Emplacement de l'hôtel à 20 mn du centre ville. Un accueil chaleureux, par contre il ne parle pas français. Au départ une chambre bruyante coté rue, nous avons changé de chambre sans difficulté. Petit déjeuner très bon. A disposition toute la journée et la nuit : café et thé. Hôtel à recommander

Hôtel bien situé à 20 min-25 min à pied du centre historique. Il y a une station de métro à moins de 3 minutes. Par contre, la chambre était très petite (un peu trop) mais très propre. Autre bémol: le petit déjeuner assez limité et pas très varié. A noter également quelques restaurants aux alentours.

L'hôtel est pratique car tout proche d'une station de métro qui est à 2 stations du plein centre et de la vieille ville. Il est très calme et très propre. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans une cour avec verrière très agréable.

Hôtel très satisfaisant pour un séjour à Stockholm . Le personnel de l'hôtel est super sympa . Seul petit regret, je pensais avoir du saumon gravlax au breakfast .... cependant les pains étaient délicieux !

Très bien situé ( 2 minutes d'une station de métro) l'hôtel Rex vous acceuille chaleureusement et se rend disponible à vos souhaits ( vous offre même du café à tout heure et une connexion internet libre ) . L'hôtel est très propre , l'insonorisation est bonne , les chambres , un peu exigües, bien décorées ( l'armoire de rangement , chambre indiv. , […] est trop miniscule ) , la literie correcte , la tv aussi ( pas de chaine fr ) . Concernant le petit-déjeuner , sous la véranda très agréable ou dans la cour pour les fumeurs , un choix correct ( manque les viennoiseries fr. ) mais toujours identique suivant les jours . Que du positif sur cet hôtel, le seul reproche serait sur le petit déjeuné pas très varié, sinon le personnel est sympathique et serviable, l'établissement en général est très design, les chambres sont suffisamment grandes et la salle de bain était magnifique. La situation de l'hôtel est très bonne proche du centre historique et du nouveau centre. La […] cerise sur le gâteau c'est le sauna qui est réservable personnellement, et la salle de sport qui permettent de se remettre d'une journée passée dans le froid suédois. Hôtel très bien place a proximité des rue commerçantes et de la vieille ville. Petit déjeuner suédois très agréable . Les chambres sont impeccables. Seul bémol est l absence de réception après 22 h qui aurait été appréciée un soir pour contenir un groupe fort bruyant... Mis a part ce léger problème, l hôtel est a recommander

+ : Hôtel convivial, très bien décoré, dans un lieu calme à 3 minutes du métro. L'acceuil était parfait et notre chambre agréable, propre et de dimension suffisante. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est correct. - : Quelques petits détails dans la chambre montrait que la maintenance dans notre chambre n'est pas effectuée souvent (joint de douche, porte fendue, […] mauvais contact). Nice breakfast. Location was not bad. Room was very modest. If you your room is overlooking the street, it can get quite loud because of occasional pedestrian and car traffic. I wouldn't stay there again. Little comfort, but OK if you are trying to save money.

I have never stayed in a smaller room. I had to block the bath room door to be able to open my suitecase. Minimal amenities. Very good Swedish breakfast. Warm boiled eggs otherwise only cold cut. No radio alarm clock in the room. Strange framed photos in the hallways. I found some disturbing.

The hotel had a small, family-owned feel. There was a wonderful breakfast room in a covered patio, and the staff was pleasant. It was a little way away from the heart of the city, which made the hotel a bit more quiet.

I arrived in Stockholm whilst it was dark and had fun finding the hotel by foot (it helps to figure out where you are first :-) ). Upon arriving i was greeted by very friendly staff and then made my way to my room. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was incredibly comfy, to the point where i fell asleep still in jeans and a jacket upon laying […] on the bed. The bathroom was amazing with great amenities and good elbow space for shaving, something some hotels lack... Breakfast was your typical buffet breakfast in Europe but did not expect to sit under a glass roof which was a great change for me. We got an excellent price, especially for Scandinavia. The room was small, as is typical in this part of Europe, but modern, clean, quiet and functional. Good walking or public transportation access to all of Stockholm. (Two quick stops from the central rail and subway stations.) We chose to walk to see all the museums, old part of Stockholm, etc. (Takes […] 20 - 30 minutes, but safe and interesting.) Great breakfast. Free and functioning wifi. Recommended. Try the raindeer stew or elk burger dinner at their sister hotel across the street - excellent. On the nearby corner is a lunch place with mediteranean food - super healthy salads if you want. One street over is a modern fast food asian place - Yoi - try that too. Very reasonable for healthy food with lots of flavor and vegatables. All things considered, the hotel is very nice, and I would be willing to return. The rating of "4" is a little low; I believe a rating of 4.3 (out of 5) is more reflective of my experience. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was nice. The hotel is a short walk from a subway station, which was very helpful […] for my purposes. The only negative aspect is that my room was very small, with little closet space. (The "3" rating on the "Comfort of your room" criterion is due almost entirely to this.) In addition, it would have been helpful to have an iron and ironing board in the room, and only one bath towel was provided. Also, the selection of television channels was somewhat limited compared to the selection available in many hotels. I experienced a wee bit of trouble with wireless internet access. Specifically, I was able to connect to the Internet via wireless access. After shutting down my computer and then powering up again, I had difficulty reconnecting via wireless. However, I had an Ethernet cable with me, and was able to connect to the Internet with no difficulty. (Note: It is possible the trouble I experienced might have been easily repaired. Since I experienced no problems once I used my Ethernet cable, I did not make inquiries concerning the trouble with wireless access.) Lisez la suite

Interesting location - it is not near anything of particular interest, but it is very close to a metro stop which makes it very accessible to everything. Our room was small but very adequate, clean, with a very modern bathroom. Towels were a little meager, but I saw another guest ask for additional ones and they were provided without hesitation. Breakfast was simple and ample, but a little monotonous if you are staying several days like we did. There were apples available one day only, I would have loved fresh fruit daily. However, for the price it was a good deal, and coffee and tea is available in the lobby all the time. The dining area is very pleasant, an inner courtyard with a glass enclosed room. This hotel is a curious mix of the good and bad. The good: very helpful and professional staff, quiet neighborhood, and extremely convenient location. The bad: TINY double room and poor breakfast. Two walls of the bedroom were bare concrete and the other ones were properly finished. It looked as if the room had been renovated halfway. The only illumination […] was a small desk lamp, a small, LED overhead light and a small reading lamp on each side of the bed. The room was always dark, and the reading lights were so far above the bed they were useless. The bed itself was truly uncomfortable. It was the cheapest sort with no support for the mattress at all--essentially a piece of junk with stapled slats that would be found in a thrift store. Finally, the breakfast was truly the poorest I have had at any hotel in some time. It can only be described as meager, cheap, depressing, poorly prepared (unpeelable soft-boiled eggs), and poorly presented. It is apparent that management does not want to spend any money or effort making the Rex Hotel as good or comfortable as its other property across the street. It is the "poor sister." In summary, if you are willing to put up with a sad, small, uncomfortable room and a depressing breakfast in exchange for a good location, then you might be o.k. here. We managed to survive the experience, but I can't say we enjoyed the stay. Lisez la suite

The hotel is in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions and has a metro stop very near by. The staff were friendly and helpful . A nice touch is the free tea and coffee in the reception area. We were also able to use the facilities of its sister hotel across the road.
