Good points: Inexpensive and within walking or short driving distance to the many restaurants in the Addison neighborhood, including a 24-hour diner and a great steakhouse next door. Bad points: When I checked in, I was charged an extra $20 to "upgrade" to a room with a refrigerator and microwave, which the website said were included. The tub drained […] very slowly (by the end of a shower I was standing in 6 inches of water that took half an hour to drain) and the toilet frequently needed two flushes. The tv reception was spotty. The most disturbing part was when I discovered, while cleaning up a spilled drink on the nightstand, that the phone wasn't even connected to a line. If you want a cheap place with lots of good eating nearby, go for it. Just be prepared for surprises, and have a working cellphone. Lisez la suite

The hotel is located at the hearth of Addison right near Belt-Line with a large variety of Restaurants and activities.

I called at 7.45 am to make sure I had a room on the ground floor......was told "will see"......when I got there my need-request was not met ! I then asked for another (non smoking) room on the ground floor with 1 bed...was told no can do ! so, from a smoking 1 bed room i ended with a non smoking 2 bed room ! It was alright for the money spent. We just needed somewhere to spend the night. I prefer inside corridor and this was outside corridor.

We had a clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable room and the staff was most helpful when we accidently left our videos. The water was hot and plentiful, there was both a microwave and a fridge as well as a coffeepot for the morning. The TV had plenty of channels. All in all, a great deal!

On a business trip wanted somewhere inexpensive and the only complaint I have was that the contiental breakfast wasn't worth the effort. Cereal and muffins only.

Cheap & a nice place.

I walked in the room and felt like I needed one of those anti-contamination suits. It reeked and the place was so old and dated. There were bugs in the bathroom and when I tried to kill one of them it scurried off under the bed. Needless to say I walked out not to return. I went to the Hampton Inn and Suites on Addison RD. The hotel was in over all bad repair. I had a problems with the wireless and my key not working at times. The alarm clock did not work and the staff did not seem to care about my stay.

Centered between major hwys/shopping/restaurants, there's also a nice children's park 1/2 mile west. I was not impressed w/ the meager breakfast, or ambiance of the place. This hotel is basic, you get what you pay for. Only real complaint was that my alarm clock was not working so I had to use my cell phone. Besides that everything was fine.

It wasn't the newest hotel around, but it's clean and cheap. Room service available. Also when I needed an Iron to freshen a shirt to go out in and there wasn't one included in the room, the desk clerk brought one and an ironing board to me within 5 minutes! Great Service! Lots off good food choices in the neighborhood too.

there was hair in the wall of the bathtub. they came in and cleaned room and it was still there.

The photos and reviews werent the same, there are clubs across the way and are loud and people come and park in the hotel parking lot. The room was hot and the a/c blew it's lung out. We go here for some quiet time and to be left alone. This place is great for that. Its not fancy, but that is not what we needed, just a nice place to chill out. The rates are great and it is in an area with a lot of eats that are very easy to get too and are in walking distance. WE have made this place the only place we stay at when we are in Dallas/ […] Addison. The staff is always very nice to us and very understanding. When we reserved a room online they didnt any have king size beds, so I had to get a double room. When we checked in, we asked if there were any kngs and can we switch to one. There was one open and they were more a night, but they didn't charge us and they gave us a handicap room when He saw I walked with a cane and was handicaped. Found the hotel to be unkempt, walls were paper thin, seemed as though it hadn't been updated since is was built. Was cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for. Did not have a great place (sitting area) to bring clients to for a meeting.

Great place to stay

This is a typical Super 8. Nothing fancy, but the price was right and the location near where I needed it. When I got to the room the heater in the room made some loud noises and the manager came to look at it. It seemed to stop after about 30 minutes and then was fine. On hotels.com there were two rates, a lower prepaid/non-refundable rate and a higher […] rate that didn't say it was prepaid. I booked the higher rate because I wasn't sure of my plans but then noticed the full charge on my credit card right away. Fortunately I did need the room, but I didn't expect it to be pre-paid. The front desk clerk, Melissa wasn't very pleasant and I was given a room on the second floor directly in the middle of the hotel. 'Stair cases were on the opposite sides. The hotel was basically empty. The room was more like a third rate motel with patches of wall paper in a poor attempt to dress the place up. The hotel room was very clean, spacious and felt new. Good neighborhood, with a lot of food options within walking distance. The staff was extremely pleasant and acccomodating.

Smooth check-in. Clean, comfortable room with small refrigerator. Only quirk was an irritating noise from the bathroom exhaust fan. Solution = don't run fan. Have stayed here twice and will stay here again.

The hotel was great! Addison is a great area to stay in, the room was very cheap and had a mini fridge and microwave, which can be hard to find in a cheap hotel these days. Bed was not very comfortable, but for the price and just one night it was fine. There is a dog park less than a block away at Offices in the Park if you bring your pet with you.

The hotel was not clean, the reception area was dirty and unclean and did not look nothing like the pictures as advertised on the website. Would not recommend this hotel.

We used Hotel.com and chose the right hotel in the area that we needed for the price we could/wanted to pay. It was an excellent tool to use and we are very happy with the decision we made.

We reached there @ 4:45 PM, checked in took keys and went to attain some gathering. Came back around 6:30 PM, as soon as open the door a nasty stale intolerable smell came out. Found carpet was wet. Not sure how they cleaned the carpet. called for room fresher but there wasn't any. Front desk wasn't helpful.. finally guy at the front desk offered another […] room but that time we were unpacked and it was difficult and time consuming to move at that time. We had to leave with that smell.. we spread some perfume to kill the smell. It didn't work. Any way at the morning tried to iron cloths found iron is not working and they didn't another one right a way. It took him long to get one and we were late to the ceremony. OK folks, here's the deal. If you are seeking a place with super fine linens and all the world class touches....dont stay here. If you are seeking a nice place just to sleep that is located right in the center of everything you might want to do and has the best pricing you can imagine.....BOOK IT! Have stayed here many times and coming back again.

Clean room, good beds, half-a-dozen restaurants in walking distance.

Hotel was fine, but booked room that had a couch and the website showed it to have one. Come to find out they didn't have one...... toilet overfilled and shook the entire wall every time it was flushed and not to much help from manager.

Air conditioner very weak during daytime hours. Room stayed very warm until dark. Not comfortable at all.

We stayed at this hotel to be close to Kaboomtown, and we realized when we got there that we could actually even stay at the hotel to watch the fireworks. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the experience overall was wonderful! The location was good. I was on a business trip in northern dallas county but had family in southern dallas county so it was centrally located to all those places. I wasnt able to go to the galleria but did notice that it was within 10 min. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, my only complain is that the 1st night of my 4night stay I was […] placed into a room that wasnt the one i paid for. I was told that being a friday night, i would have to wait till checkout to move. The next day i was placed in the correct room with a fridge and microwave that i orginally had paid for. Breakfast was all cold stuff so dont expect waffles like some places but it was enough to start my day. Lisez la suite

I have stayed at this Inn at least 6 times and keep coming back. The location is perfect for getting around Addison. The room is clean and nice. Make no mistake it will not make you think you are in the Ritz Carlton, but for the money, it is a tremendous value.

You can beat the location, restaurant row! The pool was nice, even though the concrete bottom ate my feet up. I do suggest you bring your own pillows. The pillows they supplied were paper thin. Im sure they would have given us more if we asked but we only stayed one night. The people at the front desk were very nice.

We just wanted someplace convenient, clean and inexpensive and this was perfect. Nothing fancy, great service and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and entertainment.
