Très satisfaisant pour l'hôtel et ses prestations. Seul bémol : la durée des trajets en bus vers Manhattan ...

"hôtel Seton à New York : idéalement situé"
"hotel SETON New York Proche toutes commodités"
"All Good"
I stayed in one of the renovated rooms on the fourth floor. They were doing a bunch of renovating to the lower floors which is a good sign of progress. No bedbugs. Room was nice, location was perfect just a short walk to Grand Central. No complaints.
"Central location to restaurants and sight seeing."
Very friendly employee staff with 24 hour hour security. During our stay, the Seton Hotel was in the middle of extensive renovations, but we did have a newly updated room which was also very clean. The negative is that this hotel is right next door to a dog kennel and outside our bedroom window, this kennel has a a tiny outdoor space where the dogs […] were let outside for various periods of time and we would hear "10" dogs barking all at once. Would not stay here again because of this. Lisez la suite

"Too small"
The hotel is very small and old, although the location is in mid-town, for that price, I would not go there again. It's too noisy.
"My Review"
Room was too small. Not clean; old; There were several dogs outside the window barking all mornings. I think a dog breeder resides next door.
"Seton nyc"
Staff could not have been more friendly. My bed bug sweep was clear! Everything was clean and comfortable. For the price and location, I would highly recommend! We were in for new years eve. We did have a renovated room and private bath.
"avoid at all costs"
This hotel was so repulsive that we refused to even sit on the bed, never mind spend the night. Dirty, smelly, no lock on the door, shower was behind a curtain in the bedroom. It was like a hotel room from hell. The neighborhood? ...No cab would pick us up!
"Seton Hotel New York - close to Grand Central"
Old Hotel, but very central to everything, bed was very clean and comfortable, we had a bathroom and it was clean also, parts of it looked a little run down, but for the cost and being so central is was ideal and I would go back again, nice cafe on the corner for breakfast and could walk to all the relevant sights

"Dump"
This hotel really is a dump. It is clearly way overpriced even in New York. You feel already scared, when the receptionist sits behind a small enclosed window.
"Great room, friendly staff."
My brother and I weren't expecting much form the looks on the outside and the lobby, but as soon as you are off the elevator it is a different place, so don't be discouraged when you walk in. The room was very clean, very nice and the bathroom was huge. I have stayed in Manhattan many times and this bathroom rivaled the big hotels.
"dont recommend"
Didnt get the room I booked and when I got there instead it was a single bed room..not the double, it smelled like smoke. .Absolutely disgusting, could not stay there I ended up taking the hit on the money I spent and leaving instead of staying over night there.

"Old but clean"
I was assigned to a standard (old) room on the 1st floor. I wanted to upgrade to a new room but they were all full. The carpet doesn't look that great. But everything is clean. The room is small, but I don't need much space. There's no lobby. Overall, it doesn't look great but it's an OK stay.
"Great Location"
At first glance the hotel was old and run down, but our room had been completely renavated. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We had a private bath. The staff was friendly. Lounge had coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all times. The location was great. 3 blocks from Grand Central Station. Banks, drug stores, salons, restaurants of all […] types within 2 blocks. "Seton: Close to Grand Central / Helpful Staff"
Hi: The staff @ the Seton are 2nd to None. I will say that this is an older style hotel and for the price is good value. The free wi-fi works best in the lounge./ first floor
"Hotel Seton New York City"
Clean. Upgraded but simple. Perfect location to subway system and a safe neighborhood to walk home late at night. 24 Hour desk service. Shared bathroom but surprisingly little inconvenience.

"Perfect for an Out and About stay in New York"
Room was perfect size for 2 people, comfortable to be in close quarters with each other. If you purely need a place to shower and sleep while wanting the proximity of a metro station and New York landmarks, this is the place for you. The showers are shared on the floor, but there was never any issue or waiting. You can leave your bag if you arrive prior […] to check-in at 3pm and if you need to after check-out at 11am. Stained sheets, blood stain on the mattress in the renovated room. Nasty. Had to give the key back To the front desk every time we left. Holes in the wall, old dirty carpet. Don't expect a clean hotel. Staff was very nice and friendly.
"Great little hotel"
The rooms at the Seton Hotel have recently been renovated and are very nice. They are not big, but they are not small either. They are comfortable and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The downside to the Seton hotel is that they have 1 elevator and it is small and slow. The wireless internet only works in the 1st floor lounge which is a little […] inconvenient if you are in New York for work and have correspondence to do in the evening. They also require you to turn in your room key when you leave the building which is a little bit of a hassle. However, for the price the little inconveniences are worth it. Lisez la suite

"Ok for the money..."
Occasional business traveler - probably wouldn't recommend for the wife or family. Room itself was serviceable for the price point - although no remote and limited or now wireless internet service. Hallways and entrance pretty much run down but the room itself and bathroom were average or 6 out 10. Good location - I may or may not stay at this location […] based on availability. Lisez la suite
"Seton Hotel"
Great location!
"Seton Hotel in NYC"
I chose this hotel because the price was right and allowed us to stay in Manhattan just a few blocks from Times Square. It is an older building, so of course the rooms are small, but for the price I was expecting that. The staff are great and though there were techincal problems with the internet, this was fixed rather quickly. Overall, I would stay […] again and recommend it. Lisez la suite
"Cheapest Place you'll find Considering Location"
Just be sure to ask to be placed in one of the renovated rooms if you care about what the room looks like. Me and a buddy stayed over the weekend just to hang out, see NY and party, so we didn't really stay in the room much. Really though, you shouldn't be sitting in a hotel room when in NY.
"No way."
I booked thinking it would be a normal hotel with y'know, bathrooms and stuff. Nope. Shared bathroom with entire floor of strangers, and it's number one on the bed bug registry. I booked somewhere else based on those two items and never looked back.
"Satisfied"
Enjoyed my stay. Standard room not appealing. Spend the extra $20/night for the renovated section. The shared bathroom was brand new and well kept. Not a problem. Convenient to Park Avenue and Grand central Station.
"Seton Hotel - excellent location"
My reservation was at the base rate, which I discovered was for one of the older, non-renovated rooms. It was very dated and shabby. The hotel clerk allowed me to upgrade to one of the renovated rooms for $15, which was money well-spent. The new room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is great; only 5 minute's walk from Grand Central […] Station. Lisez la suite
"Pleasant Surprise"
This hotel is currently under-renovation which I did not know when I made the reservation. When we arrived in the lobby, I almost turned around because it was so dirty, shabby, and awful. We decided to wait to see the room and, thank goodness, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was small but wonderful, clean, hip, and modern. If you stay on a renovated […] floor, this hotel is a great value and a hidden gem. Lisez la suite
Really run down, door hit the bed on the way in, rug filthy, especially at bedside and the bathroom was moldy and kind of creepy. Front desk folks nice, however...great location but for the price, just got to wonder if it's possible to do better
"The Seton Hotel"
I had booked the hotel through Hotel.com and already Prepaid for two nights. When I showed up at the hotel, the receptionist clark said that it was NOT pre-paid (in spite of my telling him that it was pre-paid) and I was asked to charge additional amount for 2 nights on my credit card. When I called 'hotels.com and complianed, they called the hotel […] and 9hopefully) settled the issue. I will await my Credit card charges to see if the charge shows up. If they do, I will surely make it known to everyone about the fraudulent activity. Please beware!! Lisez la suite
"Better than expected"
I was expecting a total Dive from the price but was pleasantly surprised to find a Flat screen TV and artsy decor in the room. The room was clean and the hotel staff was prompt cleaning the room on a daily basis. The only gripes I had was that there was a security issue, someone knocked on my door pretending to be hotel management, and the staff did […] not do anything about it. And of coarse having to share the restroom is a pain, but that is why it was so cheap. Lisez la suite

"Close, but no cigar"
I wanted an inexpensive hotel on the east side, so the price per night and the location were perfect...that's all that was perfect. I was traveling alone and would NEVER bring my wife here. The room was tiny; the furnishings were from the year of the flood and run down; the bed was a rock; the electric was so-so; the bathroom was small; the place was […] old, old, old and looked like the owners and staff had not tried to do anything to refurbish it. Lisez la suite
"Horrible experience!"
This hotel is super old. Not that there's anything wrong w/ old. But it was definitely not worth the price I paid. It looks like they converted different rooms so the shape is weird. The shower was a converted old closet that wasn't separate from bedroom. It was like your bed and then a shower certain! The actual closet has pipes running in it and was […] shaped almost like a triangle. We found out after we checked in that they are updated the hotel, but only the top floor has been renovated at this time, and of course, those are the pictures you see on the website! The floors are very creaky, you can hear everyone walking around outside your door. This was just no where near worth the price we paid. Infact, for $20 more I could have been at the Double Tree in comfort. They actually gave me a metal key that I had to turn in if i left the building, and then had to retreive it from the front desk when i returned. Awkward at 3am! I've learned my lesson! Lisez la suite
"Elevator and condition Murray Hill NYC"
The hotel is in a great area; safe and centrally located in manhattan. In fact, just steps from Grand Central Station. Exterior of building and foyer attractive. However condition of halls and room was very poor: rundown, dusty, musty, and worn thin bedding and carpeting. Door dead bolt was barely hanging out--screw threads were stripped. On the 2nd […] day, the only elevator broke; this happened to be on a Saturday. The hotel did call in a union worker, however, we heard the union worker say "I don't want to get in too deep on this job." Needless to say, when we checked out on Monday, the elevator had not been repaired over the weekend.... There were no rooms on the first floor, so steps were unavoidable. I happen to have knees that are bone on bone, thus steps are very difficult and painful to manage. We were on the 4th floor, so I asked the clerk refund sat and sun nights, which were pre-paid, so that we could move to a hotel down the street. The clerk was unwilling to do this, but did offer us a room on the 2nd floor. Stairs are still stairs. Also, hot water problems in one of the common showers, on the first night. This was immediately repaired. The hotel is currently remodeling, so maybe next year things will be cleaner??? Lisez la suite
"Seton Hotel in NYC- walking distance to all sights"
They have recently renovated some of the hotel and the renovated room are spectacular for the price. Very clean, the shared bathroom was spotless as well. Most importantly with NYC NO BED BUGS!!! next time I stay over in NYC it will be at the Seton Hotel. Awesome location, right in the middle of everything. I didn't take a cab anywhere because we were […] so close to everything. The staff was very accomodating with information and very helpful in everything. Lisez la suite
"Seton Hotel - Grim, but clean, convenient, cheap"
I recommend this hotel on a limited basis - one to two nights. The rooms are very clean (I could smell the bleach on my sheets) as are the bathrooms, good water pressure etc., but the hotel is quite old and reminds one of a boarding house. Also, bring your own shampoo (soap is provided). Overall, it met my needs for the one night I needed it, and it […] really isn't so bad, but I was happy to stay somewhere a little more lux the next day. Lisez la suite
This one has seen better days! I didn't want to walk across the carpet in bare feet, and the whole room could be a lot cleaner. It was so hot,we ran the air-conditiioner at 60, even though it was freezing cold outside. However the location is good, the staff was very friendly and they are renovating, tho just one room at a time.
"Very outdated and small hotel - some concerns"
This is a very old hotel that has not been updated in ages. Room was extremely small and bathroom was very old and outdated, but functional. I guess one must temper accomodation expectations in Manhattan if it's not at least a 3 or 4 star hotel. Not sure I would stay there again.
"Seton Hotel in New York"
This hotel is undergoing some upgrades to the rooms but the price was too good to pass up. The floor we actually stayed on was not renovated yet. It was very old and small, but we were only planning on sleeping there since the rest of the time we were exploring the city so it served its purpose. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They set up […] shuttles for us to and from the airport and recommended places to eat. Overall the location of this hotel was really made it wonderful. Everything was close and Grand Central Station was close by. Lisez la suite

"seton hotel is great!"
this hotel is two blocks away from grand central, walking distance to awesome restaurants in murray hill. The decor can be described as shabby chic and it is very much a young people's hotel, older people would probably like more comfort. The price is fantastic and the staff were very nice, a perfect hotel for young people on a budget.
"Hotel Seton"
The amenities were worn and basic (no hair dryer or even shampoo,so bring your own) but for a brief stay in NYC, which can be crazy expensive, everything was acceptable.
