trés bon hotel, mais isolation sonore avec la chambre voisine trés legere !!!

Hotel vraiment trés sympas, trés propre et les chambres sont spacieuses. Le personnel à l'accueil est vraiment top, ils parlent tous anglais et se débrouillent bien en français. Petit point négatif la ventilation dans la chambre est un peut bruyante. En résumé j'en suis vraiment trés content, et j'y retournerais volontié si l'occasion se présente.

Très bel hôtel, la chambre était très calme car elle ne donnait pas sur le boulevard. peut-être un peu loin du centre, environ 20 mn à pieds la salle de remise en forme est en supplément, ce n'était pas un problème mais le matin où j'ai voulu y aller le jacuzzi était froid...donc pas de remise en forme

Très bon accueil la chambre est grande mais la salle de bain est mal disposée Bonne situation de l'hôtel par rapport au centre-ville

Hotel tres bien situer pour ceux qui souhaite visiter Barcelone car pres du centre ville , la ramblas, le port ... le seule bémol le parking qui est tres petit mais ce n'ai pas grave car tout le reste est PARFAIT

l'hotel es bien situé , bemol le wifi ne se capte que dans le hall de l'hotel dans la chambre tres mal, tout es payant sauna jaccusi , la piscine est ridicule toute petite , les chambres fumeur oublié on a l'impression d'etre en prison avec des barreaux au vitre petit dej trop cher 12euro . L'hôtel est bien situé, nous avons pu nous rendre à l'ensemble des visites à pied (il faut tout de même de bonnes chaussures, la ville est grande) sinon le metro est tout près. Nous avons apprécié la déco de l'hôtel, le personnel qui est agréable, la grandeur des chambres, la chaîne hifi, la salle de bain avec baignoire et douche...Nous sommes ravis […] de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le seul point à reprocher peut être est effectivement comme j'avais pu le lire dans un commentaire, le fait que les plateaux du room service restent parfois par terre dans le couloir avant d'être débarassés mais cela nous empêchera pas d'y retourner car l'hôtel a répondu par ailleurs à toutes nos attentes même plus! Tres beau hotel, bien situé, dans un beau quartier pres de grands axes et metro. Belle chambre .a recommander. Si vous etes en voiture je vous recommande de trouver une place dans les rues aux alentours car le parking de l'hotel est un peu elevé: 21 euros par jours.

Avant de partir, j'ai lu les critiques... globalement elles sont favorables. Mon avis différe un peu pour un 4 étoiles c'est très léger : jolie salle de bain mais un seul des 2 lavabos était en état de fonctionner, pas de peignoir, une bouteille de gel douche si petite que nous ne l'avons pas vu, le réglage de la température de l'eau pratiquement impossible […] (ça brule !) Pour le reste des chambres propres mais aucun service et aucune déco. Quand nous sommes arrivés il y avait dans le couloir un plateau avec des restes de petit déjeuner... 4 jours plutart il y est toujours ! ... bref, avis très mitigé. Choisissez un autre 4 étoiles, je pense qu'il sera aussi bien que celui là... le AXEL Hotel (mais plutot pour les "gay") est bien ou encore ++ le AC BARCELONA (mais un peu loin du centre). Très bel hotel bien situé et avec tout le confort. Hamman, sauna, jacuzzi, massages et salle de sport certes pas très grande mais avec le nécessaire. Chambres propres et très jolies. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour

Jacuzzi, piscine, bagagerie ... Une chambre très propre au design soigné, au calme car bien insonorisé. A y aller sans hésiter.

Hotel de tres bon confort bien situé, pas tres loin du barri gottic et des ramblas et pres des maisons Gaudi. Veritable garage fermé et contrôlé, hélas 20 €/jour. Difficile de trouver quelqun parlant Français, vive l'anglais... D'ailleurs les bases de votre questionnaire sont en Anglais...

Nice hotel lovley staff be very careful of pickpockets one was sitting in hotel reception and grabbed a bag one morning. and be very careful about breakfast charges... Express breakfast advertised for 5.50 but because I didnt request this in resturant i ended up paying 12.50e for tea(i had my own tea bag) orangejuice and 1 bread roll. we had a lovley […] lunch in the same rest 3 courses and glass of wine for 9.90e hard to understand stupit breakfast charge. Excellent location in a quiet street, just a few block from all the action of Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. The room was clean and comfortable, but the amenities were basic to say the least. The hotel and service is great. No metro nearby.

Great location, 2 blocks from Metro...2 stops from La Rambla. I was undecided between two hotels, and though this one was less expensive it was rated higher . so I decided to give this place a try.. Hotel was modern, clean, and very reasonably priced, with convenient parking and a pool. We drove in from Provence, tired from a long day, reception was […] friendly and very helpful. Not recommended. While the hotel's description promises it is in Eixample, a lovely section of Barcelona, it bordered on a somewhat seedy section of town. We booked a family room with a large bed in each room; guaranteed for late arrival. We arrived at midnight, got the last room and had to make do with one large bed and a cot. We complained, a more […] confortable small bed was installed, but were told that was all that could be done. In addition, the room layout was just plain odd. The bathroom door was framed by an opening, so even when the bathroom door was closed, anyone at the sink outside the room could see everything going on in the bathroom. The air conditioning did not work. The breakfast was meager...and worst of all for us caffeine addicted folks...there was only coffee from a machine. Try another hotel when in Barcelona. My only gripe with the hotel is that it appears that they turn off the air conditioning at night. During the day the unit would cool down the room but at night, after 9PM, it seemed that the unit would only produce warm air. One would think this may be a faulty unit but we stayed at this hotel in three different rooms and each room was the same.

This hotel is in the heart of the area with the highest Antoni Gaudi architecture and the gay neighborhood of Barcelona. Close to the metro and nice restaurants. I'd stay here again. Great price, great service and great area.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms spacious and had everything you need. The only points that let it down for me were that the WIFI range was weak, so I could not connect very well to the internet (kept kicking me out) but I was at the very end of the corridoor, so could just have been my room. Also, the hot water took a long time to come through […] on the shower, but once through there were no problems. Overall would thoroughly recommend this hotel especially for the price I got it for! Nice hotel and good restaurant attached for the evening. Breakfast buffet not too great and expensive if not included in your room. The other thing, if you don't book through their website, the spa is not included and costs another 10 euros per day. Otherwise a good hotel.

Nice and clean room. But the advertised High Speed Internet was absolute useless. In a 5 days stay, I never measured more than 130 K down and practically nothing up. Impossible for skypeing, and constantly falling out. The gym is “one” bench, and a few weights, so don’t bother paying the extra 5 euro daily they insist to receive. We stayed in Villaroel in Dec...now I dont usually leave reviews, but have to share.... We really really REALLY enjoyed our stay. The staff were absolutely amazing.. Friendly, helpful, approachable... Seriously amazing... The room was larger than we expected, the bed was comfy...if we didnt have loads to do and see, i could have slept all day. The […] bathroom was so stylish and clean. The location is good...about a 15 min walk from plaça catalunya...which is good, because your near is all, but not having to be in it all the time. Would recommend. About a ten minute stroll to the heart of downtown. Room super clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. The only minus was a pathetic massage.

Excellent price/value ratio. Quiet, close to a few good restaurants (sea food, Italian, fusion) and bars. Highly recommended if you choose to stay in Eixample. Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla is within 15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Great hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location isn't too far from the metro station, which was a blessing as it was our first time in Barcelona. There were lots of nice bakeries and restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood was pleasant also. Reasonably priced for such a nice hotel in such a great city. Would highly recommend. Perfect hotel all around. Close to Las Ramblas close to public transportation, fast train rides to camp nou.

Overall, the hotel employees were very helpful and pleasant. My travel companion spent one more day/night than I did. I rained during the day and they loaned him an umbrella so he could go out an sight see.

We found the hotel in a very convenient location, 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station Urgell(come out of the Villarroel Road exit). (Although there is a wonderful pizza/pasta restaurant out of the other exit!). We chose to have the buffet breakfast at the hotel which was very nice and reasonably priced. Whole hotel was clean, modern and well […] kept. The receptionists are helpful and speak good English. Only down side was there was no Bureau de Change and nearest one was a metro ride away. We had a fantastic stay @ the Acei Villarroel. WE all agreed that the Hotel service was second to none. The rooms where quiet and well appointed, The hotel was in a quiet area away from the Ramblas which was near enough to walk too, this took 10-15 minutes to walk. We liked the possibility of having 2 connected rooms, what is ideal for families travelling with teenagers. The hotel is located within a walking distance to Barrio Antico and there are many dinning options in the neighbourhood. Rooms are of a good size and nicely decorated. There is a parking option that costs 20 euros.

This is a good location for people who are able to walk. We were able to walk both to Las Ramblas in one direction and the water/light/music show in the other direction. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us when our prepaid transfer did not arrive as scheduled. This assistance was much appreciated by us.

This was a quite pleasant hotel. the rooms are nice and the pool is a nice addition (although surrounded by apartment buildings overlooking it). The staff was relatively helpful, and the area is ok - about a 15 minute walk to La Rambla. worth staying in if you get a good deal.
