Hôtel très agréable avec bon rapport qualite/prix, cuisine équipée avec vaisselle, petite piscine, coin barbecue avec éventuellement salle à manger et cuisine commune, très sympathique, juste un petit bémol la proximité du pont qui relie l'île juste à proximité de l'hôtel, mais la note globale reste malgré tout très positive, à conseiller.

Situation

"Excellent location"
The location is excellent, right on Daytona beach and easily accessible. The pool, hot tub and deck area is nice and facing the beach. The room was in good condition but the television remote did not work and the evening-shift desk person could not get it to work. We didn't notice until late evening so not a big issue for us. "Nice Hotel and Great Location..."
We had an overall a nice stay!! Great location and the staff was verry nice!! There was just two things that we DID NOT like.... (1) The Hot Tub wasn't clean and the front door or our room was paper thin... There were other guests staying there that were verry RUDE and LOUD at 1:00am and then again at 3:30am!!! Other then that it was a real nice time!!! […] The pool was verry clean and the ocean is 50 feet from the pool... :) What else could you want???? Lisez la suite
"Looks are deceiving...."
Parking is a joke. They said that have enough parking for one vehicle per unit (and they only give out one parking pass per room), but there are not nearly enough spots. I had to pay 10 dollars a night to park at another hotel across the street. And if you are lucky enough to find a spot, you should plan on walking wherever you go because the spot will […] not be open when you come back. The pool closes at 9:00 which I thought was quite early. The room was actually very clean, as was most of the hotel. However, the AC unit in the room was not working properly. We had it set on 60 degrees and it was still humid and warm. When I called the front desk about the problem, they replied, "Unfortunately, we will not be able to fix the problem until Monday (2 days later) when the maintenance man was there." I also noticed that the air vent for the room next to us was taken apart which made me wonder if they were having AC issues as well. The elevators were big enough for about 3 people and the safety inspection certificate in the elevator had been expired since August of 2011. I have stayed in several hotels along the beach, all of which were cheaper than this one, and they were better than this one. I was very disappointed in this hotel. I will not stay here again and I do not recommend it to anyone. There are better hotels for a lower price. Lisez la suite

"La Quinta, Daytona Beach"
The bedding was not clean upon arrival. There were stains and debris on the sheets which clearly showed it had not been changed. The staff indicated it was stained sheets and that they had been changed, but the fact you could feel debris and see a clear, unwashed ink pen mark left no doubt they had not been changed. "LaQunita Daytona"
Right on the beach! Lovely to walk right out to white sands and surf. Room is older and the carpet in need of a good cleaning, and never got a remote that would work with my TV, but otherwise room was comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare, but there is just too little space devoted to the self serve area resulting in lines and crowds.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the hotel service was acceptable to slightly above, but the rooms are a few year s late in needing to be updated and the parking lot is woefully inadequate for the number of rooms the hotel provides. If you park in the first space that comes available and never use your car again during your stay there, then […] you won't have any problems with parking. But if you're like the typical adventurer, you're screwed to the point that you probably are parking across the busy road and running for your life to get back across. Even if you are lucky enough to find an open spot, best of luck navigating a much too narrow aisle-way, that will likely be filled with extended cab pickup trucks or oversized SUV's. The parking is enough of a problem that you should stay away from this place until the owner does something acceptable to fix this situation. Lisez la suite
"Great location on the beach"
I would recommend this hotel as an average place to stay in great location on the beach. Great value but not over the top. They have parking provided and you can get to car easily from your room. The room was clean and comfortable
"Great for the price"
We stayed here for the weekend of the Sping Break Nationals, it was not over crowded we had a great parking space and it is free. The free breakfast consisted of cereal, donuts, fruit, waffles, and bagels with a selection of beverages. The room was great, our balcony overlooked to pool and the ocean. This hotel is the best we have stayed in so far out of the 5 hotels we have tryed on Daytona beach, one of those being the Hilton. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. "Pretty good for the price"
Had a nice room on the beachside of the hotel. Clean inside except for the LARGE roach on the wall near my 7 year old son's bed. Manager came up with a can of Raid and a wash cloth. Since I had already splattered it on the wall, the Raid was not necessary. In their defense, there are a LOT of roaches on the boardwalk there. Other than that, a nice […] place to stay. "Good value"
This was a solid, moderate cost choice as most of Dayona Beach seems to be either very expensive or places that are extremely seedy. My only regret is that I should've sprung for the ocean view, but the room quality and cleanliness was very good.

Stayed here for a conference at the Hilton Oceanwalk. Was nice walking distance. Just a 14-15 minute walk along the beach or street side to the conference & convention center. Room was comfortable and the location provided quiet nights. Free parking was a plus for that part of Daytona Beach. Next time I would opt for an Ocean Front room instead of […] the street side, but was still ok. Continental breakfast was typical, nothing real special though. There's enough restaurants in the area including a diner near by for having something more substantial (and tasty). The main lobby, room, pool, and beach access all seemed to be maintained well. "Bang for the Buck"
We spent 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. The first night we noticed that the A/C would ocassionally get loud. We told management the next morning and within 1/2 hour someone was in our room changing out the unit for a new one. The service and friendliness of the staff was beyond compare. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean. […] If I could make one improvement it would be to move the ashtrays away from the outside of the rooms because if someone uses it, the smell will drift into the room through the air conditioner. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night while in town visiting family. The weather was awful so we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the pool or the beach. Our room was large and clean and suited our needs. Our only complaint would be that the maid service was knocking on our door before the required check out time. When we made the reservation they told […] us check out time was 12, however, we planned to be out by 11 am-- there was no reason the maid service should have been knocking on our door at 10:30. "Dog Friendly"
Yes they do allow dogs of a certain size without a deposit. They lack in having an area that they allow for the dogs to relieve themselves though, they had a patch of grass near the road around 10'x 10' nice park over the bridge on international speedway blvd
There was not enough parking and we had to pay additional money to park elsewhere so I would not be staying there again!

This was the BEST pet friendly hotel we have ever stayed at. Very nice furniture and linens on the bed. We will definately look up La Quinta in the future when we take our dogs with us or even if we don't. I am suprised this specific locatioin did not get 5 stars. My family chose a different hotel that was rated higher and it was a DUMP
"Relaxing and clean"
My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend.We upgraded to an ocean view when we got there and loved it. AJ the General Manager was wonderful as well as the staff. I have already booked my room in two weeks. I would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is ideally situated and you could walk the beach and enjoy the boardwalk. However the guests at the hotel were loud and made sleeping quite difficult. Overall great bang for your buck!
The hotel was near empty yet they would not give me a ocean view. Also, the room smelled like dog.

My stay was good overall however the room smelt like smoke I don't know why especially when the room was considered a non-smoking room. The room was good size and it was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to others. Check out was no problem and the staff was ok.

We Never received- the (1) TWO Hour Wristband on Unlimited GO-KART - . Pet Friendly? Tiny area of grass for the animals and the beach is NOT pet friendly. If your not out by 11:am check out, they will be knocking on your door & calling you.
The hotel was nice and it was clean. We were a little disappointed in the large difference in beach access to beach front and non beach front rooms. Alos otehr hotels near by charged $10 more for beach front whereas tdhis hotel charged about 25.00+ more. The staff at the front desk were nice but not very knowledgable about he surrrounding area. Great area out front facing the ocean with grass as well as the pool. Liked the walk in pool for not only small children, but also for the adults. Very clean spacious rooms.
"Not cheap enough for what you get"
Price I paid is too much a night to have to spend to be surrounded by riff raff (other hotel guests and neighbors). Additionally, while the room was nice enough, I really dislike hotels with window air conditioning units. They are SO loud and in order to keep the room from being very humid, the air has to be kept really cold (and cold is more uncomfortable […] than humid). Staff nice. "Loved Our Stay"
We paid the extra money for an Ocean view room and it was well worth it. The room is great with comfortable beds and very clean. The housekeeper stopped by after check-in to make sure everything was OK. We talked to them throughout our stay and they are truly the best...there was a man and woman working together...great team. We loved the pool, grassy […] area and table area. We had our picnic lunch on the deck. Most hotels do not have "green" grass, but this hotel did. We are already planning our next trip to Daytona & will definitely stay at La Quinta Inn. It is just a short walk to the pier and boardwalk, but yet far enough away that you don't have to put up with all the noise if you don't want to.
