I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Wisconsin Dells! Everything went perfect for me and my 3 girls. The rooms were very clean ad well as the swimming pool and fitness room. "A dream, until the troop arrived"
i was very impressed with the quality of the room, its cleanliness, and convenient location. I slept like a baby when I first arrived on Thursday. Friday was totally different. There were kids running through the halls and constant door slamming after 10PM. I called the front desk to complain and they advised that quiet time did not start until 11PM. […] I guess that is reasonable for the weekend, but when you are tired from a long day, it is not the best thing. I ended up checking out a day early. Service was good, employees were very nice! Room was clean, whirlpool tub was very clean, pool area (inside) was clean. The breakfast was good nice and hot. Would stay again for a weekend getaway!!

"Very Happy!"
Great customer service. We like usually stay at Holiday Inns when we travel and by far this was the best one yet. Great location right off I-94, stuff for the kids and nice king whirlpool suites for the parents. My only disappointment was the beds are springy and firm. Jamie helped us a lot with satisfying our needs and she was great.

THE STAFF WAS VERY FREINDLY AND HELPFULL. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE BATHEROOM COULD HAVE USED SOME WORK, CRACKING PAINT AND OLD LOOKING TILE. OVER ALL THE ROOM WAS GOOD. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

This Holiday Inn Express was nicely located and was generally clean. The second floor was better than the first. But our kids loved the pool area so a dingy room could be over looked.

Rate for this hotel was extremely high for what we got. Hallway carpets most likely need replacing as they have many stain marks. Breakfast seems to have taken them by surprise as they were out of regular coffee for quite a while. To be fair, it was extremely busy the couple of mornings we were there. The staff was pleasant enough. Just not wowed by […] anything with this hotel, and we have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express Hotels before and have seen better. Amount we paid was probably the most disappointing thing. It was a quick last minute reservation, but we did go through hotels.com and received what we considered a normal rate. All and all, everything about the hotel was fine, but, we weren't able to check into our room at the given 'check-in time'. Check-in was at 4pm, but, we did not get into the room until almost 5:20pm. We were lucky, since we were persistant about speaking with the hotel manager and front desk. Such a little thing was such a big disappointment!
"Don't Waste Your Time"
After checking in, we found popcorn all over the floor and chair and asked to be moved to a new room. We settled into the new room and found that the toilet did not work. After maintenance "fixed" it, we tried to take a nap only to find the sheets did not fit the bed. I don't know about you, but I don't want to touch a mattress that 1,000's of people […] have slept on. When we returned to our room much later that night, the toilet was running and it ran all night. It also stopped working AGAIN. I called M. Krueger, the general manager, to complain about our stay (We were only staying 2 days!!!) He laughed at me on the phone, didn't take anything I said seriously, refused to return our money for our first night's stay, then slammed the phone down in my ear. (This Holiday Inn has a policy that if you are unhappy with your stay, you don't pay. Well we still had to.)They moved us to a new room, which upon pulling the sheets down, found stains all over them. We started referring to it as Hotel Hell and spent as little time there as possible. If you want a relaxing atmosphere where they treat you kindly, STAY CLEAR OF THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS!! I have never been treated so rudely!!! And by a manager no less. Lisez la suite

Booked room at Holiday inn Express rather than stay at Kalahari for a 2 day seminar series - stayed Wednesday and Thursday nights. Rate was much better than the Resort. My GPS said the hotel was somewhere other than where it was, but that was not the Hotel's fault. Property is VERY close to the Kalahari. Clean, comfortable, wall temperature controlled […] heat/AC unit, fridge, microwave, coffee pot (when are coffee companies going to make good in-room coffee), blow dryer, iron & iron board available. TV was pretty good, good selection of Cable channels. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised, especially after reading some negative reviews. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place (I didn't try the continental breakfast) close to great restaurants and water parks - check it out! Lisez la suite
"Pool security on power trip"
Everything was clean and as expected. Be sure to leave the pool area before 11pm otherwise the pool security will kick you out. He was on some kind of a power trip and even threatened to call 911 even though we did not even share any words with him. This was at 10:55 mind you before the pool was even closed. "Holiday Inn Express Wisconsin Dells review"
The hotel had a funny smell. The elevator made weird noises. The pool was fine. The breakfast area was too small to accommodate the guests.
The hotel needed to update some of its materials: the information in the room said to ask the desk for hotels for pool towels and that check-out was 10:30 but neither was true. However, it was a perfectly convenient place to take a 3 1/2 year old, though perhaps a little pricey.

Conveniently located off the Interstate. Hotel is on a main road and has easy access to many attractions. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very impressive. For the price that we paid per night, the rate was very reasonable. The pool area was very nice also.

We went to Wis Dells for our 1st anniversary. I like to stay at the Holiday Inn hotels. I mentioned to the desk clerk that it was our anniversary and jokingly asked to be upgraded to a suite.... Guess what? They did it! What a nice gesture on their part. I would definitely stay here again!

For being a Holiday Inn Express, the hotel was mediocre. It appears to have been a hotel that was purchased and converted to HIE. It was about 4 miles from the main Dells atractions which isn't bad, it is close to the interstate. There is plenty of food and stuff around it. "Great Hotel"
I had read the reviews, which helped me choose this hotel...we were extremely comfortable here, close to attractions, and my 3 yr old loved the pool. The breakfast was ok, we were able to find something that was satisfying. The micro and fridge in the room came in handy for the snacks I had packed..We would definately return :)
