijn, zeker voor gasdten […] uit NL) Lisez la suite
