Accueil parfait ! Propreté parfaite ! Situation géographique parfaite ! Accessibilité parfaite ! Petite déception, sur la qualité du petit déjeuner... confirmer par les commentaires que j'avais pu lire à ce sujet...

hotel propre chambre tres satisfaisante(seul bemol oserais je dire mais vraiment qu'un détail : le lcd est tres petit !! c'est un ecran d'ordinateur!!! mais a venise l'activité principale n'est pas la tv....) petit dejeuner tres complet personnel agreable par contre ne parle pas du tout francais...meme a la reception hotel tres bien situé avec tabac […] a 50metres supermarché a 150metres et station vaporetto a 300metres a peu pres c'est vraiment bien situe et le vaporetto etant le transport indispensale a venise avoir une station juste a cote et ouverte toute la nuit c'est tres appreciable.... hotel facile a trouver et tres satisfaisant Lisez la suite

The first thing to realize is that this hotel is on Lido island ..a 20 min boat ride from St Marks Square. But the neighbourhood is wonderful. The room had a loft and two single beds. The loft was HOT while the lower beds were cold. Had to turn off the room heat to keep the loft comfy otherwise you roasted. The breakfast was good - not great but […] not bad. This hotel is located a very short ferry ride from St Mark's Square but at a fee per direction, per person it can add up. There are options to purchase daily or weekly passes, though. Hotel: Fantastic, comfortable, quiet and a great free breakfast! (yogurt, croissants, cheese, cereals, coffee/tea/juice). The only downside is that they do not have free […] Internet, nor in room Internet. Location: Fantastic! Away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, close to many restaurants, grocery stores and on a canal. Very easy to get to from the Lido port (about 4 minutes walking even with heavy luggage). Room: Very comfortable and clean. Our room on the fourth floor came with a very large balcony overlooking the canal and street below (not sure if all rooms come with balconies). Bed was fantastic, bathroom as well. Only slight thing I would change is that the shower is a half-open concept so you are guaranteed to get the floor wet. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Even with the cost of the ferry, you can stay here and save a ton and get away from the hordes of tourists. Lisez la suite

Apart from the tiny room, the hotel itself was clean - service was friendly, and the general neighborhood was pleasant. The experience was unremarkable. Pleasurable, but not too much so. For the price it was a fair way to experience Venice. 3,0 Stars of 5 possible seems appropriate.

For the amazing the price we got on this hotel, we thought there would be something wrong with it or in a bad location. I couldn't believe how great it turned out! 3 blocks from the vaparetto stop. Delicious and cute restaurants, shops and bars within closer walking distance. We had a beautiful canopy bed in our room, cool shutters on the windows, great […] sized bathroom, closet, desk and other nice amenities. Our view was of a cute neighborhood. Breakfast was perfect. They had some nice healthy options. But the best part was every morning around 7am we could smell fresh made crossiants being baked in our room! Great way to wake up. The desk staff were very professional and helpful. Gave us some great ideas on site seeing too. We were EXTREMELY grateful that the staff reminded us about our last night there of European Day Light Savings Time. We would've been late/missed our flight the next day if we hadnt been told! clean and comfortable rooms. helpful staff. nice neighborhood. great location. close to the vaporetto station and from there to any point in venice. we enjoyed our stay there very much. don't miss the Trattoria Africana nearby.

Very nice hotel ! Although it looks pretty old from outside, its totally renovated and upto date on the inside. Staff are nice and helpful. Reasons for 4 stars: - a) No internet facility. In this day and age lack of internet in the room is a spoiler. b) No tea/coffee kettle in the room. This small addition can make such a huge difference in the quality […] of the stay. c) Finally, the breakfast is extremely boring. There is not even a bread toaster for some hot food. The choice of the spread is plain boring. I guess it will cost less than 500 Euros to set the above things right and the make the stay excellent. Another thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is in Lido and not main Venice Island. It costs 13Euros for a return trip to Venice. Something to bear in mind for someone on a budget. Hotel Atlanta Augustus is an excellent hotel with some minor issues you should consider before booking. My room was clean with current modern amenities, the bed was very comfortable and the area hotel was very quite. The in suite shower was very clean and the shower area was very large compared to all other hotels I stayed in while travel in Italy. The […] issues I found with this choice were: 1- You need to take the boat bus to get in and out of Lido Island (hotel location). I paid the train station tourist information 33 EURO for 72 hours boat-bus pass which I added to the cost of the overall stay at this location. If I stayed on the main island or near the S.L. train station then the cost of my travel would had been eliminated. 2- The cost of the boat-bus for each direction is 6.5 EURO so do the math; it might be an acceptable cost to you. 3- The hotel DOES NOT OFFER FREE (INCLUDED) online access. They charge 10 EURO for access during your stay. I noted to the desk that the last time a hotel charged me for internet access with 2003 she did not seem to care. The cost was a way for them to “re-cope” lost revenue (if I understood front desk lady English that is). The morning front desk lady had excellent English and she was also very helpful when it came to recommendations for travel and sightseeing. Overall, the hotel was excellent and I enjoyed my stay, the cost of travel and the time I spend going to and from the Lido Island was a bit of a drag. I would recommend it. Lovely place. Everything is working in a small and typical hotel. The building is a show for itself and the attendants make the difference. I was riding a motorcycle in a tour around the Italy, and the reception of the hotel staff (Roberta, Francisco, etc) were very good wellcome card. Strongly recomendable.

Location is closed to subway station and the hotel restaurant's price and service is better than normally expected.

We only stayed one night, but, we enjoyed it. It's across the street from a nice canal in Lido, about a 5 minute walk to shopping and dining. About 10 minutes to the boat station or the beach.

We stayed in the "family room" and it was very smartly decorated with an art deco theme. My daughters loved the room and wanted to stay an extra night. Breakfast was satisfying. The location is convenient to shopping, the beach, and transportation. If we were to visit Venice again, we would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We had very nice stay at this hotel. Front desk very understanding and concerned with enjoyable stay.I think The Owner/Manager could have been more nice and more friendly with the guest.This place deserves five star.Overall BEST for the PRICE and COMFORT.Again WE THANK THE FRONT DESK AND TEAM AT THE HOTEL.

Wireless internet available from lobby and first floor, but if your room is on 2 or higher, expect to go to the lobby for internet. Charged 10 euros for unlimited type use during stay - this worked out ok for us. The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but was ok - a bit of a walk with luggage from the water bus/taxi area to the hotel, but ok. The bed(s) […] were low and somewhat hard, but ok by European standards for a mid range hotel. The bathtub was cracked, but acceptable. Room was clean. TV limited to one english channel -cnn, which I found annoying, but to be expected in that part of the world - pretty standard across Italy. No problems with the hotel, but in retrospect, I would get a hotel right in the heart of Venice rather than on the Lido island as it does take time to boat over to the Venice part. This hotel situated in Lido one of the south islands of Venice was very nice. We enjoyed the fact that it was out of the way of the busier parts of venice and it was very easy to get the ferry boat (5min walk from hotel) into Venice to see all the sights. If visiting Venice again we would stay in Lido I think as Venice gets very busy and its nice to […] have that quiter part to escape to. The surrounding location was a very nice neighbourhood, there was plenty of restaurants/shops and bars and it felt safe. We only stayed in this hotel for 2 nights but wish we had longer. The man on reception who met us on arrival was very friendly, happy and helpful. Our room was cute, clean and roomy. Breakfast was at a good time and of good quality. Overall a good experience. Heerlijk net buiten het centrum

Positive: A very good hotel. Clean and comfortable! VERY nice and helpful dayclerk. 10 min slow walk to the beautiful long sandy beach. Very nice neighbourhood. Close to laundromat. Quiet surroundings. Negative: You have to buy (expensive) busticket to get into Venice.

In the middle of lido with short walking distance to the beach both public and private as well as bus and the extensive waterbus service it is perfect for combined holiday: beach, boat trips and sightseeing in venice. Its quiet, friendly and well maintained. Our family room had plenty space for the family of 4.

Nice location very close to Lido Centrum.

Svært familievennlig hotell beliggende i et rolig og idyllisk område. Kort gåavstand til hovedgate med resturanter og butikker. Hyggelige og behjelpelige ansatte.

Some of the rooms are very smal. The breakfast is tradisjonaly italian with cookies and croasants. The reseptionists where nice and helpfull. The rooms was cleen and there was extra pillows :) The bed was a bit hard but thatss nothing new at hotels.
