déçus en rapport qualité/prix pour un 4 étoiles. la literie est confortable mais les deux velux avec des stores blancs ne cachent pas suffisamment la lumière et on est réveillé dés 5h30 du matin avec le soleil!!! la décoration est vieillotte est les éléments de la salle de bain le sont également. Plutôt bien situé, a 3-4 stations en métro du centre-ville. Chambre agréable, belle salle de bain. Seul bémol, la connexion internet très lente et du coup chère, 10 euros / jour ou 15 euros/ semaine. Par ailleurs, les chambres sont mal isolées, on entend tout ou presque des bruits du couloir et de la cours. Je le recommande malgré tout.

La situation est idéale ,très proche du centre ville et à coté du métro.Le quartier est très calme ,dommage que l'hotel soit bruyant par certains détails qui pourraient facilement être améliorés:faire 1 passage bétonné lice du porche à l'entrée de l'hotel pour ne pas être réveillé à 5h du matin par lesroulettes des valises ,mettre des tapis dans les […] couloirs pour ne pas entendre ceux qui rentrent à 2h du matin.On aurait apprécié de bonnes viennoiseries au petit déjeuner à la place de croissants immangeables et que la jeune femme à l'accueil esquisse un sourire,le reste du personnel est par ailleurs charmant . Accès facile par CAT et U 4 depuis Aéroport - Quartier calme et agréable non loin de sites à visiter pouvant être atteints à pied ou en métro. It was a shame as the overall cleanliness of hotel was fine, but there was an annex separate to the main hotel, which was a make shift hotel in which we were allocated rooms. It was obvious they let long stay students stay in this part which does not make for a quiet nights sleep. Our room was warm and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was very impressed that the waiter at breakfast remembered our groups' drinks preferences on our 2nd morning. The breakfast room was a little small and crowded. The walk into the centre was about 20 minutes which our group enjoyed but may not be everyone's preference. There was an underground […] station just around the corner though. Also in the wing in which we were staying there were quite a lot of steps to get up before we reached the lift so families with young children would have to make sure they were put into the main hotel building. The hotel is well-placed near a metro station and there are pubs and restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was good, there was enough choice of bread, cheese, ham, eggs etc and staff there were very happy to get more if requested. I expressed my concern at this and eventually a second twin room was found, but no explanation or apology was given. Once in our room it had the basic amenities and was very clean. However our shower did not work, there was a pressure and temperature problem with it, it dribbled water and went from boiling hot to ice cold without a medium. I told reception and a man was sent to our room to look at it. He spent 10 minutes in the room while we waited and then left. However the shower was not fixed and we again informed reception. Throughout our three night stay nothing was done about this and having informed them immediately, I consider this to be unacceptable. On checkout we were told that breakfast was not included and I challenged this as I knew for certain that it was. After five minutes this was sorted out but again I felt that I had been met with obstacles that were unnecessary. i stay in this hotel 2 days, it was far from city center unlike what written in hotle.com discreption, break fast is normal no thing to show, however all the rooms was seperated by thin sealing and any sound in the other rooms will fall directely in your ears!, there is now sound sealing installed inbetween the walls, this hotel is definetly 2 star […] NOT 4 star!!, if you want to have cheap price but nothing else, then this is your hotel !!! I am not quite sure why this is rated as a four star hotel. Decor was a little dated. Elevators are quite slow, but OK. Breakfast was good in a more European type. Personnel was all good and the location in good. A couple of issues. Number one: NO AIR CONDITIONING! Do four star hotels really not have AC in Europe? At least have a ceiling fan, or at […] a minimum, an occillating fan in the room. Weather wasn't too bad, but even so, the room got real hot. I can't imaging staying here during hot summer weather. The other issue is the noise that echos through the courtyard of anyone, and everyone who enters the hotel. Compounded with this, is that you have to have the window open at night in order to get any kind of air movement in the room. But, I still enjoyed Vienna, and all else was fine. Chosen for the location (few steps from underground, even center was reachable on foot). On arrival young woman on front desk not helpful and actually sighed when I asked for a room change to an upper floor. The internet access was primitive: we paid a set amt for a specific time period and were taken by a staff person to someone's office to use their computer. It was dial up so ate up a lot of time just getting booted up. We like checking […] email daily but found this system too cumbersome and only did it once. There was no coffee maker or kettle and luckily I had my own small travel element. The last morning I went to make coffee and it was gone. I thought it was stolen by the maid. I went to the front desk to report the theft and the staff had it. I was told it's their policy not to allow these devices. I told them I was angry that I had not been informed that it was taken and the man said he had called the room but there was no answer. Traveling with two adult daughters we found the the sleeping room/kitchen arrangement at the Deutschmeister spacious and accommodating. On the top floor of the older building, it proved to be well ventilated but warm given the 80 degree temperatures in Vienna. Hotel also had parking at a reasonable rate, whereas fifteen euro for a wireless code seemed a bit excessive. I spent a week at the Deutschmeister. It is extremely well placed for the underground, being about 100 m from Rossauer Lande station on the U4 line. it's right beside the Donau Canal, which has lots of walks and parks. Cafes, shops and a church are only a few minutes away also. I had a small apartment which was very tidy and well maintained. I made […] use of the small kitchen, which had a combined microwave/fan oven. My only criticism is that the walls are quite thin and noise from other guests, including things like bathroom fans, is quite loud. I sleep in earplugs when I'm travelling, so it wasn't a particular problem, although if you had small children you might find it difficult to get them to sleep.
