simple et propre ,calme ,accueil sympathique, très bien situé , tout peut être visité à pied. petit déjeuner simple mais suffisant aucun luxe

hotel bien situé, personnel tres sympatique mais problème de bruit, de douche, de TV, de petit dej uniquement de 7 à 9h ; après on plie boutique à 9 h 01!!

Pas du grand standing mais très bien situé (10 min à pied de la gare Termini, 15 min a pied du colysée et du capitol et arret de bus pour le Vatican à 5 min). Le personnel est très sympa. Petit hotel charmant, avec un receptionniste francophone très acceuillant. L'hotel est proche de la gare de Termini (10min à pied), et très bien désser au niveau des bus. Les chambres sont certes petites mais la salle d'eau est grande et propre. L'hotel est bien situé en centre ville, tout est facile d'accès, à pied ou en transports urbains. La chambre, et l'hotel en général (situé dans un immeuble un peu délabré) sont un peu vieillottes.

Accueil superbe, chambres ok malheureusement il manque une meilleur isolation pour le bruit et le froid, sinon très propre et bonne ubication, le resto à coté (Barroco) GENIAL si on se rend de la part de l'hotel café et au offerts ;)

Points positifs : Emplacement central pour les visites. L'accueil en français et anglais. Service familial. Taille de la chambre (2 adultes+1 enfant). Propreté. Plusieurs restos à proximité. accueil sympathique et en français en plus ! Dommage que les photos des chambres ne reflettent pas la réalité, salle de bain minuscule, problème d humidité, mauvaises odeurs, pas de double vitrage donc très bruyant... heureusement que cet hotel est bien situé.

Plutôt bien placé près de la gare centrale. Situé au 2ème étage d'un immeuble ,l'accès au rez-de chauussée ne laisse pas présager le meilleur. L'ascenseur est rustique mais sympa, les odeurs un peu moins Accueil excellent ,le personnel est disponible. Les chambres ,correctement équipées pour cette catégorie d'hôtel, manquent toutefois d'une climatisation […] bien utille par forte chaleur et qui ,permettrait une récupération nocturne indispensable. Hotel Clarin was clean, comfortable and in a great location. It's a 10 walk from Roma Termini, and a 5 minute walk from the metro station, it's also right next to via nazionale which is a main road with lots of shops and restaurants. Rome isn't a big city so many of the sights are easily accessible using the metro system which is really straightforward. […] Breakfast in the hotel was pretty basic but enough to get you set up for the day. There was wifi in the room at a cost of €5 which is quite reasonable if you're staying for a few days. It was OK. The staff was friendly and all but nothing over the top. You need to wake up the portier every night when you want a bit of sleep after being out partying. This was reported as a 2 star hotel--we felt it was barely that, and more like 1. rooms/bathroom were clean, but service was poor. the reported "800 meters" distance to the Colisseo, was a bit more than that, and the other directions offered were substandard. the elevator up to the second floor (where the hotel was) was inoperable, which didn't bother […] us too much, but could've been a bother to some. upon our arriving, we observed the hotel staff to be in some sort of dispute with another couple; it appeared to us that the staff was not exactly working well to accommodate the other guests. the staff barely spoke english, and was largely unable to assist us even to find basic things, or to make us arrangements with their shuttle guy. on the closing day, we were told to be out of the room at 10:30am; not only did we find this a bit unusual, but the staff continued to try to dispute this with us even when confronted with my 11am checkout guarantee. the staff seemed much more interested in just shoving us out, than to really serve us. The pıctures on the ınternet showed spacıous modern rooms wıth large beds, nıce furnıture, etç The bathroom smelled horrıble despıte our Lysol spray. The bathroom was dınky and only 1/2 a shower door so ıt got flooded. Shower also dınky. Twın beds,very hard, 'easy chaır' was broken. No A/C so had to have the wındows open and street VERY noısy all nıght. […] Lıft was ancıent and held only 2 people. Staff of famıly very frıendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. The only downside was that we didn't have the key to the main door so each time we had to use intercome. The hotel is on 2nd floor - very cool antique lift;-) Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly & smiling.

Hotel is a bit older, but well maintained. Room and toilet was rather small with no air conditioning. Some difficulty with the language as the desk clerk during the day doesn't speak english. The location is easy walking distance to many sights.

Me and my wife stayed at Clarin hotel for three nights. We were very satisfied with the service and attitude of the staff and also with the good location of the hotel. It's about 15-20 min walk from the Termini station. It's a very good starting point for sightseeing. It's in a good neighborhood next to the Italian Ministry of Interior. The hotel provided […] breakfast though we didn't take advantage of it because normaly we don't have breakfast in the morning. The room was nothing special but it was what we expected. It was decent and clean. the bathroom also. In other words well maintained from the housekeeping staff. The sheets and the towels were changed every day. Because the hotel is located on the second floor of an apartment building the front door is locked at 8 p.m. but when you want to enter at any time the receptionist (available 24 hours a day) opens the door for you by a press of a button. There is an elevator which brings you to the hotel floor. You can also leave your luggage the last day of your stay after check out if you flight is late evening. There is a wifi Internet only for 5 EUR for the whole period of your stay. You get the codes for it at the reception when you check in. The connection is fast and easy. The network is not automatically recognisable so you do have to punch in the codes everytime you come back from outside. There is also a small TV with lots of channels hanged on the wall. The room has a bedroom for two people and also an extra bed. Overall we were very satisfied with Clarin hotel. We found what we were looking for after long and tiring walks on the streets of Rome. We were very content about this little two star hotel. We loved the location, the neighbourhood, the service and the price. We would recommend Hotel Clarín to others and stay there again next time we visit Rome.

Our room quite gloomy, only one very small window so had to have light on when in there. Room clean and had three beds even though we only booked double. Breakfast just about adequate. No toaster so only plain sliced white bread available. Croissants given out to each table. One morning they had run out of both croissants and yoghurt . Another day people […] were queing to get a table as the dining room only held about 8 tables and there are 22 rooms! We didn't wait and went out to eat on that morning. This is not a real hotel- a floor in residential building was converted to the hotel business. On the good side- room facing not a major street, relatively quiet. Good clean neighborhood, the hotel is clean too. decent breakfast. On the bad side- nothing major, but many little things. Shower door was broken, wall paper hanging off the wall. Receptionist […] spoke only basic English, mostly just numbers. When the shampoo was missing one night from the room- we had hard time to explain him what we need. You will have to use rustic old elevator together with building residents. If you come late, the door is closed you need to call and wait few minutes till the receptionist wakes up from the sofa to open. Transportation- many buses nearby, but all crowded in both directions- this is few stops from termini. Metro- 10 min walk. No attractions in short walking distance. The hotel was overpriced- for the same price we could get better value hotel near termini, have all the buses empty at their first stop, both metro lines. Our mistake we did not go for it. This was a great little hotel in rome!. Great value for the money. it was walking distance to the train station and the neighbourhood had some great cafes to eat at. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a street side room and it was a little noisy but we found that added to the atmosphere of Rome! horrible hotel for it´s price. looks like a cheap motel, our shower door was broken, the telefone cord was torn, and i´t was humidity on a wall, it´s an ugly hotel, and wouldn´t stay again. they charged us 6 euros besides the charge in hotels.com, you can find someting better for the price.

While the staff was very helpful, the actual hotel room was cold, the window in the bathroom wouldn´t shut letting in the cold air from outside, the shower leaked and the door was broken, flooding the bathroom if we showered. It may have been just our room that was like that, but it definately affected our trip. Other than the the hotel is well situated […] and you can easily walk to the National Museum, Colloseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. My wife and I stayed here for several days for our anniversary. The price of the room was cheap - especially compared with other Rome hotels. The room was clean, of a reasonable size and had an en suite bathroom. It's not an amazing bathroom or room by any means, but it was functional and fine. Breakfast was a typical continental affair with croissants, […] cheese, ham, yoghurts etc. Again, nothing special, but more than adequate. The staff were friendly, spoke English and helpful. Remember, this is a 2* hotel with low prices!!!!! The location behind 'Via National' was excellent. Bus stops for the Vatican and Trastevere were about a 2 min walk away. The suprmarket even closer. 'Termini' train station is a 10 min walk. At the end of the day, we weren't in Rome to spend time in the hotel. We used the hotel as a base to explore the City, and this hotel was perfect for that. This was a great hotel - especially as it is a 2 star! Nice breakfast. For 5 euros you can buy an internet card that you can use throughout your stay. Colloseum is 10-15 minute walk, as is the Trevi Fountain (go at night, it's beautiful when it's all lit up). Also on Via Nationale (the main road that runs parallel with the road the hotel is on) […] you can catch bus to St. Peter's Square (number 64 bus - only 1 euro) and there is also a handy Spar supermarket where you can get water, snacks, toiletries etc.) All in all, a great budget option, friendly staff and the front desk is operated 24/7. Average. The room is more or less clean. The localization is near the "Termini" Station on the other hand the entrance looks like a ghost hotel during the night. I arrived at 9pm and I thought the hotel didn't exist! After seeing a few other reviews of this hotel we were a little apprehensive, but it was such good value in a great area so we had to go for it! On arrival the staff were very friendly, most of them spoke english well. Our room was a little small, but not too small and we hadnt paid for a big room! The bathroom though was very small, but again we only […] expected a two star hotel so this didnt matter. The whole room/bathroom were clean, which was brilliant. Breakfast is served in a little room by reception, and was not too bad. Since it was included in the (very cheap) price, we couldnt complain! Cheese and ham and some sliced bread, fruit, yogurt, a few cereals and some tiramisu. Croissants are glazed in the italian way, but the best part was the coffee. You can get supplies from the spar on Via Nationale (very close). The hotel is not the closest to any particular sight, but everything is walkable distance! The buses are very useful, costing 1 euro (buy them from the nearby tourist information kiosk), take the number 64 (regular bus) to st. peters/the vatican if you want to get there quickly in the morning! The best restaurant close by is Est!Est!Est!, on Via Genova. (turn right out of the hotel and then left) Great and not too expensive food, but get there earlyish if you want a table! Hotellet er 2 stjernet, hvilket passer fint i forhold til standarden. Generelt slidt men vi boede på pæne og rene værelser. Der blev skiftet håndklæder hver dag og rengøringen var meget tilfredstillende. Den ældre herre i receptionen som var der hele ugen, var meget imødekommende og venlig. Huoneemme (129) ikkunoita ei saanut kokonaan kiinni koska ne olivat niin vanhat ja huonot, kiinnittimiä puuttui. Koska yöllä huhtikuun alussa oli vielä lähellä nollaa, pari plus-astetta vain, olimme aivan jäässä aamulla. Lisäpeitot saimme mutta ne ei asiaa auttaneet kuin vähän. Nyt pari päivää kotona olleena yhä kurkkua karhee ja nuha vaivaa. Vessanpönttö […] vuoti, nojatuolista puuttui pehmusteen alta pohja, vaatekaapin laatikosta puuttui pohja. Kadulta kuuluva melu ei ensimmäisen yön jälkeen vaivannut koska aloin käyttämään korvatulppia. Lamppu roikkui koska se ei ollut kunnolla kiinnitetty. Saniteettituotteet kuuluivat huonehintaan mutta uusia ei tullut kun oli sen yhden sampoon käyttäny, viivyimme 3 vrk. Huone piti jättää jo kello 10.30!!!!!!! Outoa! Taksi maksoi neljästä hengestä Ciampinosta hotellille 60 euroa eikä 25 kuten infosta voi lukea. Portsari eli vanha mies joka päivysti oli valloittanut yhteistilan, jossa oli pöytä ja infokansiot turisteille. Hän makasi toisella sohvista sitkeästi eikä neljä vierasta mahtunut istumaan toisella 2-hengen sohvalla suunnittelemassa seuraavan päivän kierrosta. Seurueemme toinen pariskunta sai lämpimän huoneen josta oli näköala parin metrin päässä olevaan seinään. Aamiainen oli valkoista paahtoleipää ilman leivänpaahdinta, ja jotain sulatejuustoja, ja tosi hyvää jugurttia. Mutta senkään jugurtin takia en mene toista kertaa vilustuttamaan itseäni. Greit hotell tatt i betraktning av at det er tostjerners. Rene håndkler og rydding av rom hver dag. Sentral beliggenhet med gangavstand til mange av de kjente severdighetene samtidig som det ligger i en noe stille sidegate. Litt skuffende frokost. Ingen hotelltilbud utover selve rommet, men de fleste ting ligger i nærheten av hotellet.

Estupendamente situado, viejillo (el primer día echaba agua la cisterna, y se había roto la calefacción), pero suficientemente bien, y muy bien situado. La pega única es que no te dan llave del portón de fuera, y el portero tarda bastante en oírte y levantarse a horas ya nocturnas.

Om du söker ett hotel i centrum till bra pris, accepterar lite kyligt på rummet och ofta ej språkkunnig personal, kan Clarin vara ett val. Läget är bra, men är svårt att ibland göra sig förstådd. Större delen av dagen är det en äldre man i receptionen som kan endast ett fåtal ord på engelska. Om man kommer till hotellet sent på kvällen/natten möts man […] av den äldre mannen som om han kom direkt från sängen. Badrummet är ok, men duschutrymmet lite i minsta laget. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage um alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal ist nett und herzlich. Man merkt die familiäre Atmosphäre. Speziell erfreut waren wir über die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen des Hotels. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

Un hotel perfecto, tanto por su precio, como por su situación. Muy limpio, y habitación bastante amplia. Muy buen desayuno incluido y staff muy amable. La única pega es el ruido proveniente de la Via Nazionale que está dos calles más abajo. La ventana no está bien insonorizada.

Lähes Rooman ydiskeskustassa, toisessa kerroksessa sijaitseva enenmmänkin hostels kuin hotelli. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä mutta hotelli kuin vanha kerrostalo. Suihkutilat menneiltä ajoilta ja osittain kosteusvaurioituneet. Aamupala yllättävän monipuolinen. Jos joudut sisäpihan puolelle, niin maisema ei ole mainitsemisen arvoinen. Trevlig personal och bra service. Hotellet ligger nära sevärdheter och frukosten är bra.

Det lilla men charmiga hotellet. det var helt klart inget lyxhotell, man hittade knapt dit. Det ligger på andra våningen i ett våningshus, rummen var stora men sådär kvalitet. Men otroligt trevlig personal, hällsar och är glada. Ger en tips om sevärdheter mm. Frukosten kan man diskutera, men helt klart ätlig.
