The hotel did not have the appropriate reservations (1 room with two double beds and a sleeper) for 5 adults and I had to end up paying for a second room. The location was OK and the room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was lovely, including the delicious Indian Restaurant on the premises. Unfortunately, there was a party with some young people next door that kept us up until 4am. Though we complained there was nothing they could do to stop the noise nor did they offer to move us to another room.

Conveniently located off I-95. Great breakfast (for a "free" breakfast) which included hot food and free coffee all day. Very comfortable for a mom travelling with two kids.

My boyfriend and I stayed this past New Years Eve into New Years Day and had the best experience! It was just a short taxi ride away to where we were to go that night and the room was just perfect! Highly recommended to others who are staying in the area!

My family stayed one night on our way to RI. We were very much satisfied with the hotel itself. It was clean and well-maintained. It was also plus to have nice hot breakfast instead of "continental breakfast". One downside was its location. My family arrived there after 10 PM. The room was so hot we couldn't sleep. When we arrived it was 73 degrees in the room. We turned the thermostat down to 68 degrees but when we woke up the temp had increased to 78 and by the time we left the room it was up to 79. The front desk person was not helpful and rather short.

Difficult to control the room temperature. Breakfast was very good. HAmpton is placing heavy comforters on the beds, this is not good for those who like cooler sleeping. They shhould offer alternative blankets

I sometimes don't like writing these reviews as I want to keep these good deals a secret. But this hotel is the best deal in Stamford. Very nice elegant and a FANTASTIC breakfast brunch that is included in the price of your room (not just the creal and fruit of other hotels). My only complaint is I don't like a hot room and it is hard to keep the room […] cool at night. I end up oening the windows. Even with the heater turned off or the thermostat turned down to 65 degrees it was uncomfortably warm in the roo. Other than that, this place is great. Lisez la suite

Like all Hampton Inns I have stayed at, this one was very nice and clean. Had a King suite...huge! Great breakfast included.

A most enjoyable stay, vary keen and helpful staff. Great breakfast room with good buffet. Rooms spacious and well equipped. Highly recommend.

My companion and I stayed for the weekend that contained the first snow of the season -- before Halloween. The hotel was very nice. We found it clean and they cleaned the room when we went to the free breakfast in the morning.

Overall pretty good, nice clean room, good breakfast, one problem fifth floor is very noisy there is a fan for the restaurant above it ... I would stay in a lower floor

Hotel staff was wonderful, and the room beautiful. The restaurant was superb! Reasonably priced and delicious food was welcome at the end of a long, difficult day! The ambiance was peaceful and the wait staff extremely helpful.

The hotel was really quite nice. Never had stayed in one before. Use Marriotts mostly. Rooms were just fine, clean and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant and bar, free parking and free decent breakfast.

The facility was well kept and clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant on location and it was good. Staff friendly and polite. Overall a good stay and good value. Only item I would have suggested to change was the temperature that the hallway was kept on the 5th floor ... you could have stored meat in front of our […] door and it wouldn't have spoiled! Beautiful rooms, very comfortable, good nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast bar! We all enjoyed it very, very much and the small contact I had with the servers at the breakfast bar was always helpful and pleasant.

We were very happy with how nice the staff was and the condition of the hotel. It was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and we would definately stay here again.

We only stayed here overnight but I wish it had been longer. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good with a great choice of hot and cold food. Only problem was noisy people in the hotel corridors and the room next door but that is not the hotel's fault. Would certainly stay there again.

Great stay, the only problem was it took a very long time to get hot water to the shower, I gave up waiting for it. WBB

Our overnight stay was very nice, the location was near some very nice restaurants and and the shopping area. The hotel staff was very accommodating also. We would stay there again.

This hotel was wonderful--if you are looking for a quality hotel that is clean, comfortable, and includes a hot breakfast this is it! We would stay again anytime we are in this area.

We found our room to be comfortable, clean and easy to find. .Everyone was helpful and the breakfest had a variety. My grandchildren enjoyed their stay also. There was a friendly atmosphere.

Hotel site states rooms open to balconies, but rooms on back side of hotel (ours) did not have one. Continental breakfast was fair with decent selection of fresh fruits, but very little protein choices other than "scrambled eggs." Room was clean, beds fairly comfortable, but bring your own pillow if you can. We had 4 people in our party, but they only […] provided 3 sets of towels, even after a phone call to reception. This hotel is beautiful!! We stayed in a suite that was surprisingly large. Very comfortable and clean. I would absolutely stay again.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The people working there were friendly and helpful. The resturant was very nice with a good selection of food My only complaint was the shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall I would stay there again.

My wife and I had a pleasant two nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free hot breakfast was a nice touch, as was the free appetizers in the evening. Indian cuisine in the hotel restaurant was fabulous, better than most Indian restaurants we have been to. Surroundings will be much better when the park across the street is completed.

We checked in late and was presently pleased when maintenance staff was on hand to quickly replace a bad flapper valve and stop the noise caused by the toilet constant running

Pretty standard hotel, with decent continental breakfast and nice layout of room with sink outside of bathroom. Main problem was noise. I was woken up about 5 times throughout the night because of very loud talking/yelling in the halls. The door did not do much to keep out the noise or even the light which were leaking in around the door frame. I loved the location and hotel was very family friendly. Only wish the restaurant was more kid friendly, however there were plenty of other options outside of the hotel within driving distance. I've recommended the hotel t several relatives that plan to go to New York City as a better rate but still close enough to drive into NYC. I do plan to come […] out there again in the near future. Stayed with family while visiting NYC. Hotel provided a convenient shuttle to Stamford train station. Complimentary breakfast was good. Rooms spacious, modern and clean. Beds comfortable.

This hotel was nice, and the staff was accomodating. I like the fact that they offer toilettries in the room. The room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. I would definately stay there again.
